L entrée de tataki de thon était exquise. La présentation des plats était superbe . Il serait intéressant d avoir la photo des plats dans le menu car parfois il est difficile de savoir de quoi il s agit avec le nom du plat (ex: poutine de quelque chose dans un menu asiatique)
Ma fille de 8 ans a adorée!! Les plats commandés étaient légers et goûteux. Nous y retournerons probablement.
Did the chefs tasting menu. Started off great but fried rice course was aggressively salty - sent it back and they said they would come back with a newly made one. We never got it - they replaced with a fish tempura dish. First couple of bites both my partner and I had small bones we could have easily choked on. Not impressed.
This restaurant is beautiful and the food is good conceptually. However the execution and attention to detail is not there.
Super souper mais chaises ô combien inconfortables. Excellent service, bonne bouffe
great dumpling sauce, delicious desserts and the pork was melting in your mouth. Friendly service.
Chairs were so uncomfortable though. Bar area nice if you’re a business group.
The dumplings are honnestly the best I ever had. The poke bowl was okay, the tofu was really good but it shouldn’t be served in a plate but in a bowl as it is hard to mix the ingredients.
Finally, you could really tell that the tarte tatin was not fresh and the ice cream had no taste whatsoever. I believe for $10 and as the restaurant in a Luxury hotel this shouldn’t be the case.
Then, the service wasn’t in line.
We were brought « amuses bouches » on which the waiter put on the table instead of leaving it on a little plate, not very hygienic.
We had to call a waiter to order our desert after over 30 minutes of wait, and then I had to wait another 30 minutes for it.
Next to that, the waiters were cleaning the tables with a spray product right next to us, while we were eating and already making us feel as if we had to leave, although it wasn’t even near the closing time, also net very professional
I am not criticizing their manners, because each was very friendly however I believe some basic service matters should be reviewed.
This restaurant is in the W Hotel, located near the Caisse de Depot and the Montreal Palais des Congrès (convention center). I expect is draws a great deal of its business from the hotel, though the hotel also has a Houston's connected to it, as well as a funky bar off the lobby. We enjoyed the special menu that was part of a broader Montreal celebration of cuisine in late October and early November, the food was good and the presentation was pleasant, we enjoyed ourselves but were not "wowed." Very good, attentive service from a young and enthusiastic staff. Unique modern decor with parachutes on the ceiling, a first for me. Wine list is limited and the interesting bottles are overpriced, but looking at other diner's tables this did not seem to be a deterrent. We stuck with their draft beer selections, which were generous and reasonable. Would I make a special trip to this restaurant? No - there is a lot of competition in the area that surpasses this one. Would I accept an invitation to go back? Yes - I think that I would give it another try on their regular menu and see how it turns out.
Food was excellent and the place is so beautiful ! We really appreciate that the chef came to all the tables to talk with people at the end of night.

From the food, to the drinks, good vibes, service, nice decor: my friends and I liked this place and would not hesitate to go back.

We had a great evening the food was excellent and the staff very generous!
We made reservations with Open Table and arrived on time. The hostess claimed she wasn’t working there but then proceeded to talk to bartender for 5 minutes before finally deigning to seat us... with no menus or even water and then started to assist at other tables. It wasn’t even the table type from our reservation. Not that big a deal, but then it was a full 30 minutes from when we finally were seated to when we finally got a beverage from a server. It was dead- maybe other 4 tables in the whole restaurant!!! The food was above par and flavorful, but I wouldn’t recommend the service.
Highly recommend. The duck is delish. Service was good. Not too busy as it is fairly new.
Really enjoyed my experience at Nom Nom. Our server/bartender/advisor Allison was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, best service I have had in awhile. Outside The food and cocktails were fun, inventive and delicious. Also really enjoyed the ambiance of the room. All around lovely dinner.
Unfortunatlely for us the service was extremely long and the restaurant was empty AND had to serve ourselves our last glasses of wine! The food was great but the entire experience left us with a dissapointing feeling.
Nous avons demandé conseil au serveur pour les plats (à partager), il nous a très bien conseillé; c'était délicieux et la quantité était parfaite. Le service était impeccable, le serveur était très sympathique (Sébastien). L'ambiance est bien agréable; malgré que le restaurant soit rempli, ce n'est pas trop bruyant. Tout était bon, des goûts surprenants et bien agencé. Quel beau moment!

Pretty good food in general - creative twist to some classics, interesting textures & excellent presentation. Service was quite slow though.
Flavor were generally good, but crudo ordered as a main as a miniscule portion and tuna was dried out...didn't taste fresh. Stick with the cooked items.

Menu limité et très cher pour ce que ça vaut. Aussi, ce n'est pas clairement expliqué et on avait l'impression qu'on en aurait plus pour notre argent. La nourriture est correcte, sans plus. Qualité inégale d'un plat à l'autre.
