Pizza and Caesar salad were delicious. Wine was tasty, service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
The food and the service were great. We were at the restaurant at 6 pm on Saturday. When we arrived, there weren't many customers. Over time, the restaurant filled up but our service never wavered. Delicious margarita pizza, potent drinks, scrumptious dessert. We'll be back again.
The food was good but the restaurant was understaffed and needed more servers. The restaurant was also very noisy. I'd probably go elsewhere next time.
Great pizza and service! My favorites are the spicy soppressata and quattro formaggi!
The food and service was amazing! My partner and I come to Nomad Roman once or twice a month and always greatly enjoy the food and ambiance
Pizza, salad and appetizer were outstanding! We also enjoyed an amazing bottle of Italian wine (Amarone). The dessert (apple cobbler with gelato) was On Point and a great finish.
By far the best thin crust pizza in the city! I think the secret is out so probably best to make a reservation if planning on going over a weekend!
I was there with a friend and the servers seemed to be in a rush. We ordered a salad as a starter and then some pizzas. They didn’t even let us finish our salad and picked up the plates. They had a private event and wanted us to finish ASAP. There were more customers that also had to rush to finish their meals. If they have private events they should not accept reservations that are close to the time of their event, because rushing customers and bringing the checks ahead of time is very bad practice. Too bad Nomad! We wanted to catch up with some wine and they cut us off.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent vibe!
Food & waitstaff were excellent. The noise level was, however, beyond energetic.
If you are a fan of deliciously thin and crispy pizza crusts (as I am), this is the place for you. The sauce and toppings were super fresh and flavorful. The service was great; attentive, but not intrusive. As a bonus, the location is just a short walk from venues in the Avenue of the Arts area. Great for a pre-show or post-show meal.
We love it here. The meatballs and pizzas are delicious.
The happy hour specials make this a very affordable restaurant. The pizza's are very thin crust Neopolitan style, and the $6 happy hour pies are only slightly smaller than their regular pies. We had the margarita and the Trenton tomato, and both were excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant for good thin crust pizza.
Nomad has really authentic Roman style thin pizza. We have been multiple times and will be back. The meatballs are also delicious.
Normally I like this place and have been many times, but the last time we went they were really understaffed, bathrooms were pretty dirty, and it was insanely loud with loads of crazy screaming kids. The food was still great and the waiter did his best, but I’m not sure about going back. Maybe it’s more of a kids/family place now, which is fine, but it’s just not relaxing and even though we were at a small table, I couldn’t hear anything anyone was saying. The woman at the table across from us literally had her fingers in her ears. Anyway, the food is delicious.....awesome salads and pizza especially, plus a lot of great beers on tap.
I honestly think this is the best pizza in Philly. Spicy soppresatta is my all time favorite. There is a wide variety of options for different tastes. The staff is always friendly and accommodating! It is noisy on a busy night but that is to be expected. In
I love Nomad Roman. The lemoncello martini is amazing and their pizza is amazing! Pizza is probably my favorite food and the pizza from Nomad definitely does not disappoint. Their happy hours deals are also awesome!
This is our second time eating at Nomad Roman after the Army Navy Game. Dinner is always delicious and the service is wonderful. Choosing this restaurant makes me look like the coolest trip planner ever!
Great food! Way too loud! Enough said at this time.
I heard that Nomad does buy one get one pizzas on Tuesdays, so I got a group of four together and made a reservation for Tuesday night. We ordered four pizzas (for the price of two) and had leftovers! We tried the Margherita Di Bufala, Arugula Con Prosciutto, Spicy Sopressata, and Quattro Formaggi. All were delicious, but my favorites had to be the Quattro Formaggi and the Spicy Sopressata. I typically do not like spicy foods, however the honey paired with the spice was delicious. This is a great spot and if you want to try it, I'd recommend going on a Tuesday and making a reservation. The restaurant filled up quickly! There is also bar seating available, so you could always give that a try!
Fun place! Food, waitstaff & ambience first rate. Plan to go back frequently.
Nice vibes, great service. Pizza was good not excellent
I love Nomad Roman so I take everyone who visits me there. We had Spicy Sopresatta and Trenton Tomato Pie plus nutella pizza for dessert. Every bite was incredible and the service was very fast. Delicious and reasonably priced.
Great happy hour, $5 wine and $6 pizza! I love Nomad's pizza so much - I've been to the location at 7th and South before, the ambiance is a bit cuter and softer here at Nomad Roman.
Fabulous food and service, cozy atmosphere. Love the thin crust pizza!
Great Happy Hour.
Stopped here before going to the Kimmel. I have been here several times before and each time, I think why don't I come here more!! Made reservations and was lucky that I did. We were quickly greeted and seated and our order was pleasantly taken. The vibe was energetic and all seemed to be enjoying the evening. We ordered a pizza that was simple and delicious as was the pasta pomadoro-possible the best I've had. A shared Greek salad topped the dinner off perfectly! As we were early, we could take advantage of the wine discount! Will return of course.
Nomad Roman is a favorite spot for us. This time we were there during Happy Hour. Great prices. Outstanding flavor. Service was a bit slower than usual. Noise level was quite high, which is especially challenging for us who wear hearing aids.
Apps and pizzas were excellent. The fall roasted veggies were a great combination of Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes and red onion. Nomad changes this app for the season. Our server was very attentive yet not overbearing. Great dining experience as always.
our server Ricky was very pleased and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back
Excellent value; great food. Noise level was in the 'extreme' the night I was there but I would still return. The waitstaff misunderstood one of my guest's selection of a dish. When I pointed it out, the correct dish was delivered & there was no charge for the corrected dish: very good policy!
Great for a group gathering. Delicious!
The food was wonderful! I love their pizza and salads. However, the service was a whole other thing. We ordered a salad with cheese and anchovies on the side as I have a seafood allergy, am a vegetarian and have dairy issues. Our salad took a half hour to come out. Nothing was on the side, but I saw no anchovies and the was only a small bit of cheese. As we started to eat, my husband told me to stop eating because there were finely chopped pieces of anchovies in the salad. Fortunately, I had not eaten any. It took forever to get a waitstaff person in order to send salad back. I explained why I ordered items on the side....allergy....vegetarian...and a waitress who was not actually our waitress had a new salad done and took salad off of our bill. She was truly helpful. When new salad came out, cheese and anchovies were on the side but most other ingredients had been left out of the salad. We ate it anyway. Thankfully when pizzas came, they were delicious as always. Nomad's service is never as good as their food, but we show up for the food. However, seafood allergies are serious and i take being vegetarian very seriously so their salad screw up was something I wasn't too happy about.
Had a reservation for a Sunday night at 5pm. We showed up 10 minutes early and we were immediately seated. The service was so quick - we had food on the table by 5:08. I checked the time because of how quickly it came! We ordered the arancini, a salad and a pizza. The salad was delicious. We loved the arancini. The pizza was plenty for two people to share. This is a great spot!!
Very good, I like
Delicious as always. Trenton tomato pie is our favorite but we love the specialty pies as well.
Food is ok. Service was not great.
Very good Pizza and the service was great also. My favorite Pizza place in Philly!
Hands down, it as the best pizza shop in Philadelphia.
