Any trip to Nobu is always one we look forward to. This time the four of us chose to go the Omakase route and let the night unfold. Every course was an adventure, we tried new items, and the stunning whole Snapper was a showstopping dish. En expensive evening, but worth every penny. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy dining outdoors at Nobu Scottsdale.
Food was great as always. Be sure to ask about specials/off menu items
The plates are small and expensive. The staff is mindful and are will to explain anything on the menu.
I’ve been to Nobu around the USA and the world. First went to Nobu in NYC in the late 90s. This was my first visit to the Scottsdale location. Beautiful restaurant, excellent attentive staff and the food was perfect. My only small complaint was there was a lull of twenty minutes in the middle of my service with no new food or drinks.
Rushed, rude service.
We really enjoyed Nobu!
The restaurant was lovely and clean, the music was great, the staff and service was attentive, and most of the all the food was delicious.
I look forward to our next visit to Nobu.
The venue is BEAUTIFUL, the food yummy, but the service was literally worse than you can imagine. It took us 45 mins to get the first drink (and that was after I went to the hostess station to see if she could locate our waiter). We didn’t get the food we ordered and it was so beyond late that we just stopped caring. In the end this was a 3 hour birthday dinner that we left hungry. And it still cost us almost $500!!
The receptionist staff was unbelievably rude upon check in. Our service was very slow all night. Drinks took 35 minutes to get to our table. Sushi rolls were over an hour.
Went here for a girls trip and it couldn’t have been better. The food was insane good and the service was excellent.
Accidentally was running 20 minutes late for a 6pm booking and didn’t get a chance to call in. When we arrived we were advised to please call in as they give up the table 10 mins after the booking. That being said, it was my birthday and a party of 2 on the patio, and they were able to accommodate us if we could be finished dining by 8pm (thanks again!). Awesome mood on the outdoor patio. Sat in a cool low table next to my boyfriend (table was wobbly but adjusted by wait staff promptly). We enjoyed a variety of good dishes and a couple of the refreshing alcoholic drinks. Weather was perfect. Last drink and dish did take awhile to come out but both were super tasty. We also were not rushed out at 8! It was more than enough time for us to enjoy. Had a great time. Will be back 👍🏽
The food was very good and everyone had a nice time. The service did get slow at the end of our stay however. The reason that I gave 4 stars for value was the expense. Overall, a great evening and much appreciated.
Beautiful restaurant with exceptional food.
Service was friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend going with others to sample more dishes, very creative.
Everything was amazing! The Monkfish Pate with Caviar was the bees knees! The Black Cod was a heavenly dish that melts in the mouth. I am hungry just talking about it.
It was our Anniversary... Let's try Nobu! Exciting and Fun! The atmosphere was great. Service was great. I am not a big eater but was disappointed in the size of the rolls. They were very small and you could barely taste the amazing fish. I would recommend ordering the plates that come family style. Overall the place is a great place with great food.
It was my daughter’s Birthday. Service and experience were great! Was surprised they charged for valet and for a celebratory dessert.
Food was great as always but it’s more about experience. The small plates are a bit maddening when you are hungry.
Drinks were not outstanding. Didn’t like the sake martini or their daiquiri. The Sidecar was a solid drink and my wife enjoyed the pineapple martini.
Overall we had a great time. We went to Nobu in Vegas a good 10 years ago and haven’t been back. Feel the same about this trip. $500 for a lot of really good appetizers is a tough sell.
It was great the food is always amazing.
The food was magnificent however the service was not and may play a factor in making reservations in the future
The absolute worst customer service, waited 40 minutes for drinks 20 minutes for a spook to have with my miso soup he kept blaming it on the kitchen. Worst experience ever.
Food and drinks were delicious! Service was very slow though.
Had a great time. Food tasted so good. The servers were so knowledgable and welcoming.
Great ambiance... good service... food value split ... sushi fantastic ... $26 for a spinach salad ridiculous! My fault didn’t see price . Hollywood prices in the Desert !
Service was horrible.
Everything was outstanding. Incredible cocktails and we did the tasting menu, answered a few questions and the waiter brought dishes out based on our conversation- each meal was phenomenal. I absolutely love this restaurant
We arrived at 5:45 for our reservation. We then ordered drinks and appetizers and the waiter was to return to get our entree orders when the starters arrived. It wasn't until our appetizers were finished 30 min later when the waiter arrived to take our entree orders, lobster with a garlic saucer for my dining partner and sushi for myself. The lobster arrived 45 minutes after the order was taken for my dinner partner..... then the sushi arrived 45 minutes after that. Of course my partner finished her dish and then we waited patiently for my food to arrive. This service was completely surprising for any fine dining establishment.
The food is amazing but the portions are on the smaller side. I ordered three roles and a hot plate to split with my boyfriend. The service was also not very attentive for the price you are paying.
The food is amazing, service is spectacular. Next time I would do the “experience” - it would force us to try something we maybe wouldn’t try. It is truly an experience so if you want to order your steak and potatoes - this wouldn’t be your best option. Thanks for a great birthday!
Me and my bf went here for the first time. It is not a cheap meal but let me tell you all very well worth it! We are huge critics on dining out and the type of service especially during these times because the last thing you want is people to not return. The staff was amazing always on top of everything and great attitudes and like I mentioned the food and drinks were AMAZING!
It’s a very popular restaurant. The kitchen was probably slammed. The timing on food delivery was off.
Food was pricy and portions were small to modest. Ordered the cauliflower with jalapeño. It had a nice singe but I couldn’t taste the jalapeño. My Sea Bass had quite a bit of oil in it. The eggplant was delicious and so were the peppers we ordered (I asked for a second order). My husband Spicy Crab with Cream sauce was good but small.
The wine list is very good! The decor is modern and open concept. On a busy night it was loud. But great for people watching.
Our children want to check it out but we’ll wait until summer when it’s slower.
Not a great experience. Food was not great for value. Service and decor were poor. Bringing out food separately is a huge downfall! Other Nobu locations out perform the Phoenix location 100%. Will not return to this location!
Waiter was in friendly and seemed put out.
Great food as always!
Wonderful food and service!, A bit pricey, but well worth it.
Nobu is a wonderful restaurant. I have been to many of the other locations but this was my first time in Scottsdale. Terrific menu with a vast number of fish, sushi oriented dishes. There is something for everyone. The service is amazing. The entire restaurant works as a team and everyone is very knowledgeable the menu. They play fun music so it may not be the best spot if you are trying to have a super deep conversation. The decor is stark...that is just the look but its very well done.
I will be back.
It took a full 2 hours to eat. Wait time for our first drink was at least 15-20 minutes. Wait time between each plate that was served was 15-20 minutes. This was our first time there so I don’t know if this is common for the restaurant or if they were understaffed. For the prices they charge, it was not a good value.
Food and service were excellent! Was a little loud, but that’s because we are getting older and don’t hear as well as we used to.
NOBU is very expensive but it's always consistently very good. They were slammed so service was great but a little slow at times from the kitchen.
Fantastic food and great service!
