The restaurant was having work done and they relocated to the hotel cafe. No ambiance. Not what I was expecting. Over priced drinks.
Amazing! Quiet and spacious restaurant with kind staff and live jazz piano performance. I love this kind of place. It was a gem!
Well done esp food, one very annoying issue, music way too loud
friendly staff, excellent food and service (although second course of meal was delayed little bit)
the service was top notch the menu was ok it said crab benedict on menu but it was pork all pork sausage pork bacon which we dont eat i have had better buffets but the servers were awesome i thought they would have a pianist like the website but no christmas music with a football game that was disappointing
Great food, great staff, strong mimosas. If they made it a weekly thing I’d be there ever week!
We had a lovely table overlooking the pool area, and the service was great. We loved our salmon salads, too. Four drinks and 2 salmon salads came to about $100., which seems a little high, but the location was very convenient to the Disney Concert Hall and that's what made it worthwhile.
Never has converted back to a restaurant even though restaurant menu still listed. Mostly bar food and worse, bar mentality. Taking a drink order and kept trying to get the dinner order. Coming over often but not when drinks were empty. Never going back.
We were looking forward to trying Noe Bar before a concert at the Music Center downtown. We selected it because of its proximity to Disney Hall. When we arrived we were unable to enter the building..all the entrances on Grand Ave were locked and there was no information posted on the doors where to access the building if you were not a guest of the hotel. As we had concert tickets we had no time to waste searching for a way to get in and had to go elsewhere where we wouldn't risk being late for the show. I wish they would have emailed instructions when they asked me to confirm the reservation.
We are still only eating outside so sat at Noe’s Bar outside. We were the only ones and it was absolutely lovely. I enjoyed my hamburger and fries very much with a glass of wine. Our waitress, Danielle couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Our wish it was her command
Delightful restaurant for a casual dinner or an easy dinner before or after the theater
Miguel Basquez, a long time employee at the Noe bar is the heart and soul of the place. He is friendly, takes very special care of everyone and is unfailingly cheerful. He is one of the reasons we have remained loyal to the Omni. The other reason is Rick the piano player - so
Glad he is back on weekends. We hope he will be back in the week soon! He makes the bar such an unusual wonderful place.
The bar seating was a little uncomfortable. We await returning to the restaurant area where the seating is nice and the menu has more dining options.
I loved it such a great experience. Food came out in a timely fashion . Very great service . Definitely will be there again .
Service, ambience very good. Salmon salad prepared as directed and well done. Yellowtails sashimi was not as fresh as expected.
my friend and i sat in the restaurant side, away from noisy bar, and enjoyed terrific bar menu and great service.
No one at the host stand to check us in. Service was SUPER SLOW and not busy AT ALL (2-3 couples at other tables). Food was nothing to write home about. But in a late night pinch it will do. Pros: open late, no crowd. Cons: slow service and inattentive staff.
Quiet, delicious, lovely service
The brunch was excellent especially the crabcake eggs benedict. I would recommend this brunch to anyone who has a good appetite. The cost was what would be expected when dining at a really good restaurant in a hotel.
The highlight has to be the vegan crabcakes! I have never had crabcakes that good. Super happy that they had some decent vegan options and were accommodating even though they were overbooked. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner. Parking is pretty convenient with the valet service and the hotel itself is very beautiful. Would highly recommend.
We won’t be going back. This used to be an excellent restaurant - perfect for dining before events at the Music Center or Disney. No longer - it’s almost as if management is trying to deter people not staying at the hotel from dining there. The main entry points from the Music Center are locked - although the signage indicates those doors are open until 9 PM. When you arrive at the restaurant after a circuitous path, there is no one to greet you - either at the entry point or further inside the hotel proper. The menu is uninteresting (it used to be a good one), and the food served ordinary at best. Service is not good - we had to wait 45 minutes following a simple order from a simple menu, only to find that two different waitstaff brought the appetizers and the main courses virtually simultaneously. We were even asked on being seated to provide a credit card up front - highly unusual and highly unprofessional - which we refused to do. The Manager was apologetic, saying that they were operating on a limited basis (the actual dining room was not open - only seating in the bar area) and would improve. Maybe they will (and I hope they do, as it is convenient), but it will take a number of enthusiastic reviews to get us to chance it. We generally invite people to the Music Center, with dinner prior. This time it was mercifully only the two of us. If we had guests, in addition to the bad experience we had, embarrassment at taking people there would have been an additional problem
Confused host staff. No server came, we had to ask. Random servers came one at a time to take and deliver orders. Party next to us was extremely loud, playing music, and encroached on my table during a date. We had to pick up and move the table ourselves. Good is good. Elevators weren’t working and stairs were roped off. Odd place and experience.
Noe is no longer a real restaurant. It's just a hotel bar with a menu.
It's been a few years since we've eaten there, so we were unaware of the change.
Once upon a time, Noe was one of the best restaurants in downtown L.A. for pre-theater dining.
We'll be trying somewhere else next time we go to the Music Center.
Delicious brunch. But the acoustics don’t protect you from people who are screaming and yelling.
Overall it was a good experience. We had a reservation but when we arrived nobody was helping us. There was a sign to wait here to be seated. One man just kept staring at us. Eventually we went to the bartender and asked if someone could help us. We arrived on time, meaning early some minutes before our reservation, and then were not seated until past our reservation. Our server wasn’t the best, took long to serve us and was shocked that I wanted a second drink, literally “You want one too?! You want a second drink?!” I didn’t get why my date could but it was surprising I wanted one too.. the server also insulted my date telling him he looked so tired, we don’t know where it came from but it was an uncomfortable comment that she repeated a couple times. The food was good. Had salmon salad and ribeye. The menu has changed though, a month ago on Yelp shows a beet salad which we wanted, but wasn’t on the menu. This place might have a varying menu though, I’m uncertain. Ambiance was quiet. We got to sit where we preferred. The hostess was also nice.
The food was better than average, and the service was good.
We had visited Noe years ago and loved the restaurant! At that time, it was a much different place than today, which is not to say it was terrible. However, we were looking for a quiet dinner for my wife's birthday, and this was definitely not the place to go on a Saturday evening. There are concerts held adjacent to the outdoor dining on Saturdays, which makes having a conversation difficult.
House margaritas way too sweet
Absolutely terrible. The food was awful, the service was terrible and the entire hotel is ghetto. No one was wearing masks inside and outside the hotel and restaurant. Never going back
Our waitress was the absolute best. They were understaffed and she was working many tables and still managed to give the best service we could ask for.
Went out for a date was great
We had an awesome Father’s Day brunch. The space and location are beautiful and staff was great.
Great restaurant and service with very friendly staff! Loved the outdoor seating with spacious booths and plenty of space between seating areas. Very pleasant and romantic with outdoor fire pits and view of the plaza.
Mother’s Day brunch was terrific. Loved ordering food and someone brought it to us on plates instead of inside a plastic bag. They even removed the plates instead of our throwing the remains in the trash. I can get accustomed to in person dining again.
Mother’s Day dinner
We were disappointed and will not be returning. We ordered most of the items listed on the (extremely limited) menu and were underwhelmed by all of them. The service was painfully slow, with the sole server disappearing for long periods of time and being difficult to track down (despite a distinct lack of other patrons). While prices here seemed somewhat reasonable at first glance, it was actually way overpriced considering the poor quality of food and service.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary last weekend and we had such a great time. We were given a dessert and drinks on the house. Everyone made us feel welcomed and special
When making my reservations, I thought I was making reservations to the restaurant. Not the bar.
Also, we just walked in no one greeted us. The menu was different.
the website was very different from what I saw.
All in all it was okay. Thank you.
It wasn't what I expected, but that could be because of Covid Protocols. The main menu wasn't available, but the bar food was okay and my Old Fashioned cocktail was excellent, thank you bartender! All the drinks that my date and I had were really good. The outside bar, fire pits and downtown skyline created a cool setting. I'd go back for the cocktails and location.
I really enjoyed the ribeye tender and perfectly cooked.
