   One the best meals out that we've had in a while. The calamari was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly! All in all a perfect birthday dinner!

   The setting is beautiful and we were there during the off season in mid-March. The service was excellent and the food was good overall. The small plates were too much food in my opinion and the plates came out too quickly, which may have been because there were so few people in the restaurant. The wine list is very nice. I’m sure it is incredibly popular in the peak season and the setting alone makes it worth it.

   Highly recommend Natalie! The food never disappoints and is always cooked perfectly. It also comes out in a timely manner and servers are very good about clearing dishes before more come out. One of my favorite restaurants up north! Will absolutely be back!

   Food was amazing as well as the service. One of our entrees got delayed quite a bit and wasn’t brought out for another 20 minutes after the rest of the food was brought. The manager came by to apologize and brought us the most delicious dessert! Can’t wait to come back next time i’m in town!

    Most of the dishes were excellent with the exception of the Asian flare with salmon and noodles. It was so spicy we couldn’t finish it. The server Carson was wonderful and very attentive. We will be back.

    We had a wonderful experience at Nomad for dinner. We ordered two of the calamari which were incredible, although the sauce is a little on the spicy side if that’s something you’re sensitive to! Additionally, we got an order of the chicken parm bao buns which I was very impressed with and would absolutely recommend. Both of these small plates came out to our table in a timely manner. I ordered the filet as an entree and again was very impressed — it was cooked perfectly and while I’m usually picky about the sauce it compliments the filet perfectly. Finally for dessert, I got the Kentucky butter cake which comes warmed and was delicious! I also tried the peppermint homemade gelato which very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone for not only everyday dining, but even for a special occasion :)

    What a wonderful surprise to have such tasty and beautifully presented dishes this evening! The menu descriptions did not entice me, but my friends and I found the plates we ordered to be excellent! The beet salad was very good as was the tomato soup. We also enjoyed the truffle fries, the kale Caesar salad, smashed sweet potatoes, and fried chicken. We will definitely return and recommend Nomad to our friends.

    The food was good but our server was young and inexperienced with drinks. The bartenders were also not very good and argued about what was in a dirty martini. Coming from a bartender with over 20 years experience, they were not correct but insisted they were. That whole experience made the overall experience not very good.

    We had a wonderful evening. Sharing the small plates was a hit with my group of 5 friends. I would have given 5 stars but we were cold and had to keep our coats on even with sweaters underneath. Management was unable to move us to another table away from the windows. They closed the shades which helped and we took off our coats half way through the meal. Overall great food and waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made good suggestions.

    The food came in large portions but there was too much sauce on many of the dishes. The cocktails were excellent though! The MSU game was on so it was rather loud - the restaurant doesn't have great acoustics because of the cement everywhere. There was a rather loud group watching the game, which we didn't mind but it was hard to hear your own conversation with the noise. We'll probably be back but would maybe stick to drinks.

    Ambience was good. Food was below average. Calamari chewy, truffle fries cold with a lemon aioli-not a good match for truffle fries, Brussels sprouts hard. Chicken lollipops fatty. The cheeseburger was very good. Carrot cake was dry. Very disappointing food. Service was ok, but kept forgetting plates. The server would bring the large plate without plates for the 4 of us. Drinks were too expensive. $19 for a glass of Chardonnay? Heard a lot about Nomad, but unfortunately our party of 4 was very disappointed.

    This was my second visit to NOMAD and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The staff we interacted with were very nice, but it felt as if it was their first night on the job… with little to no training. The dishes were alright, but the quality of the dishes and service didn’t reflect the price point. The Brussel sprouts were drowning in aioli. The burger was a simple smash burger for $26 and the fried chicken was bland. We ordered dessert and had the gelato dropped off before our dinner plates were cleared and then we waited another ten minutes for the apple pie to arrive. I recommend you order one item at a time, whether you know you’re whole order or not because the dishes will come out whenever they’re ready, regardless if they’re coursed or not. I’m surprised that NOMAD has such a disconnect from what I find to be a given when it comes to service; fine dining and casual alike. I hope they can figure it out because the potential is there.
