Problematic. Very limited access, and lack of clarity how to get there. Tiny table (As you would expect at a bar) and limited menu. But it worked out.

While we are in the back room of Noe (not the room with the bar), it was still extremely noisy. It seems like the carpet had been ripped out and the cement floor caused the sounds to be amplified. My friend ordered a salmon chef or Cobb salad and asked for a roll to accompany it; he was told there were none, nor did they have any bread. Upon my insisting that there must be SOMETHING, the server finally brought some things slices of baguette, for which we were charged. It also took ages to get salt and pepper, which were not on the table. When I asked the server about the Pinot Noir selections, she had nothing to offer and did not ask someone more knowledgeable to help.

Very surprised, no dining room , just a bar with few tables . While having dinner, suddenly a lot of people came standing having drinks and watching TV football. It became so noisy The salmon was good . I would not recommend that restaurant.

We booked for NYE but not the price fixe. Once there we were told that no other food was available in the bar. Later we saw other people being served small dishes (not the prix fixe dinner). The management was strange and rude - about 11 pm she came to the table and basically asked us to leave, saying it looked like we were finished. We went to hear the music which was terrific but I fear the post pandemic management is not what it once was.

Noe Bar at the Omni Los AngelesResponded on January 6, 2023Hi Deborah- It was lovely speaking with you further about your experience. Thank you again for providing the feedback. I am happy to hear that we did accommodate you and your guest to split one pre fixe dinner between the two of you for the inconvenience. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can assist you with in the future. Kind Regards, Kambree

I've been to Noe Bar/Restaurant over the last 5 years and when I returned to the restaurant recently on 12/16/22 everything changed... I guess Covid-19 pandemic changes everything including the quality the food at Noe. I wish I could say nice things about my dinning experience at the restaurant, but I could only say that our waiter was nice.

It was me and my husbands first time at Now restaurant and bar . The food was delicious, our server treated us well and was aware of our table and made sure that everything we got was good. She recommended the dishes and drinks we got and it was 10/10. Unfortunately some of their popular dishes like steak and mash potatoes were discontinued, it was one of the reason we were excited to go , however new dishes are delicious but I wish they would bring some of their old menu back

Used to be a fine restaurant and in back it is still lovely and quiet (front part noisy!). Food is just bar food small choice and pretty fatty or greasy. Service was rushed without being personal or speedy (an unpleasant paradoxa). this is the second time this year I've tried it, thought it might have gotten some sheen back by now, but no. Definitely worth passing by.

Our only frustration was that we reserved an outside table and were told when we arrived that one was not available due to a conference taking up the space. We needed to sit at a low couch and hunch over to eat our food since we weren't able to sit a regular sized outside table.

This is NOT NOE of pre pandemic. I suggest they just have bar service and close the restaurant. It is not inviting to see a closed indoor restaurant and a patio area with little attraction. The menu was SAD.. Very hard to think of an appetizer and a main course. The waiter was given way too much space to cover. He really did more than 10K steps. And, then outdoors somewhere close was an outdoor concert..

For a restaurant that advertises itself online as an upscale Japanese inspired joint, there were a disappointingly low presence of such cultural influence and the menu was rather casual as well. The environment significantly outclasses the menu and my +1 and I got stares from other diners for coming in proper attire for upscale dining while they were all lounging about in their T-Shirts. Skipping past this the runner clearly never knew what he was doing bringing food outside to the wrong tables, getting lost, and parking between tables not sure what to give to whom practically sweating over the server tray. Said runner would also state they forget to bring a knife for our food and would disappear never to be seen again. As an individual with Scoliosis the far leaning curved chairs were incredibly uncomfortable as I was being given the same amount of back support as a damn bar stool. To top it all of my guest's burger was as plane as all get out, she ordered an upgrade of Garlic Parsley fries and received a regular order with just enough grated garlic on top to flavor all of 3 individual fries, and my New York Strip didn't just have almost no seasoning apart from 2 pinches of black pepper, but it had no sear whatsoever, leaving me robbed and deprived of arguably the best part of any cut of beef (THE TEXTURE CONTRAST!) If I had my chef coat I had every bit of mind to present my Food Handler's and cook the damn thing myself. Why even ask a guest what their special occasion is when they book a reservation if you don't congratulate them on their anniversary? This wasn't dinner, this was amateur hour. Terrible from start to finish.

The Mac & cheese was good but the steak frite was flavorless, the fries weren’t cooked well and the bread of the impossible burger was a bit dry. Overall, the food was a disappointment and overpriced for the quality. Wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant.

After getting reservations for outdoor seating we were told upon arrival that it was no longer available. There was a group of (20) people who supposedly "booked at last minute...either last night or this morning." Umm...huh? Our reservations were set over a month ago. "Well we tried to call you yesterday or this morning, I don't know." LIE. When pressed on it, the guy changed the subject. He said either we all eat indoors or wait 90 minutes for an outdoor seat. I told him that was totally unworkable. He relented and seated us outside. The group of '20' was probably more like 12, first of all. Second, they were in a standing room area for drinks, NOT at the tables. There were about six COMPLETELY EMPTY tables in our area when we sat down. After calming down we settled in for a nice Birthday meal. It was fair to good and not worth the hassle of driving downtown at rush hour. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they were staying in the hotel. It's not even worth crossing the street for. Oh, the service was a bit slow, but the server was a nice guy and we appreciated him.

We went there before the theater. Noe restaurant is closed. So one is put in the bar area. The menu is very limited. The problem is that Noe’s website still shows the old restaurant menu. The website also fails to mention that the restaurant does not exists anymore. The experience was a disappointment because we expected the old Noe restaurant.

I'm only rating the food as poor because we didn't have food - we were only at the bar for drinks - but OpenTable doesn't account for that and is making me rate food I didn't eat.
