New Year's Eve Special Menus & Offers
Nobu Houston will be offering a special New Year's Eve Omakase as well as an a la carte menu. Call us for more information or to book your table!
Food was amazing! We did the multicourse tasting menu and it was the perfect way to taste lots of different menu items. Very filling too!
Cocktail & food menus are creative & delicious. Service was excellent. Looking forward to next time!
Service levels during the pandemic have declined. We were unable to get our wine and cocktail glasses refilled without having to request multiple times. Our questions on the omakase menu were lost on the wait staff. And courses were’t timed, leaving us waiting 10-15 minutes between dishes. We had to cancel the dessert course after not being able to get any information regarding the ETA.
Awesome service, from the greeter, to the waiter, knowing when to bring the food, because we were a party of six, and everything's was right on time...great rolls and the fish fresh as always....
We had an amazing experience at Nobu! It started with the very funny and friendly host seating us in a more secluded part of the restaurant, which made things feel a lot safer and more romantic. That eventually led to the amazing service of our waiter Justin, who very helpful in guiding us through our choices for the evening. We eventually decided on the seasonal omakase menu and we're not disappointed in the least bit! The entire experience made it a really special night and we look forward to more like it in the future!
Food remains amazing, had a great experience with the Omakaze. Service was a little slower than usual but super attentive and polite. Great pandemic measures, we felt safe and well cared for throughout the the meal.
Le falta diseño y ambiente acogedor al lugar... muy desganado.
The food was amazing and the drinks were perfect. The most important part of dinner was the ambience, since it was very romantic. I was at dinner with the woman of my dreams and I could not keep my eyes or my hands off of her. Nobu is now my favorite place, since favorite places are made by memories created. I will always remember the night I fell in love again
Excellent food and service. Priced a bit on the high side.
The food AND cocktails were outstanding! Everything we tasted wowed us!
Amazing. My girlfriend absolutely loved it! Would recommend and visit again.
After visiting a Nobu on every continent-this was a big disappointment. Considering with the pandemic they were busy-I would except the level of service to be amazing.
Service: horrid-waiter didn’t make eye contact, rushed us, didn’t make any recommendations when asked-I asked him how the salmon was done and said there was ‘sauce’ on there—ughh- just horrid!
Food: cod was perfectly cooked-asked for a bowl of rice-that was hard like a rock! Sushi was good. Negitoro was my fav. California roll —ekkk(I should have known better) fresh water eel was good.
Wont ever come back to this location.
excelent as always !
Our server Justin was very polite and made our experience smooth by accommodating us with the seasonal menu. The Southside cocktail is a must try! Food was superb, always a pleasure to dine here.
Food timing was off and kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Taste generally great though tempura was greasier than usual.
Superb food and service. One of my top 3 in Houstonm
This Nobu does not rival many others we have enjoyed across the US. It is in a mall, and the clientele is more of a mixed group than typical Nobu diners. It feels like a chain. The wines by the glass are mediocre, my husband ordered three specific, yet basic, cocktails that the restaurant lacked various ingredients to make. The service provider was friendly and cute, however, she did not know the answers to our questions, nor did she make helpful recommendations. While we expected this would be an expensive dinner, the $400 for three people (without a bottle of wine) seemed steep. I think that $400 could be used at many other restaurants in Houston where we would receive better service, drink options, atmosphere and better overall experience.
It was a great setting to celebrate my significant other's birthday.
Not exceptional compare to Nobu London.
10/10 every time. Shoutout to Jackie every time.
Bday dinner. My friend and I had a fun time! Everything was great! We ordered the lobster and shrimp plate got 2 bits of lobster and three small shrimp. Not super impressed with the food quantity but it was delicious.
Everything was perfect. Great experience. I would highly recommend.
Ribeye steak (medium rare) was the best I've had thus far. Dover Sole was exquisite. Drinks were amazing. Service was professional and friendly. This was the VIP experience. Will come back again very soon.
Took our daughter there for her birthday and it was perfect! Everything we ordered was outstanding. Our server was very helpful in guiding us with our choices. We definitely recommend Nobu and will go back next time we are in Houston.
Rachel and Jackie are the best, of course.
Nobu is like a fine wine. My memories of Nobu go back to the early 90’s LA when it was Mastuhisa on La Cienega.
The inspiration he gave the Japanese culinary changed eating Sushi / Sashimi forever. Let us not forget the yellowtail with jalapeño in a tangy ponzu or the tuna tartar in a iced goblet topped with caviar and swirling around it a spicy mixture soy and wasabi. Well it’s still great as before. The rest of the menu was fine quality was there, but maybe it’s time to do some Tweaking to the menu. Let’s bring the master back and show them a few things like before
Great stop for a final Birthday dinner. The Miso Cod is always the best!
The highlight was the host when we walked in. Extremely friendly and welcoming. It went downhill from there. We were led to a large booth table that wasn’t really set up for a party of 2. It was next to the kitchen and very noisy. This was noise from the kitchen and not from the guests or other factors. Guessing it was the main dining room. We saw much more intimate table settings on the sides and other sitting areas. So if coming for a special occasion I would make sure to ask for that. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and I had noted that when booking. If we were with a large group and it was packed our table would have been understandable.
Tables were spaced wide apart. There were lots of open tables all 6 or more feet apart so I don’t believe this was a limitation on COVID which I completely understand. It was pretty bright as well. Just overall not what I would expect from a mid tier restaurant let alone somewhere like Nobu.
We had never been so being handed a scan code for a menu and that’s about it with no explanation of what Nobu is about was disappointing. We felt rushed like we were an inconvenience. I asked about one of the items on the menu and was told it wasn’t available for me because it was 930. That was my reservation time offered. Maybe put online that the time slot doesn't offer full menu options.
By this point we both ordered a simple entree. I will say the Chicken Teriyaki and Sea Bass were both delicious. I wish I had more time to look over the Sushi options but doing it on my phone and rushed I didn’t feel much for it.
They did bring out a nice dessert plate for our anniversary which was a nice touch. We were thankful for that.
Overall, we were left with a lack luster experience from somewhere we expected to be a premiere place in Houston.
Amazing food and really great service. Our server gave us some great recommendation to try and they were amazing!!
Tasting menu was delicious!!! First time here and would highly recommend!!
Deliciously fresh as usual. Excellent service. Top notch sushi. Fantastic wine & sake list. Several off-menu features. Can’t wait to dine again!
Horrible service. Such bad wait to get first dish then second. Trash everywhere
No Mia Margaritas are available at this location. Strange when I’ve had them at many locations all over the world. Host claimed they could not procure the ingredients due to covid but the waitress had never heard of the drink so...anyway it’s sad Houston is being left out of enjoying a classic cocktail.
Very underwhelming experience, food really below average. This is not our first time in Nobu Houston, it was outstanding before but lost it totally. We’ve been to Nobu in LA, Miami and Dubai, never as bad as this time. Shrimps small like PFChang’s dynamite shrimp, not even as good. Ribeye below average. Underwhelming
I made note that this reservation is for my birthday, and nothing was done to acknowledge that. Not sure if it got mislooked, or Nobu doesn’t offer any special for birthday or special occasion. That was a disappointing. Experience was good, but could be better.
Expensive, but your taste buds will appreciate it.
Amazing ambiance especially in the evening. Food was quick and amazing. Drinks are excellent! Had a superb experience as always
We had a very enjoyable dinner, but overall I would say that the Houston Nobu does not live up to the hype. The food is very good, but the atmosphere is strangely not very good. The furnishings are cafeteria-like. For an ultra-fancy sushi place, the decor doesn't cut it. If someone else is paying I would gladly go again, but otherwise I won't plan another visit there.
This was my first time eating here and it’s was a great experience! We did the recommendation of our waiter and she did a great job with our food selection.
