Noe is no longer a real restaurant. It's just a hotel bar with a menu.
It's been a few years since we've eaten there, so we were unaware of the change.
Once upon a time, Noe was one of the best restaurants in downtown L.A. for pre-theater dining.
We'll be trying somewhere else next time we go to the Music Center.
Delicious brunch. But the acoustics don’t protect you from people who are screaming and yelling.
Overall it was a good experience. We had a reservation but when we arrived nobody was helping us. There was a sign to wait here to be seated. One man just kept staring at us. Eventually we went to the bartender and asked if someone could help us. We arrived on time, meaning early some minutes before our reservation, and then were not seated until past our reservation. Our server wasn’t the best, took long to serve us and was shocked that I wanted a second drink, literally “You want one too?! You want a second drink?!” I didn’t get why my date could but it was surprising I wanted one too.. The food was yummy! Had salmon salad and ribeye. The menu has changed though, a month ago on Yelp shows a beet salad which we wanted, but wasn’t on the menu. This place might have a varying menu though, I’m uncertain. Ambiance was quiet. We got to sit where we preferred. The hostess was also nice. Overall 4/5.
The food was better than average, and the service was good.
We had visited Noe years ago and loved the restaurant! At that time, it was a much different place than today, which is not to say it was terrible. However, we were looking for a quiet dinner for my wife's birthday, and this was definitely not the place to go on a Saturday evening. There are concerts held adjacent to the outdoor dining on Saturdays, which makes having a conversation difficult.
House margaritas way too sweet
Absolutely terrible. The food was awful, the service was terrible and the entire hotel is ghetto. No one was wearing masks inside and outside the hotel and restaurant. Never going back
Our waitress was the absolute best. They were understaffed and she was working many tables and still managed to give the best service we could ask for.
We had an awesome Father’s Day brunch. The space and location are beautiful and staff was great.
Great restaurant and service with very friendly staff! Loved the outdoor seating with spacious booths and plenty of space between seating areas. Very pleasant and romantic with outdoor fire pits and view of the plaza.
Mother’s Day brunch was terrific. Loved ordering food and someone brought it to us on plates instead of inside a plastic bag. They even removed the plates instead of our throwing the remains in the trash. I can get accustomed to in person dining again.
Mother’s Day dinner
My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary last weekend and we had such a great time. We were given a dessert and drinks on the house. Everyone made us feel welcomed and special
When making my reservations, I thought I was making reservations to the restaurant. Not the bar.
Also, we just walked in no one greeted us. The menu was different.
the website was very different from what I saw.
All in all it was okay. Thank you.
It wasn't what I expected, but that could be because of Covid Protocols. The main menu wasn't available, but the bar food was okay and my Old Fashioned cocktail was excellent, thank you bartender! All the drinks that my date and I had were really good. The outside bar, fire pits and downtown skyline created a cool setting. I'd go back for the cocktails and location.
I really enjoyed the ribeye tender and perfectly cooked.
The filet mignon was superb and even though it was their last Saturday open because of the quarantine-every single staff member went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience and the most delectable food!
I purchased a Groupon that’s why I was here. The Ahi tartare was excellent! That’s saying a lot since I live in Hawaii & know my ahi. The bolognese was unimpressive. The sauce & noodles was “nothing to write home about.” It tasted like something from home out of a box & jar. I’ve had really good bolognese at other places in the past . The ricotta cheesecake was also “ok” but again not exceptional. My friends filet looked good. If I lived here, more than likely I would not return.
We’ve dined at the restaurant many times. The service seemed a bit off this time. We asked for small plates to split dessert and never got them, glasses ran dry for water and not sure that the waiter ever checked in to see how we were doing once the food arrived. Ladies restroom had hand towels on the floor at the entry. There was no trash can inside and ladies probably didn’t want to touch the door handle after their washing hands and trash inside was overflowing. Perhaps they were short handed??
Food was excellent. Love the bouillabaisse!
Great food and service, very intimate. only complaint the pianist started playing later on in the night after our dinner.
It was our first time going & what better time then my husbands birthday. They gave us amazing service the food was amazing.
Very nice ambience
One of our favorite restaurants
We had an amazing experience.... our waiter Akli was very knowledgeable and very attentive. Food was exquisite. We will definetly be back!
Just one of the best restaurant experiences ever. Would come back anytime and infect coming back in two weeks
Awesome service and ambience!! Thank you!!
It’s a great intimate place to eat, service is great, and food is delicious, a good place to go on a first date and make a great impression.
Wait staff was TREMENDOUS. The photos of the restaurant online are a bit deceiving - it is not really a rooftop setting - but the food is tastey, the drinks great, and the service TREMENDOUS. (I said that already)
Food at Noe is exceptional. I recommend the Ahi tuna starter and Ribeye entre. Delicious! Service was spectacular. Our charming French waiter was very attentive, and even brought us an extra glass of champagne. 🥂
Everything was amazing! They made our anniversary so special and I only wished I’d had more cash on me to tip!
Ate early (5:30 pm) before walking to show at Ahmanson. Very quite and quick. Pleasant service. Food excellent.
All round good experience. Not cheap but we knew that of course. Did come to LA to go to Denny's.
Food was absolutely disgusting
All meat came out rare, even the lamb
Don’t understand how this place has customers
We went there for their Valentines Special. The food was good, but a little overpriced. Overall it was good and we’d recommend it.
Valentines day. Menu was great and food was great.
Disappointed the hostess did not add my OpenTable points. Still trying to deal with that since February 13, 2020.. Hope someone can help me with this
Made it here before the COVID shutdown and glad we did! Had a Groupon which made it an even better value. Food and service were great, but the ambiance in the dining area was sub-par for a downtown hotel. Bar and outdoor at patio atmosphere were welcoming so was disappointed when entered dining area. Parking was easy and no problem with valet and validation.
Good food, great service, and a nice ambience!
The food was great. I had asked for a special request that was not done but everything else was good.
Birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day together
