   Wonderful evening for five of us. We all shared tapas style starters and mains following the recommendations of our server who was warm and knowledgeable. Most fun was talking with Julien who guided us through the impressive wine list. Mostly private imports which I hadn't tried before, so a nice wine adventure.

   Repas délicieux! Chaque plat ayant un goût raffiné et complimentaire dans une atmosphère décontractée et chaleureuse. Plats préférés- la truite, les betteraves et le flétan mais le tout était excellent et parfait! Les serveurs étaient attentifs et soucieux de nos allergies. Nolan est un des restaurants préférés à Griffintown

   I had an amazing experience at Nolan. The food was exactly what I was looking for, very fresh and in season. The staff were kind and knew exactly how each dish was prepared… it also doesn’t hurt that they are all very pleasing to look at. Will absolutely be back! 10/10.

   The food was excellent — everything we tried was amazing, except the cavatappi pasta which was just okay. The decor is beautiful and the ambiance is great. However, service was inconsistent, with multiple waiters attending our table and varying levels of attention. Their cocktail menu was unavailable ("between menus"), said they could do any classics but couldn't offer suggestions, which was disappointing. While the wine list is impressive, there are very few affordable options. Not everyone is willing or able to pay $150+ for a single bottle. Also, we weren't allowed to keep our wine or water bottles at the table, leading to empty glasses and delays. Finally, we ordered bread that never came, when asked they told us they were out, only to see it served to another table later. Overall, great food and atmosphere, but the service needs improvement.

   A great experience overall. A fun atmosphere, amazing service, wonderful and friendly staff, and delicious seasonal dishes. On the menu: • Beet: Lonza, Chives Sour cream, Blood Sorrel • Salade blanche: Endives, Radicchio, Manchego, Honeycrisp, King Mushrooms • Cabbage: Ranch, Piperade, Anchovy • Crab: Homemade POM Bread, Tarragon, Quebec Ginger • Striploin (PEI): Forestière Sauce, Potato straws, Persillade • Beef: Honey Mustard, Louis d'Or, Sweet Potatoes • Panna Cotta: Mocha, Greek Yogourt, Oranges Gel • ...and a bunch of delicious, custom made cocktails.
