Just excellent ❤️
We celebrated a birthday with Nolos brunch. Drinks and food were excellent but they were slow to come out and it took about 2.5 hours drinks to checks.
Food and service were excellent. The overcrowded table behind us of a group overindulged in the $20 endless mimosas was very annoying!!
I had high expectations and was a little disappointed. I went with my partner for his birthday and the server didn’t acknowledge his birthday at all, even when she checked his ID for a drink. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine pasta and the pasta was firm and chewy.
Excellent food and service. We definitely will go back.
We had a great time. Great selections on their happy hour menu, so it was a good value.
Food was delicious! Server a bit slow and not super friendly or energetic
I would recommend to friends yes. But I would say sit on the other side. The noise level was quite atrocious. Food was phenomenal though. Only thing I wish I could change would be the noise level. But I know begged a can’t be choosers. Was a fun date night just wish I could have heard her:)
Great food. Nice ambience.
Amazing food. Great environment. Was not too noisy.
I really enjoyed my time at Nolos. The food was really great, it was in a fabulous area, and I enjoyed my service. The problem was it was so loud in the dining area. The noise from the bar was overflowing into the dining area and was almost unbearable. I could not hear the individual I was with who is sitting across from me.
We enjoyed the cozy booth and the openness of the restaurant. The burrata was different and delicious. We both ate pasta. The shrimp fettucine and the crab bucatini were both fabulous, and enough food to provide lunch the next day. Service was attentive and friendly. Nice find!
Their food and service was excellent, had a later reservation because of the shortage of parking.
Kitchen forgot a key ingredient in a dish (the meat), and the server took it back and nothing ever happened from there- no new dish, no attempt to fix the issue, and no credit on the bill. We were waiting for the issue to be corrected and the waitress brought out final bill assuming we were done, with no mention again of the issue. It was really weird- maybe she's never been a server before? Food was ok- linguine carbonara (without the aforementioned pancetta) was really bad- extremely garlicky, but the brussels/cauliflower side was excellent. Kale ceasar salad was average.
Looks like the bar scene appeared strong (it was Valentine's day evening) but the lighting was really bright for a bar/ restaurant. This is a personal thing- to each his or her own, but in my opinion it was really too bright in there.
I really enjoy Nolo's every time I go. I've had breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner there and each experience has been a positive one.
The service is outstanding.
The drinks are some of the best in town (they even made me a mocktail mojito to enjoy while pregnant).
Order a side of fries and split them between your table.
The cheeseburger is something I crave...often.
There is something on the menu for everyone.
Celebrated galentines day with a group of friends and this was the perfect spot. Ambiance is modern and stylish. Cocktails were great, appetizers delicious and food options for everyone.
Outstanding service, bottomless mosas were 🔥🔥🔥
Great North Loop eaterie with a neighborhoody vibe. Food and service were great. It is definitely a bit on the louder side.
This was our first time to Nolo’s and it exceeded our expectations! Our service was excellent, personal and fun. Food was terrific; we shared a few things, all were good and the salmon was perfectly portioned and delicious.
We’ll definitely be returning!
the food was divine, the Rosemary drink was amazing. Bright airy ambiance.
eager to go back.
A "hip & with it" establishment. Our table was in a spot where my husband's view behind me was an empty white wall, but I guess that meant he had to look directly at me 😉 Our waitress was very talkative, which wasn't a bad thing. She also gave us just the right amount of attention.
My husband loved the cheeseburger, which is something they're known for. My salmon was good, but I felt the broccolini was on the crunchy side with too much salt/seasoning. Our waitress offered to get me a fresh order, but I declined. Instead, they picked up our dessert & the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake was delish!
It was a pleasant experience, but we probably wouldn't go out of our way to come back.
We had a really awesome experience here! Drinks and apps were great (highly recommend the duck spring roles). Food was also delicious. Good portion sizes and overall a good value!
Went here for my daughters birthday. Everything was absolutely outstanding! Can’t wait to go again.
Nothing exceptional - food, service, atmosphere were all average - There is nothing drawing me to return.
Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and we were not rushed. The food was excellent, and prices were reasonable. Plenty of variety. It’s a cool atmosphere. Parking is the only issue, but it’s Washington Ave. I will be back soon.
TRULY OUTSTANDING!! Service. Food. Environment. ALL of it was amazing but our server by far was THE BEST part because of her recommendations and humble and sincere personality. She recommended the caramel toffee desert and I can’t wait to go back just to have it! DIVINE!
Very good in all respect
Nolo's food was fantastic, vibe for brunch was great! Service was on-par for New Years Day - relaxed, maybe
a little too relaxed. I'll definitely back for another brunch or dinner!
Everything but the food was really good.
Great food and service at a nice location. Parking generally available and convenient.
Delicious food. Terrific service. Our server knew everything about the dishes we ordered and enthusiastically endorsed our choices. Nice wine and beer options. We will return!
College graduation celebration
Smoked chicken pizza, tomato basil soup, and salmon - all so yummy!! Plus the service was outstanding!
The Açaí bowl was terrible
So impressed with NOLO, from the food to the service to the actual physical space, we loved it! The lighting was especially pleasing ,soft but yet light enough to read the menu! (Am I that okd??) will definitely be back!
What a fun restaurant! Food and drinks were excellent. We loved sitting in a booth—it helped to reduce noise so we could hear each other talk. While our waiter was pleasant, she really couldn’t offer any guidance other than ‘everything is good’ when we asked questions. Most of the food came piping hot to the table except for a few side dishes which may have been sitting/cooling off while the main dish was completed. Definitely a lively restaurant with a good crowd. We’ll be back!
Nolo's never disappoints! All of the above!!!! The food, the service, the atmosphere...AND, it's within walking distance from home!!!
I have eaten at Nolo's for breakfast/lunch a number of times and loved it! This was my first try at dinner. The menu is simple - pasta's and pizzas, sandwiches, salads and a couple of true entrees. While the food was very, very good, I was underwhelmed, to be honest, with the overall experience. Our server was not exactly attentive. If I have to track a server down for a second glass of wine, which I did, I get frustrated. Also, it was disappointing that the place doesn't evolve into a dinner place very well. It felt like a lunch/breakfast place that just got dark. It was pretty dead on a Friday night so the energy was disappointing. I think even having candles at the tables would add a lot to make it more like a festive dinner venue. Oh - and one thing I really like about this restaurant is that they have a small parking lot... not at night though!! They turn it into paid valet parking. Bummer. Parking was found on the street without too much issue, but it was just enough of a bummer all around to not come back for dinner.
Been here twice so far and I know I have raved about this place at least 5 times or more. Staff here really knows how to make the customer experience amazing!
We booked Nolo’s for my husband’s and daughter’s birthdays. I indicated that in the booking and to the waitress when we arrived. The waitress was MIA for most of our time there and when she was there the service was terrible. She continually forgot things like the water we asked for. Four times. She never even mentioned the birthdays or gave us an opportunity to sing. The food was just okay - not good enough for us to go back to endure another meal with terrible service. Maybe this spot is better for brunch. Cool atmosphere though!
