About
The service was awful and there were maybe 4 tables occupied. The food wasn’t hot, nor was it good and no one asked if we needed more drinks. Our waitress checked on us once. The valet driver got in our car after smoking a cigarette and the entire car smelled like smoke. Overall, we’ll never be back again. It was a HUGE disappointment.
absolutely love it here! staff is friendly, food is incredible!
Lovely restaurant, and I highly recommend going in Tuesday’s to get the special!
While the food was very good, the service was pretty bad. We had a reservation and were not seated for 30-40 minutes (it was busy but not full). Everything was very slow, and we were not checked on much at all. Even the drinks took about 30 minutes. We were there for about 3 hours. The manager kept coming to the table and making comments about "making it up to us" and acting like we would get something for free for our wait but that never happened. We were also told they were out of certain things then saw them brought to other tables. The food was good but not worth the wait and service.
It was horrible. They ran out of cheese. What kind of Mexican restaurant runs out of cheese. And the tortillas are a joke. My reservation was for 8:15. We had to wait 30 min to get a dirty table. The food was cold. it didn’t have a sizzle. And once again they Did NOT HAVE CHEESE. I feel bad for the waiter he was very nice and trying to make things better. The manager on the manager should not be managing. He needs training.
Nothing special. Better food to be had in New Orleans but still a nice night out.
It was my first time there. I ordered the corn... 20 minutes pass by then the waitor comes and says they are out. So we order the jalepeno appetizer.... another 20 minutes pass, he comes back and says they are out of that too. So we order entrees. When those come out it basically was cheese and tortillas... there was no seafood at all in the enchiladas. Never going again.
My expectations maybe were too high but there was no bartender initially. It took a long time to be sat and even though I reserved an outdoor table we were put in the far corner indoors. We were nearly alone the restaurant was so empty and the service time was just unfortunately slow. The food was good but not great. We did find a cute coffee shop around the corner to save the day but I likely won’t go back to Nolé.
Service was great and food was surprisingly delicious
Love the atomosphere and food was amazing:)!!
We sat in the bar and what a great experience we had. Our server was so friendly and had great recommendations. The margarita was excellent and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Not impressed. Overpriced
I had my birthday dinner here it was perfect! The neon lights for photos and the candlelit tree. My guest loved the experience and we had a blast. the food was really good as well. The server Ryan was nice and helpful. They were out of some stuff like mid-dinner they ran out of tea. But, it was Mardi Gras time and a parade had just ended. Overall I loved the restaurant.
Food was ok, service was terrible. Menu had items listed as gluten free that, upon asking, are not gluten free. Beautiful restaurant, but they need professional servers, not trainees. Valet parking was awesome.
Fast service. Good food. Pleasant staff.
Our server was not very attentive, with anything we needed we had to call him over or look for him. with it being a Tuesday night it was not very busy but he took extremely long when we ordered our drinks. Our food even came to the table like warm, not hot at all. The food was great just wish we would’ve gotten it sooner. We also did not receive our rice and beans side that is supposed to come with our meal. When trying to inform him, he walked past our table multiple times. We were finished with our food and ready for our check before he came back to our table to ask if everything was ok. By this time we did not even want to bother him with it and asked for our check. Overall, the atmosphere, decor and food were great, it was just the service that was disappointing.
The food was very good. The service was a little slow, especially since there was only one other table occupied. They did give us a free appetizer since the food was taking a while. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
Wow, what an awesome find! Great location, valet parking, great view of St Charles Ave while dining! Drinks were great, chips and salsa very good, food was excellent, fried oyster soft tacos, YES! Outstanding service, very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return!
Absolutely the best food around town. Highly enjoyed the drink menu.
The appetizers are delicious and the rest of the menu is even better! Sangrias can’t be beat! We had a group of 6 and everyone was impressed with every aspect of our experience.
Both diners ordered fajitas, one shrimp and one steak. Fajitas are supposed to be served in a sizzling skillet with the onions, peppers and spices they were cooked in. These were disappointing. Every other Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at served double the food for an equal price. The skillets were room temperature and the four tortillas were half the size you expect. The restaurant is very bright and clean and the decor attractive. The service was adequate.
I doubt I’ll be returning, Superior Grill knocks this type cuisine out of the park.
Overly salty food, burned beans, way spicy (even for those dishes advertised otherwise), and just ok hostess.
Great service, one of the better margaritas I had in NOLA. The nachos, tacos, and avocado salad were very good!
Finally got a chance to try the place out and it was highly disappointing. After experiencing the grumpy older bartender who seemed miffed at anyone who needed service we were finally seated. If not for this experience the service would have at least been 5 star. As for the food it was subpar and overpriced for the tiny portions you receive especially the shrimp and crab enchiladas which were horrible tasting and literally the size of my thumbs. Do not recommend this place at all
Food was cold. Margarita was good as well as our service.
My biggest complaint is that I specifically asked for corn tortillas because I have a gluten allergy and I ended up eating a flour tortilla by mistake because I assumed it was corn. This sucks because this makes me sick. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food and when it arrived only one of our dishes was good. Definitely not worth the $180.00 price tag for 3 drinks, 3 entrees, and an appetizer. Go somewhere else.
Food was fair.
food was pretty mediocre and the lights were too bright. Huge restaurant so doesn’t feel super intimate. But it was open on Christmas Eve!
Excellent authentic New Orleans inspired food!! Hola Y'all meatballs and Blue Crab Street Corn are a must.
Server David was one of best service experience of our many restaurant visits. He was familiar with the menu foods n was able to wait on several tables with little wait time. He made our first Nole dining experience a delight.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, and a sangria is a MUST HAVE!
I booked reservation for 5:30pm and Nole called me and sAid that they were overbooked and would not honor my OPEN Table reservation. I was left with no place to go and no future offer to accommodate me for my 26th wedding anniversary.
Fantastic menu, beautiful place and atmosphere, tons of outdoor seating and delicious food! The fried okra and green been appetizer was so good as was our quinoa bowl, guacamole dip and tacos! Can’t beat the $5 happy hour margaritas as well!
The food was absolutely wonderful, but our server whose name was David was the greatest part of the experience – – he was quite possibly the nicest young man that I’ve ever encountered in five decades of dining. His attitude made the five-star meal six stars. Nole’is a new Al Copeland concept and I hope it truly catches on, because the Mexican food with a Cajun flair has a truly wonderful place in our hearts and palates already… Can’t wait to go back!
It was very chill I loved it !
Thanks for sharing!
Food was amazing. Service was also really good. The crowd was kind of hipster central but they can't help that. Excellent experience highly recommended if you want to try southern Mexican fusion. Did I say the food was incredible?
I took a dear friend here for bday lunch. They had the quesadillas and they loved them. Everything was great... I have one negative. The avocado salad was lacking avocados. Well there were no avocados on my salad just field greens. The dressing was great. Please avocados to the salad.
Let me say food was amazing! It's a great date night place. However, the service was HORRIBLE! We waited at least 25 minutes for our app, and it was guacamole. Drinks took a little long to arrive.
Very loud and got louder as the evening went on.
Service was slow and got slower as the evening went on. The waitress repeatedly said "it's busy". She was not very attentive.
Food was mediocre.
I will not go back.
Unexpected deliciousness with a terrific server who gave great recommendations and who took our special requests with ease.
