Nothing special about this restaurant. We told them that we needed to be out in 90 minutes to make a show but the food was not right and service was slow. The waiter was very polite. I think it was the kitchen. No need to go back. Too many great places near by.

They sat us, and then forgot we were there for a while, so it wasn’t a great start. After that, though, the service was good. The food was very lackluster, except for our kids mac & cheese, which was very yummy. We were seeing a show at the Ahmenson, I probably wouldn’t go there again, unless I couldn’t find anything else.

Amazing customer service! Especially attentive staff. The menu might seem limited, but what we ordered off the menu was excellent. We also had the chefs special which was not on the menu and was prepared exactly as described by our server. It was amazing. We sat in the lounge and where pleased to listen to Rick the piano player, play the classics, and all requests. If you’re looking for a great dinner spot in downtown Los Angeles. This is the place.

NOE always provides an enjoyable evening, with a lively Lounge (the piano player is terrific) , wonderfully attentive service, and generous portions of tasty dishes. Whether for a lingering dinner or quick snacks before the theater, NOE is a friendly and welcoming destination.

The menu is considerably smaller than I remember from a few years ago. The strip steak I ordered was tough and over cooked and overpriced. The street tacos my wife had were good, as was the dessert — the flan cheesecake. The wine was moderately priced. But I had such good memories of how good this restaurant used to be, I was very disappointed.

A restaurant should either be Open or Closed.. not some ugly hybrid. It felt like dining in a meeting room. Noe is generally a nice space but when set up with black tablecloths and a napkin roll, it lacked any kind of ambiance and the wait-staff behaved accordingly. Very dissappointed for an important business dinner.

Will not be revisiting this restaurant. Service/waiter was great but Menu is very limited, from appetizers to main course. In addition to already having a limited menu, 2 items were not available to order Also, part of table under table cloth was broken and hanging on my leg all night. Lastly, main dining room was very cold. Again, the only thing that kept us from leaving after the drinks and app was the waiter, was very attentive.

The restaurant was understaffed for our Saturday night prime time party of six. We had to request and wait for service several times. Due to mistake, three entrees were served and the other three were not until about 15 minutes later. The hotel decor and atmosphere is beautiful. Loved the live piano. California plaza is nice to walk.

All the dishes were pretty good, including an especially good hamburger. But the room is unnecessarily stark and charmless. They could improve the room with a change of lighting and get rid of the concrete floor, among other easy fixes. I don’t know why a hotel such as Omni hasn’t improved the place.

While we are in the back room of Noe (not the room with the bar), it was still extremely noisy. It seems like the carpet had been ripped out and the cement floor caused the sounds to be amplified. My friend ordered a salmon chef or Cobb salad and asked for a roll to accompany it; he was told there were none, nor did they have any bread. Upon my insisting that there must be SOMETHING, the server finally brought some things slices of baguette, for which we were charged. It also took ages to get salt and pepper, which were not on the table. When I asked the server about the Pinot Noir selections, she had nothing to offer and did not ask someone more knowledgeable to help.

Very surprised, no dining room , just a bar with few tables . While having dinner, suddenly a lot of people came standing having drinks and watching TV football. It became so noisy The salmon was good . I would not recommend that restaurant.

We booked for NYE but not the price fixe. Once there we were told that no other food was available in the bar. Later we saw other people being served small dishes (not the prix fixe dinner). The management was strange and rude - about 11 pm she came to the table and basically asked us to leave, saying it looked like we were finished. We went to hear the music which was terrific but I fear the post pandemic management is not what it once was.

Noe Bar at the Omni Los AngelesResponded on January 6, 2023Hi Deborah- It was lovely speaking with you further about your experience. Thank you again for providing the feedback. I am happy to hear that we did accommodate you and your guest to split one pre fixe dinner between the two of you for the inconvenience. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can assist you with in the future. Kind Regards, Kambree

I've been to Noe Bar/Restaurant over the last 5 years and when I returned to the restaurant recently on 12/16/22 everything changed... I guess Covid-19 pandemic changes everything including the quality the food at Noe. I wish I could say nice things about my dinning experience at the restaurant, but I could only say that our waiter was nice.

It was me and my husbands first time at Now restaurant and bar . The food was delicious, our server treated us well and was aware of our table and made sure that everything we got was good. She recommended the dishes and drinks we got and it was 10/10. Unfortunately some of their popular dishes like steak and mash potatoes were discontinued, it was one of the reason we were excited to go , however new dishes are delicious but I wish they would bring some of their old menu back

Used to be a fine restaurant and in back it is still lovely and quiet (front part noisy!). Food is just bar food small choice and pretty fatty or greasy. Service was rushed without being personal or speedy (an unpleasant paradoxa). this is the second time this year I've tried it, thought it might have gotten some sheen back by now, but no. Definitely worth passing by.

Our only frustration was that we reserved an outside table and were told when we arrived that one was not available due to a conference taking up the space. We needed to sit at a low couch and hunch over to eat our food since we weren't able to sit a regular sized outside table.
