Very friendly and attentive service. The short rib sandwich was very good.
On Sunday the menu is limited to about 6 small plate options and 5 dinner options. Food was very salty. Never go on a Sunday.
Atmosphere doesn’t warrant the prices for the food. The food was good. The inside looks more like a casual bar.
Always a top notch . great food, great service, never disappoints.
Great menu options. Delicious food. Loved the decor...very comfortable and classy. Excellent service for our party of 9 on Mother's day. We will definitely return.
The atmosphere was great and the decor is very nice. Our server was very attentive and pleasant.
I returned to the Nomad Grill for a reserved lunch because I had a conference within their onsite Best Western Premier Hotel Grand Ballroom. Since nearly 200 people descended upon the Grill they were noticeably swamped. No one was available to hostess so I found my seat at the bar. The Tomato Bisque was excellent. It's served with a quarter piece of grilled cheese sandwich right in the soup, like an oversized crouton. It took a while before I was given a napkin or utensils so I could begin eating though, which was a bit of a miss. When I paid, I used my Frequent Diner card to get the points, but the suited guy who was serving (presumably a manager) just took a photo of my bill and diner card. Sure hope I get the points, and that Open Table knows I patronized this place.
We ended up eating at the bar because we arrived hungry about 15 minutes before our reserved time. Happy Hour seven days a week. My beverages were good. Really enjoyed the salmon sliders! The Mexican street corn was good too, if a bit more difficult to eat neatly because of the white cheese poured over it. Kevin was our knowledgeable and incredibly helpful bartender/server. Truly an enjoyable experience!
We went for their Easter brunch. For 3 adults and 1 child it was $200. It was not worth $200. It was worth probably $25 a adult and $10 a child. A lot of options but not that tasty.
Very sorry, but this was way below than anticipated.
I learned that it is part of a best western so would I have known my expectations would have been way lower and i would have not considered making a reservation to begin with!
Nothing I can recommend , it is a dark place , low sealing, not cozy at all and just like an airport Ambiente .
Waiter was very fast to point out that happy hour is over , and the quality and selection of wine was close to 2 — and charging 7$ for what I got ...!
Ok , enough said .
We were the only people in the whole restaurant, Monday at 7pm.
I had a party of 7 and we all enjoyed our experience at Nomad Grill. Jamie who was the asst. Manger did a excellent job taking care of us. I am looking forward to my next visit.
The salmon and risotto was a good portion for the price. The filet medallions were small for the amount you pay. Asparagus a little over cooked. The filet medallion had a tendon, so it wasn’t true filet.
But, I enjoyed myself. Service was great. I MAY go again.
Great atmosphere, beautiful restaurant and great service!
There was a leak on the ceiling in the middle of the dining area next to the tables with a bucket on the floor.
It was a birthday lunch, and we were very surprised when our wait staff brought a brownie sundae to the table for us to share! Delicious food! My friend had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which she said was AWESOME!!
Both the Spicy Chicken sandwich and the Italian Stallion sub were a strong 8/10 on the food scale. Flatbread appetizer ("antipasto") was also very good-to-excellent (7/10). Tomato bisque good (6/10), fries were average (5/10).
Service outstanding (10+/10), thanks to primary server, Latisha (thank you!), as well as the Manager & bartender. Overall, attentive & considerate without being the least "too much with us."
Second visit, and will be adding it to my rotation of lunch/dinner locations for clients as well as personally.
They had our table ready when we arrived! Server as excellent - always on top of things!
Food was great!
Food was excellent and our server Kevin was top-notch! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
This venue was completely empty when we arrived early for our reservation. They accommodated us without incident. The Menu is quite slim, but the food was outstanding. Our server was superb! Overall it was a great very intimate and quiet evening.
I'm dairy-free, gluten-free and vegetarian. They customized several options for me. Everything was so yummy. Our group of 7 had the best of service and a great experience!
Reading the reviews I felt this was someplace we should try. For a Saturday night 9:00p their were 3 couples in the restaurant. The menu didn't have many options. My husband ordered a drink & we decided to go someplace else. Wait staff was nice, sits were comfy & restuarant appeared to be clean.
The Nomad Grill is not really sure what it wants to be, I think. The setting is lovely, but the bar with TVs is situated right in the dining room, which seems a little out of place in a fine dining atmosphere. The wine list is extensive, but our terrific server Kevin was not able to locate the bottle we selected because the bottles were in disarray apparently (though he made a great recommendation for a bottle we really enjoyed). The wine list has bottles that cost hundreds and even thousands of dollars, but apparently some of them are not available. The very expensive wine choices seem out of place for a restaurant attached to a Best Western. There were few people dining on a Friday evening. We were celebrating the birthday of an elderly friend, and Kevin made sure she felt special. The food was all delicious and the options were varied and interesting. A special birthday dessert was brought for our friend unsolicited, which was lovely. But then we were charged for this dessert, even though we didn't request it, which seemed odd- like everything else about the Nomad Grill: Lovely somewhat formal setting but TVs with sports in the dining room (but oh those cushy chairs were comfortable), Extensive wine list but plastic name tags for servers (as if in a diner); few patrons on a Friday night, adjacent to Best Western. The food was good. I just wish Nomad Grill could figure out what it wants to be when it grows up....
Food was awful. Ambiance awful. Service was ok. Wouldn’t recommend and wont be returning any time soon.
Third time @ Nomad Grill .. delicious lamb chops + lobster appetizer
Wines (even by the glass) are expensive (up to $17!), but what I tried was good. I enjoyed my three cheese grilled sandwich with a sidecar of tomato bisque. Unfortunately, the bisque was served only lukewarm. Do try the dessert menu. The raspberry lemon torte was extraordinary and light! Coffee was excellent as well.
The staff treated us well from the moment we walked in. The menu is unique and fun. We enjoyed ourselves, and were very a bit loud and the staff participated in our merriment.
The plush seats were a major plus.
Nice atmosphere. Food was good and staff were friendly.
Food was good but did not get credit for dining & epicurean group
Sadly, the restaurant was very quiet & our service was incredibly slow! Our server was very pleasant. We ordered a hamburger med. rear & waited almost a half hour for it & it arrived WELL done.
Very nice! The atmosphere, service, and food are all great.
Phenominal customer service and delicious food!!! This is my new favorite restaurant!
Nomad Grill has outstanding food. A Hidden gem inside this newest hotel, it is definitely worth the discovery. Everything we have had there on three separate occasions has been extremely tasty and top notch. We are definitely putting this on our rotation.
This was our fourth visit. The food and drinks were very good, as usual. We had the blackened salmon, Caesar salad, and the famous lobster corn dogs, as well as martinis. The service was a bit off until the (seemingly) manager stepped in to assist the server, which we appreciated. Thereafter, our service was very good. (The server may have been new and just needs a little more training.) All and all, we will be back for a fifth visit!
food at nomad was good, the waiter was very attempt and nice to us and help us to choose from the menu, like the food and the service, i'm not so taken by the location of the restaurant.
place was empty and menu very limited. Server attentive and food good.
Will, the manager was outstanding. He made my birthday simply wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Was less than impressed with the food and the service. The manager ended up giving us 40% off of our meal because our service and food was subpar. I appreciate him trying to make things right, but I would not return.
My wife and I came here specifically to test out the lobster corn dog and the short rib dinner. We also had the Caesar salad split for 2 and the blackened salmon. The ambiance was nice with plenty of seating. But it felt more like a bar than a restaurant with a bar. Overall, the food was just OK. I felt the short rib could use more seasoning and the grits with the short rib were bland. My salmon was a little over cooked, but the risotto with my salmon was delicious and the Lobster corn dog was very good. Service was great, I just wish the food was a little better.
