I went on a date with my honey and we both ended up getting the Spicy Jambalaya with a side of corn bread. We also shared their delicious Nola's hurricane and for desert we shared their bread pudding. Everything was on point and very tasty. I highly recommend this place!! Love love their food.
Loved the food and the ambiance. Everything was great!
Chicken and waffles is excellent value, in contrast to most other places in Palo Alto. Nola is where French-styled restaurants intersect with the strange concept that entrees should be filling.
My fav place to take out of town people! Always delicious and a good atmosphere
Really good food and great ambiance.
Great and unique food!
It was truly a fabulous Valentines Day. Thank you!!!
Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and my wife on a busy evening. The food was excellent, the ambiance is fantastic, and vibe is a delightful hint of "NOLA"
Excellent food. Slow service on Valentines Day
Birthday on Valentine’s Day
great spot, they offer seating in one of the two different bars or a semi covered patio, good place to take someone to impress them. Food is unreal good.
The skirt steak is a must have. Some parts of the restaurant were very noisy and the hostesses seemed to be a bit confused an unprofessional- said our table was ready then left us standing at the podium, drinks in hand, while they seated others for over 5 minutes. Didn't address us during this time (why call us away from the bar to say our table is ready?) They seemed very young, could use some customer service guidance.
Great starters and lots of options for vegetarians in small plates. Great veg jambalaya too. Enjoyed cocktails—great for a girls night out.
Shared tacos, taquitos, and jambalaya. Had to try the beinets. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was also pleasant.
Service and food is always incredible!
My first time visiting...Great food and atmosphere before a basketball game. We ate a lot!!! Planning to revisit
The food was good as always. The service was a guy running a script. He basically told us what food we have to have and what drinks we needed to have and didn't listen when we disagreed. The portions were small for the prices and we were more or less ignored in a room with no one else.
I've only been twice, but I will continue to come back. The food taste like real New Orleans-style food. We had a mishap with them not find any my reservation on my birthday, we had a mishap with them not finding my reservation on my birthday but they end up accommodating us. I feel like that was good customer service.
All three of us agreed this was the best food we ever had! I literally busted my belt after the meal (that last beignet pushed me over the edge). We can’t wait to go back!
Great place for a get together. Great food and fun atmosphere.
Always the best brunch around
Nola was great! I've been here a few times now and each time I didn't have to wait for my table, the ambience is amazing and the decor was unique. Whether it was for brunch, dinner and a date, it was awesome! I have had the chicken and waffles, jambalaya, mac n cheese crab balls and the blackened salmon BLT. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. My last visit was on 2/2/2018 with my Fiancé and he enjoyed himself as well. We'll definitely be back and it is a place that we would love to take his parents when they come and visit.
Love this place, BUT bring back your cheesy artichoke!!! Also some sort of fruit sauce for the beignets would be nice.
Good food...New Orleans style with great ambience. Got seated on the ground floor next to the fountain...enjoyed the chicken and waffles, and go for the beignettes!!
This was my second time eating at Nola. The food was excellent! Service was great too. I sat at a small two top table and it was pretty loud for a Wednesday evening in late January. Looking forward to going back the next time I'm in that area.
Love the private rooms for a group dinner.
Good food. Needs more vegetarian options.
Noise level is just too loud for me.
The food was okay, not special. The server emphasized that the "regular" was spicy - but we should have gone with the "spicy". Good shrimp, but the food was pretty much non-standout versions of typical New Orleans cuisine.
The service was good, and the staff very friendly.
A unique eatery with extensive drinks menu and flavorful Cajun food. The atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind. We sat in the central dining area and enjoyed the outdoor-market vibe. Definitely on the loud side. The meal was delicious; every dish was executed very well. I look forward to dining here again.
I reserved this restaurant for my birthday dinner at 4 p.m. on Sunday (1/28/2018) and arrived there on time I showed them the open table reservation on my cell phone with my name, and the lady looked at it and let us sit a table by the fountain. We ordered sangria, mini cocktail, gumbo, crab guacamole with chips, and shrimp and grits.
Food was just ok but not that good as I expected.
At night, I received an email from Open Table, and Nola said that we didn’t show up. What??? I took pictures of food today and have receipt. We are so disappointed with their business mind. I cannot give them a good review.
We had a great time, and the food was amazing. My only complaint was it was freezing. There is no physical front door, and for some reason they had the back door open and there was a stiff draft running through the place. Once I requested them to shut the door it was better. Ladies, bring a sweater.
