Nola is a bit of New Orleans located in the historic Ramona Street Building in downtown Palo Alto. Our menu consists of Creole, Cajun, and Latin cuisine. New Orleans favorites, such as hurricanes, fresh oysters, gumbo, seafood jambalaya, and étouffée, are just a few of the classics you will find.
The party stretches out over three floors, with seven different funky dining areas. Nola has one of the largest collections of Southern folk art on the West Coast. Come check out what Fortune magazine voted as "the hottest bar in the Silicon Valley." Welcome to the party--grab a Hurricane, a group of friends, wrap yourself in our mardi gras beads and “Laisser les Bon Temps Rouler!!”

Nice evening, loved the beads, loved the street tacos I had. It gives some california modern twist to NoLa food - the menu includes quinoa and vegan items i've never seen on a New Orleans menu. Only question- why no opentable points for reservations here?

Went here for my birthday a few days ago...cool place. Not stuffy like some restaurants can be.

Good food but way too noisy! It was difficult to hear over the noise level of other diners.

Amazing atmosphere, but the lunch portions keep getting smaller and smaller. I paid $20 for a shrimp po boy and fries that was about 4-5 inches long. Wow! Left feeling hungry and ripped off.

Never a bad meal. The jambalaya was great and the spiked lemonade was just the right touch.

This was our first time trying Nola for brunch and it was terribly disappointing. The Bloody Mary was mediocre, the chicken and waffle was overcooked and awful, the benedict was super salty. The service was also very off. The meals trickled out slowly and it was at least 15 minutes from the time the first meal arrived until the last meal. People wanted to wait until everyone had their food, but the food was getting cold. I don't believe it was the server's fault as she said she was bringing things our as they came up, but the kitchen should be more organized to serve a group together. On a positive note, the beignets were awesome and the napa cabbage salad was excellent. We would not return to Nola for brunch - Town is worth the extra 15 min drive.

As always, NOLA delivers. This is our go-to spot for Saturday or Sunday brunch, with an awesome brunch menu that includes bottomless mimosas or bloody marys, can't go wrong with the menu choice. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich and the grits for side.

This is a favoritr spot for my friends and I to celebrate birthdays every year. I wish there were more chicken dishes available. I love the Warm Napa Cabbage Salad and wish it was available with grilled chicken!

The food here was excellent, and actually spicy if you order it spicy! However, the real star is the ambiance of this place - it feels like you are truly in the streets of NOLA (complete with the upstairs balconies and Mardi Gras beads!).

We went to Nolas' for Easter Brunch and had the BEST TIME. The food was really good, beignets are actually my husband's favorite and they did not disappoint. My Mother was in New Orleans and neighborhoods and loved the Jambalaya for sure and even my almost-vegetarian daughter was impressed with the food. Palo Alto is a great place to be and Nolas' was vibrant, the food was really good, service was excellent and atmosphere fun. I would totally recommend this to anyone out to have a fun meal at any time of day.

We were seated right away in a darling room. The server was charming. Unfortunately our food came out ice cold. By the time someone came around we had eaten most of the meal. The manager kindly comped us our food. I would go again. I think it’s worth a second chance.

We had a wonderful time, great food, great drinks. The server was accommodating and didn’t rush us which I appreciate considering we’re a lively bunch with a small child. I loved the table they chose for us too. Would definitely return and recommend to others :)

Made a reservation for my birthday celebration and requested courtyard seating for 4 people, which obviously didn't happen. The hostess didn't even bother to acknowledge or let us know. Instead, we were shoved in a room upstairs next to a very loud large drunken party. It took about 40 minutes from the time we were seated to the hostess coming to taking our food order. Food is always good, but service ALWAYS a disappointment. Way to ruin a birthday, NOLA!!

I was so disappointed. I organized a birthday dinner for a friend for 9 people, made reservation in advance and on the day we got there and it was closed!!!!
Nobody told me anything, nobody called to let us know and I was perfectly able to booked online!
As you can imagine we had trouble finding a table for 9
I’m so disappointed, they could have called me to let me know, that’s why we make reservations!!

I hadn't been to Nola's in quite a while and it was as good as I remembered, with timely menu updates. The cajun zoodles were fantastic and my date loved the chicken and waffles. I usually have wine, but their cocktail list was too tempting! Service was great!
