Nobu - London
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.
Very noisy, food was ok, waiters were not very friendly and my husband and sons were stomach sick next day.
Had the omakase, food was excellent and service was outstanding. The discussion with the server regarding the meal could’ve been better and more information wouldn’t have hurt—ingredient sourcing and flavour blending. The waiting staff were excellent and I would 100% recommended Nobu.
Arrived for a 2.30 lunch reservation to be told we should order quickly as the kitchen was closing at 3.00. Place completely emptied out and the overall vibe was that we were an inconvenience to the wait staff who hovered around as if they wanted us leave so they could finish a shift. Ambience beyond a disappointment. Food was fine but as per the above we didn’t really enjoy the overall experience at all as we were made to feel like we shouldn’t be there at that time even though the restaurant takes reservations for these times. This restaurants reputation and pricing does not reflect our less than satisfactory experience at all.
Food was exceptional
As usual, excellent sushi and service! Definitely recommend Nobu.
Bella sala al primo piano un po’ anonima, tempura mediocre e servizio di routine
Great staff and food but completely overpriced for the service and food you actually receive.
Was fabulous, great food, excellent wine. Highly recommended.
Impeccable service. Amazing food. Expensive but worth it for the food and experience especially for a special occasion. Loved it.
Food and service is always great here. It was a little noisy, but we suspect that this was due to the New Years Day recovery. Also, while service was good that might have been slightly understaffed on this particular New Years Day.
Outstanding food and service as usual. Cater for fussy eaters!
New Years was great thank you everyone had such a good night
Was very good
Fantastic evening. Great service very friendly and helpful with menu and wine choice. Nice relaxed atmosphere we could take our time and order food as we went along. Quality was wonderful enjoyed every morsel we had. Great start to New Year
Amazing meal and fantastic staff
Excellent service and good quality meals. Overrated, especially wines.
Very disappointing, we were expecting much more. The restaurant seemed like it had just been squashed onto a mezzanine floor, so low ceilings, there was little or poor decoration, and therefore lacking in ambiance. The food was good but not amazing, however the service was excellent. We will not be returning there on our next visit to London.
Very expensive relatively - food all excellent - very busy so service suffered - we described it as “pizza express for the super wealthy “ .. we love pizza express
Excelent food and service. Everything was great.
Rock shrimp is not what it used to be ... and service wasn't the greatest... they were rushing you to eat quick !!
The black cod miso and sea bass were fabulous. My 4th different Nobu on 3 continents and I am looking forward to continuing the pilgrimage.
We’ve been to Nobu many times and always go back because of the phenomenal food. Sadly the food lacked flavour and invention. The salads both tasted the same and the rest of the food- the fish and rock shrimp were sadly bland. However, I will say the service was charming and the waiters who served us were incredibly kind and patient with our three year old son.
Excellent food but it is very expensive sushi is perfecr
Excellent food and service. A bit noisy
Waitress wasn’t very friendly. Food was great. Ambiance is very basic.
Lovely place as always. Staff very helpful and friendly. Happy to go back again soon.
Very buzzing...ordered sparkling cold water and they brought natural warm, we ordered two miso soup , never arrived, the White wine by Glass that i ask for was served at wrong temperature (too warm ) and i don't saw the bottle.
Only had farmed fish which I don’t even eat in my own home, let alone pay for in a “top” restaurant. Servers reached over me many times. Noise level was not pleasant. Overall, I have lost my appetite for Nobu.
It is expensive but it’s probably the best sushi in London. Servus was very Good and attentive too.
I strongly recommend you remove the chicken wings from your menue. At least 60% fat and skin. Worst I have ever had. The chicken tacos were blunt and dry unlike the salmon Tacos that were excellent. The quality of the tuna used in the tuna tataki was average. The rest was good. I expected more from a restaurant like Nobu.
Ottima cena da sempre tra i Nobu il mio preferito.
Excellent consistent food.
great view of the park at lunch
Service not bad - waiters seem to be given tables and if by chance they are busy other waiters don't help.
Disappointing - service was poor - looks tired and the staff weren’t special in any way
It was great!
Thoroughly disappointing, pretentious, overpriced, no atmosphere. awful service - do NOT let the waiters 'help' design your menu. Will NEVER ever go back.
Atmosphere is spot on, beautifully lit restaurant with a nice level of noice. Food and Wine were beautiful and presentation was second to none. Black Cod Miso is absolutely amazing.
