Great value!
Friendly service, delicious fresh and flavorful food, accommodating to special requests and chefs that care!
The food and service is very good, and consistent.
We love Nola's ! The food is consistently interesting and appetizing. The ambiance is inviting and everyone from the chef down to the bus-staff is pleasant. Thank you Nola's!
From start to finish everything was perfect! Reservation was for 7:45 but they were able to seat us early. Save room for dessert!!
It was our first time visiting Nolas. Food ..service .. were excellent .Will definately be back ..Live music ever ?
Went for a Saturday lunch - which they serve in the Annex. Reviews were positive and the place met the expectations. The place is a cross between pub (menu) and fine dining. Everything (burger, sandwich, soup and salad) was done very well with nice touches. Can't wait to go back.
Nola’s is a great gem in Clinton!! The food never disappoints and the atmosphere is top notch!!! Looking forward to my next visit!!
My daughter and her husband live in Brooklyn where they frequent many exotic and well reviewed restaurants. I️ was surprised that they were so enthusiastic about the food...wine choices .. and esp the ambiance at Nola’s. We arrived just after some large parties had left so we had Jansen’s total attention and he was charming as always. Clinton is lucky to have Nolas.
Went with a party of 6. We were seated on time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Love the Reno. Everyone had a great time and the food was excellent. Looking forward to our next dinner there.
Friendly and efficient service, creative menu, sophisticated yet comfortable ambiance. A night to remember.
Wonderful. Group of friends celebrating a birthday Thurs Dec 14. Friendly and gerat waiter....very attentive but not intrusive. Loved the reno. Very cool. Need to get here more often!
My dinner here on Saturday night was terrible. The table that I was placed at was in a corner and the table was entirely too large for the space. The table also was extremely wobbly and was difficult for my husband and I to eat at the same time because the table was shaking. The waitress or hostess really didn't care too much about us and spent a lot of time checking in with every other table except for mine. I think she was rude. Our waitress took about 10 minutes to even greet us. Honestly I would never recommend this place again considering the price. The entire situation was laughable.
Great food and excellent service. I had 1/2 portion of the short rib and truffle lasagna which was delicious! I look forward to dining here again.
Favorite when I visit my son at college! Love the cider doughnut bread pudding for dessert
I was curious about the recent renovations that had taken place at Nola's. It was very cool, featuring a large Chef's Bar. We had a nice dinner with another couple and everything was great. I think their prices have gone up a bit but you get what you pay for.
We loved Nola’s before they renovated, but love it even more now with a new menu and great atmosphere:)
The food was very good however, when I made the reservation, I assumed we would be dining in Nola’s, not the annex . When we arrived, on time, we were informed we would be seated in the annex. Since the restaurant had recently been redecorated and there seemed to be plenty of tables available, we would have preferred to eat in the main restaurant. Also in the past I was able to make special requests using open table, didn’t see that option when I made this reservation.
We split some tapas (yummy crab stuffed shrimp and a tasty artichoke fondue ) between 2 adults and 2 kids. I tucked into pork chop w/brussel sprouts special, wife had the spicy pork w/pappardelle, kid 1 had the steak w/house-made sauce and kid 2 had the shrimp chorizo w/linguine . We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, drinks and dessert. We don't eat out very often so we like to make each meal count. Nola's continues to be a favorite for us!
Sophie was amazing! Food is always beautiful & creative
Great meal. We all loved our dishes and shared everything because it was all so good. The specials were all perfect ... go quickly for the donut pudding. Once the cider mill closes they take the donut pudding off the menu.
Burrata, meatballs,
Goat cheese app and green goddess
Salad all delish. Good size portion. Both wines were wonderful. Service was friendly and very informative but could have been faster. Drinks took a long time to come and I could see them sitting on the bar. Our food was supposed to be paced and it all came at once. Other than those 2 minor Details would highly reco.
We had a wonderful experience at Nola’s. The food and drinks were awesome, the new renovations are beautiful, and the service was great despite it being a busy Friday night. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice date night or just a nice dinner!
We live in Clinton and have seen Nola’s go through changes over the years. When we first went the food was not nearly as good as it is now.
The soups are always good. I am a skeptic. I would now try any soup that they would dare to make.
The appetizers delicious. Entrees top notch. Prices have gone up but so has popularity with the restaurant. It is hands down the best restaurant in Clinton.
Our out of town guests rave about the food and the ambience. These are people who are used to big city offerings. We ate the Chef’s bar this last time. The chef’s bar was a good change from what we usually do. He made an appetizer on the house for us that was very tasty.
We have had the same servers over the years and they have stepped up to the new Nola’s image. The service is very attentive.
I have no complaints and only praises. My only concern is that now I will have to make a reservation because they are very popular.
Our experience at Nola's is always amazing...they never disappoint! We were seated promptly upon arrival and our meal was fantastic. If you are looking for a great dining experience, I recommend taking the short drive to Clinton to check them out.
All of the food we ordered came out lukewarm. I feel the menu lacked enough options to choose from.
We found that the new lay-out, service, menu selections and price all met or exceeded expectations. Typically we go to Nola's two or three times a year, and find it very reliable and convenient.
Been coming to Nola’s for years. The food is always great and the atmosphere even better. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience.
A gem of a restaurant in a small town, Nola's might be the only place to go for a nice date. Although the food is a bit more expensive than I would have liked to pay, it's not very unreasonable, and the food is delicious. The atmosphere fits well with the type of restaurant that Nola's is going for, but the music sometimes ruined the ambiance. Also, it's a bit crowded, so if there's one loud group, then the entire room can hear them.
Sitting at the Chef’s Bar is a treat, I had a great time and the food was amazing
Visiting from out of town and was excited to check this place out. Waitress was great - super attentive and helpful. Our meals were just okay but dessert was delicious. Interesting drink choices. We did like the space and the bar was busy.
We always enjoy dining at Nola's. Chicken Nola and Steak Nicholas are always great as are most of the fish specials. The Short Rib Lasagna that was recently added is also extremely good, albeit very rich. We miss the small salad that used to be on the menu, though. And, although we love the look of the remodeled dining room, it is now almost impossible to carry on a conversation, even in the most "quiet" front table for four that we occupied last Friday. We had to shout to each other to be heard over the din. Some sound deadening additions are definitely needed.
As always, Sophie's attention and service was perfect.
Lunch was chaotic in the small Annex space with so many people coming in and out and crawling over each other. Great food as always, just wished for a less stressful atmosphere.
The chef's bar is a must.
I have been going to Nola's for years. They recently closed for a renovation. The new design is terrific and the menu changes strike the perfect balance between their classics and new innovative dishes.
Second time at Nola's before a volleyball match at Hamilton. We all enjoyed our meals - salmon, fish fry and shrimp bisque. The noise level was a bit high for most of it because of the popular bar seating at our 6:15 reservation time. But, quieted down before we finished. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves.
This restaurant recently renovated their space and menu options. While I'm happy the 'favorite' entrees remain, I also love the concept of small plate sharing. The expanded seating choices (bar and banquette) are also a refreshing addition. While change can be hard and we loved the 'old' Nola's, this new version is the perfect blend of familiar and fresh -- the focus on local producers, beautifully plated food, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails is clearly apparent and very much appreciated.
I was able to bring my husband here for our date night and needless to say, it was amazing! The food was excellent, service was wonderful and so polite.
Pleasant setting, very good food and service. But the blaring music is hard to ignore.
We have been going to Nola's for 4 years and we have never been let down. The menu changes based on the season and what is available but old classics are always available.
