Nobu Lanai - Four Seasons Lanai
Drawing upon Chef Matsuhisa's classical training as a sushi chef in Tokyo, his life abroad in South America, and his travels around the world, Nobu Lana'i will showcase Chef's signature new-style Japanese cuisine, as well as new creations infusing local Hawaiian ingredients.

Our waiter Jarod was incredible. Amazing service!
Excellent Japanese cuisine
We had the chef specialty and it was prepared with perfection. We started with a sake flight and ended with the premium sake. Thank you for an excellent experience
Our server lacked personality and interest in pleasing us
Great food, great service. Took a while to get the check, but other than that, i can’t wait to go back.
Lanai is a feast for the eyes, it's beautiful everywhere so eating with the view is magical on its own. Having never eaten at Nobu we were up for it and ordered the signature black cod with miso and sat there just savoring, it really is a memorable dish. The waiter was nice enough to pair it for us with a wine that was bottled for this dish we found out, a Matsuhisa Chardonay. We started with 3 tacos that were teeny tiny, but delicious. It's a beautiful location with fresh fish, the food is excellent but we ate excellent food everywhere we went-this was fine dining excellent, it's the location that stole the show.
This is by far the best restaurant we have been to in Hawaii. The sushi chefs are personable and talented. Everyone who works there is friendly and wants you to have a great evening. The sushi was amazing. This Nobu has the traditional Nobu menu and offerings available only in Lanai and we tasted many of these - all delicious and wonderful to have something unique to Lanai. We have been to other Nobu and this one is outstanding, the best. Thank you for a wonderful evening, Nobu and taking such good care of us.
The food was ridiculously priced. The service was below average and we ordered omakase. Please look up the definition of omakase before trying to play this off to your guests. Underwhelming is an understatement
Impeccable fresh fish creatively prepared overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Expensive but worth it.
Beyond words, so amazing! Definitely recommend the shiitake salad and short ribs!
Nobu Lanai is a wonderful restaurant in A great setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean great staff great wine list the food is superb
This restaurant is a neighborhood jam great wine list great service innovative food friendly and nice people
Nice Japanese cuisine restaurant with nice bar and great view !
Exception views with average table service. Bar staff is much more engaging and friendly. Very expensive for the portion sizes and the Spicy Shrimp dish lacked any genuine flavor. Guests have limited dining options at the FS Lanai.
We adore Trevor the manager. he is always hands on, never forgets our names and what we like to order. he makes sure the dining experience is unmatched, highly recommend dining here
Best meal I've had at Nobu's Lana'i. And the service was fantastic.
Delicious dinner. Always love eating at any Nobu restaurant but the ambiance here was beautiful!
It was all very good.
Daryll is the best!
Darrel, our server, was very professional with contagious positive energy.
Hostess, Meghan, helped find us a seat quickly, and casually.
Edamame with sea salt hit the spot.
Tempura was fresh, light and delicious.
Saki was smooth.
Dessert off the hook.
This restaurant holds a true 5 star rating.
We ate here six nights in a row during our stay at the Four Seasons resort. The service - thanks, Stephanie, Darryl & Martine - was warm, informative and efficient despite a menu that encourages lots of small plate decisions. No problem. The food was excellent from the Brussels sprouts starter, to the traditional Nobu tacos and miso cod, to wagyu on lava rock and a killer shave ice dessert. And the view is simply spectacular. We thought about changing to the other restaurant (One FORTY) but always came back to why mess with success! Maybe we’re ruined by East Coast dining prices but some reasonable wine prices kept our tabs in the range you’d expect in, say, DC. A bit more robust wine list would be my only nitpick. Thank you for a great week, Nobu Lana’i!
Chef Tex is the man, all mgmt and staff tremendously accommodating and generous! Spectacular setting
Beautiful restaurant and a great setting the food and the menu is outstanding service is great if this is over the ocean or just magnificent I would recommend this restaurant anytime
Awesome! Great food and staff were all friendly!
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful! Our service was horrible! Our waitress forgot about us , never came around , dropped off dessert menus and never came back ! She was rude and not willing to help!
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing, tasty, and unique. Craft cocktails were outstanding. Views were spectacular. Be prepared for to pay premium prices for the experience, but definitely worth the occasion.
Amazing ambiance with a beautiful view in the Four Seasons. Food was mediocre which was disappointing given the price point for dining at this location.
I have eaten in many Nobs and I find none of them as good as the one here it’s a beautiful setting remarkable food a wonderful staff with great wine and a wonderful bar.
Made a great effort to meet the needs of my food allergies. Wait staff was amazing!!
Food was excellent, service was less than I would expect from this caliber restaurant
Disappointing and nothing special. It's just modified Japanese menu with elevated price. You can find better and authentic Japanese food somewhere else.
Absolutely delicious food every time we’ve been here.
It’s not a cheap meal but I’ve always felt like the experience was 100% worth it.
Small plates, but so scrumptious.
The service and ambiance is unbeatable.
Great!! It was amazing.
I have dined at numerous Nobu restaurants and this is the first time I was disappointed. The food was good, but not great. We ordered Toro and it was very vein filled and tough.
The worst part of the night was the service. Once we were sat, we literally waited 15 minutes for someone to come and take a drink order! When food was delivered, no real explanation was given for the preparation and it was just dropped on the table. It really felt like an attitude of “Who cares. These people will be gone in a few days” was very prevalent throughout the service team.
This was our first time back to the Four Seasons Lana`i resort since 2011. So this new restaurant was a new experience for us there. They really did a wonderful job to include both Nobu classics from other restaurants as well as special local variations which were equally good. Service was excellent, and of course the beautiful tropical surroundings and outdoor eating made it extra special. This is both a special island as well as a special resort so it is nice that they have a special restaurant.
Fabulous food. Everything we ordered was perfect.
Ask for Daryl as your server. He did a great job with excellent service! Everything was amazing!
