Ocean 9 Sushi
Awesome from start to finish. Great suggestions by our server.
Food was good, limited selection in wines had us choosing a more expensive one. Overall sushi tasted good, especially the salmon. Wasn’t too impressed with the toro tuna.
I wish it had been clear that there is not a menu to order from. The food was great, but the service was lacking and the prices are high.
The server was great! Every dish was presented very well with a story or introduction. Great experience
Food was horrible.
The food was really great. Our waiter was extremely helpful and helped us choose dishes and cocktail that matched our tastes. The restaurant is louder than I like, but it’s a personal preference. You can still have a conversation
All around spectacular!! The flavors were amazing! Best sushi my wife and I have ever had. Unforgettable evening!
Really odd waiter insisting on ordering for us. Had to demand menu after two missteps. One piece of sushi wasn’t properly cleaned and still had scales on it. Strange experience for a Nobu.
The staff and service provided was exceptional!
It was fabulous, and it was much easier to get a reservation since it is off the strip (but still very easy to access).
The staff, the food and the ambiance were amazing. Food is absolutely top quality.
Great experience at the "smaller" Las Vegas Nobu. Much more intimate.
It was our first time fine dining at Nobu, and our server Joey gave us the best experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal courses from start to finish and will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in Vegas. We would highly recommend Nobu to anyone who enjoys quality Japanese cuisine!
I made these reservations months before my trip to Vegas knowing this was meal/experience I have wanted forever. My expectations were high and I could not have been more disappointed. For the price of these meal you expect a certain level of service/ambience as well as exceptional food. It was so loud we could not even hear our server speaking. We had a reservation and we arrived about 20 min early and our table was not ready yet which was fine but we didn’t ere not seated until 30 min after our reservation. It took almost 20 minutes for our sever to even come over and greet our table. We ordered a bottle of wine which took almost 30 min to arrive. By that time we fairly annoyed that we had been there almost and hour and half and had not even been able to place any part of my our food order. When I knew I was going to be going to Vegas for my birthday this was the first reservation I made and it was also for my birthday. The food was just ok at best. Again for the price the food should have been exceptional and it was not. You can make up for ok food with great service or vice versa and much to my disappoint my dinner was none of these things. We will never be back. Pretty much a waste of $500 and a birthday dinner.
Nobu at the Virgin Hotel had a very abbreviated menu versus other pre-Covid Nobu we’ve been to;
This hotel used to be Hardrock and the young, wild, & drunk vibe it still has really doesn’t mesh well with the Nobu fine dining experience.
The restaurant was VERY LOUD on the Friday night we attended.
I feel the food was prepared much more delicately at the other Nobu.
Service and food was exceptional. Will be back!
Tried 4 appetizers, soup & 5 rolls of sushi. The collective feedback is that the food was mediocre at best. The Wagyu taco is the one item that was really flavorful. Everything else was subpar.
Service from Natasha was amazing! She made excellent recommendations and took the time to make sure our dinner was perfect! However as we were finishing our tempora crab a very rude and condensending man approached our table and told us we had to order our dessert right away because the kitchen was closed and he was keeping it open for us. He clearly was agitated with us and we weren't sure why. It appeared that he had a bad night and wanted to ruin our night also but we didn't let him. Your restaurant doesn't need a person with a bad attitude like this man had. Maybe a hospitality career just isn't right for him and maybe he should drive a tow truck where his bad attitude will fit right in. Other than that Natasha is truly an expert at her craft very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you.
Great food & service.
First time since the change to Virgin, slight redesign was nice.
The food quality was a little sub par for Nobu, primarily the wagyu.
The wagyu tacos which has been one of my favorites actually had a marinade on the meat which totally ruined the flavor.
Portion sizes were smaller than usual.
Drinks were amazing, but again a pretty steep increase in price.
Service was good, waiter was knowledgeable.
Normally Nobu gets 5 stars from me but I wasn't impressed with our server at this location at all. We are NOBU-ers and go to every location that crosses our path and this time just wasn't a great experience. Food was delicious as always but our server Joey was pushy, somewhat rude and just ruined the experience all together. Was really bummed as we always look forward to our meals at Nobu.
Hands down! Food and service is amazing!
Excellent service staff very helpful and friendly. Food was served timely
Good food and excellent service. Chris provided excellent service and made great recommendations. Chris’s service made the experience great.
Being from Hawaii and having experienced lots of Japanese and world class cuisine, along with always fresh seafood, food was a little overpriced for what you get.
Virgin location more intimate than Cesars location which was a better for us to experience the service, food, and conversations.
Oysters? Sold out. That wine you want? Sold out. That 2nd & 3rd choice of wine? Sold out too. If you have a fairly minimal wine list, you should make sure you have stock. After all those unavailable options, I asked for a deal on a $350 bottle, since there was nothing decent at a reasonable price. Nope. Overall, the food was excellent. The service was good, but our server was too busy.
We went not sure what to expect. The menu is a family style portioning and the food is pricey. But let me tell you it was the best meal any of us had in a long time! We the Sea Bass, King Crab Tempura, Brusselsprouts, and a whole bunch more; couldn’t settle on a favorite because everything was so good! The service was top notch too! If this restaurant was located directly on the strip they would be booked solid for weeks!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent’n
My first time .. excellent sashimi and dessert 👏👏👏
AMAZING !!! Hands down best service we had while in Vegas. Our server was awesome and everyone was so friendly. Felt like family. 10/10 recommend !!
Went there for omakase at the sushi bar. Sushi Chef and server were both nice and attentive, but we felt extremely rushed during the entire dinner service. The entire time we were dining, all I can see is the kitchen and dining staff preparing to close. Entire sushi table was cleared off before our hot dishes came out. Even if it was not last call yet, we would have not been able to order any sushi related items. Towards the end, the runner dropped off food from the left and right, brother before myself.. skimmed through providing descriptions and walked off quickly. For future, they should only take omakase guests plenty of time before they close. The omakase itself had more non-sushi/sashimi related items and were heavily covered in sauce. It is difficult to tell the quality of the fish when there are too many condiments and sauces around it. For a meal this price, definitely would reconsider going back.
Our waiter was amazing, his name is Jeffrey. He recommend us all the best dishes and a very nice Japanese beer. Comparing with the other famous japanese restaurant in Vegas , Zuma, we can definitely say that Nobu is the best. Strongly recommend!!
Excellent experience. Jeff and staff were great. Highly recommend
Exceptional food & service! My husband is not a sushi fan but, our server had a Wagyu Steak sushi roll made up for him. . . unbelievably good. The Miso Cod is a must try, but everything was amazing, the service was the best we have ever experienced in a restaurant. My husband commented that all other restaurants should send their staff to Nobu to be trained.
Great customer service
It was spectacular!
Chris was our server and he was FANTASTIC! He just kept being amazing dishes out for us to enjoy. Loved everything!
Absolutely loved our experience at Nobu!! The staff was excellent!!
We had a chef tasting menu and it was fantastic!!! One of the best meals ever
Awesome service! Awesome food. We had members of our party who didn’t eat seafood and the server created that individual’s own vegetarian tasting menu. The remainder of our group had a tasting menu, created by the server (very knowledgeable!) that was around the price of the Omakase tasting menu but totally different. Great cocktails, great wine. Really a great experience. Like all things in Vegas, it was $$$ but worth the night out. Would definitely go back!
