It was wonderful, so sweet! great service!
Absolutely a fantastic time and an awesome restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was even better! Can’t even describe how satisfied my party and I was with the ambiance, food, drinks and service! We will be coming back very soon!
I had the absolute worst experience at Nobu Houston on Sunday. I've patronized this restaurant several times and have never been treated so poorly. Christian was rude to me and my guests and his poor attitude and lack of customer service nearly ruined my birthday celebration. He brought out incorrect orders, was unresponsive to questions regarding the menu, rolled his eyes when my guests asked for things like eel sauce or silverware....the list of offenses goes on and on. He shouldn't work in a customer service-oriented position!!!
Nobu has nice dishes, but very meagre in portion size. Our main complaint was the disinterested server. We were there for a birthday but went somewhere else for dessert because he was such a downer. We eat out a lot and I may be spoiled by the places I take my corporate customers. Perhaps our expectations of this place were too high, as well.
Highly recommend. Great food. Great service. A favorite to eat at!
It was the first time we went to Nobu in Houston. We had a great time. Food was fantastic, the waiters were magnificent, whith great knowledge about the menu. We will definately go back!
the person that waited on us was very good but the staff that backed her up were not. they brought our food out cold when it was supposed to be hot and not all dishes were brought out at same time and those were the main entrees. I was disappointed in the fish which tasted "fishy" as it is their signature dish. I wish the meal was better as we have been to their other restaurants .
Food was decent but small portions. There are better sushi places to go with more food and tastier options.
Great first visit
Ambiance was great. Food was overpriced and was not good. We had the rock shrimp with spicy mayo and it honestly wasn’t great. We left very disappointed.
Wonderful sushi chef!
excellent food and service! best sushi experience we have had.
Not the typical Nobu experience that you expect. This was a special occasion and we felt we were in a super
Casual setting. Family with kids, bright ambience, just all around a disappointment in feel. Knowing we would easily spend $400 for the two of us food and wine. Not worth it to me. When I eat put I want the full experience.
Food is amazing. WAY Over priced for this setting.
Service was great.
I won’t go back and that is the saddest part. Just would rather throw that money towards an overall experience like Vic and Anthony, Del Friscos or Steak 48, Eddy V - all better choices for cost/value.
Birthday! So fun! Great food! Great service!
We had the best time for our first year anniversary! It was such a memorable experience that we will cherish forever!
Great food and service as always!
Very attentive and friendly staff. This was my second visit and everything was consistent and extremely enjoyable.
I love Nobu but this location (I’ve been to 4 different locations multiple times) is probably my least favorite. I ALWAYS get the Jidori chicken along with sushi. The sushi was great but the chicken was terrible. I would’ve sent it back but we were in a hurry. It was chewy and bland. Service was impeccable but the food wasn’t that night.
Food has been on stead decline. Not the usually Nobu standard. Won’t be returning.
Nice n cute
Delicious. I'm gluten and dairy free and our server and chef went out of their way to make sure I had as delicious a meal as everyone else, even creating a sushi roll just for me. We went at lunch on a Friday so it wasn't crowded at all. Love how the waiter and all the chefs and cooking staff greet you when you come in! It's really the best sushi restaurant out there for sure. The manager came and greeted us and we talked for a few minutes and I want to be his best friend.
Awesome experience once again. Food, service and ambiance are all top notch.
I went to here for my birthday and it was amazing! I went on a Thursday around 7:15 pm and that was the perfect time . Not too many people and the service was amazing . The server was a trainee but, me and my boyfriend thought he was the trainer ! He recommended the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer and many more iconic dishes everyone love. The grapefruit drink was amazing that he recommended. He really described everything in detail for us since we never been there before and It made my birthday 10 times better and would recommend anyone to go .
Service remains spotty; food remains outstanding.
Good sushi, nice sushi chef, poor service
Service was ok, food was ok, drinks were ok. None of it matched up to the price tag of $700 - dinner for 2. We did walk away full though.
Clarence has done a fabulous job managing, service is top notch. Server Michael was extremely attentive. Our party had a wonderful time. Will be back for sure.
The service was rushed and the sushi was mediocre. We have been to Nobu in Dubai, Milan, London and Hong Kong and love them. Houston Nobu, comparatively is amatuer hour.
Unfortunately we were disappointed.I was expecting a similar experience in terms of quality like the one I had when Nobu only opened its second restaurant in London at the time. I still remember that experience. The miso cod, the shrimp tempura in in signature sauce etc. It was an amazing experience. I was so excited when I saw Nobu will open in Houston. Unfortunately is was a big disappointment. We did go first to the happy hour which was quite alright. We then had sit down dinner and that is were it hit me. I frequently go to top restaurants and I am aware that it can get pricy put usually it is worth every dollar spend. So I am in no way not aware what I am getting myself into in terms of cost. But when I saw that the lobster dish for example is more than 100USD I was a bit surprised.I can understand an amazing fish or lobster dish reaching the 60 to 65 USD or even 80 mark but 100 plus tax and tip ... what surprised me even more is that there were many dished that reached the over 80USD mark, usually you have two or three absolute amazing signature fish and meat dished reaching that mark but so many dished seemed excessive. So we ordered the mid range dished with the most being about 45 USD. Unfortunately there was not one dish that came even close to justifying the price. It was not the quality of ingredients it was just the taste. Nothing was special, nothing had this taste that would give you a wow. Even the signature miso cod was overcooked and way too sweet. The salmon avocado maki was not good at all. And the "spicy" tuna with the rice cubes was tasteless. Literally that spicy tuna tatar just tasted like fish paste. Utterly disappointed, I know plenty of no name Asian restaurants around Houston that are not cheap but much better value for money. One is even only a 10min walk from Nobu. I recently went to Zuma in Vegas, & better value. They are direct competitors so I was chocked that Nobu is the original. 300USD and poor experience. Sorry
Absolutely horrible. Service non existent. Prices outrageous for what you actually get. Your going for name
Inspiring! My husband and I tried both omakase versions and were blown away. The "Houston" or higher price omakase was not just a replica of the lower priced "Signature" omakase, but each dish in the 7-course journey of deliciousness was different. The amount of detail, thought, creativity, and presentation that went into each of the 7 courses was exquisite. Stand outs on the "Houston" menu were the Wagyu beef that was pillow-soft, the first sea urchin appetizer in a umami jelly, and the soup. Memorable courses on the "Signature" menu were the sirloin and the creme brûlée dessert. We both loved the miniature poached Japanese peach.
Wonderful- we have been to Nobu in both NYC and San Francisco and Houston did not disappoint. We had the waiter just bring us some of the new and old dishes and left it up to him to decide and he judged the tyow and amount perfectly. Wonderful evening
Expected a lot more for the money paid.
The food was mediocre and the prices were outrageous. Will not be back
Disappointed in the experience compared to what I’ve heard about Nobu in other cities. Food and prices very overpriced for the quality of food, service and lack of ambiance.
Sorry Nobu Houston - you were a disappointment. We have been to Nobu restaurants around the globe and unfortunately Nobu Houston does not measure up. We will not be back.
