Made reservations because it was a dear friend’s birthday and I’d be dying to try this restaurant out for years. Service was exceptional and they exceeded my expectations. Fan for life here
The food was delicious but the service was kinda ehhh not so good
I alway love the food and service at Nobu
Delicious Sushi and great variety. A little on the expensive side but totally worth it! Great service.
Everything. Was. Perfect. Our seating. And especially our waiter, Daniel. He was so helpful with the menus and made us feel so welcomed and special.
Quality not as expected and presentation of the food is sloppy and poor.
Also too much sauce, overcooked Cod.
Didn’t worth what the value been charged.
Not in a same level as UK London, California USa, Dubai Middle East,
This is my second try out with a hope of better experience but was disappointed.
Excellent food and very good service.
Meal felt rushed with many orders coming at once .
Loud . Tight tables
Loved it! The food was great!!
Food was delicious and service was excellent but a bit pricey. Great for special occasions.
Amazing as always! My husband loved the NYE tasting!! I am vegan and they always accommodate my dietary restrictions.
There are very few restaurants that live up to their hype but this one actually exceeds it. The staff, service, and food here are nothing short of fantastic!!!!! We’ve been to 7 Nobu’s and love it every time. Be sure to say hi to manager Dana in Houston - she’s awesome!!!!
We sat in the salon, which was not crowded. It took 10 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered two glasses of wine by the glass, they took another 10-15 minutes to come. The food was good, but one of the orders got mixed up and they brought the wrong dish. For the cost and reputation, I expected much better service.
Outstanding multi course meal.
Loved the spirits and customer service
We will return
It was our first time there and the waitress question us about the types of foods we like and she ordered the entire meal for us. The food was amazing as was the presentation. It is a bit pricey so for special occasions it’s well worth it
nice and easy
The fish is very fresh, and the sashimi tacos are delicious! The shrimp and lobster in spicy lemon sauce was bland and only so-so, dominated heavily by the mushrooms. Service was perfect, but the bill was jaw-dropping. There is no shortage of delicious, fresh sushi in Houston, at much lower prices.
good over priced for what you get
Overpriced, nothing special. Very plain.
Always a good time at Nobu! The black cod miso and bluefin toro are some of our family favorites! This is a great place for dining as long as you’re willing to spend!
Great as usual!
The restaurant wasn't able to meet my requests i noted down on the reservation that i made days before. They reached out last minute to notify me when they had plenty of time prior.
Awesome! It wasn’t explained well or maybe I couldn’t understand our waiter’s accent but we thought we could set a price for the whole table not per person. So we wanted to spend $250-$300 on the meal... not per person!! Oh well it was still amazing.
I've visited several NOBU's in the US and around the world and definitely recommend the HOUSTON location! The service was outstanding.
This one was our third time at Nobu. In the past we used to dine with the multi course tasting menu, and all these times the experience had been great. This time, we were five people and we asked for the same tasting menu, but we were recommended to follow a customized family tasting menu. Now we regret having asked for it for 2 reasons:
1. We were not served the way we used to be in the past, individually, and that is part of the service you pay for
2. It was super expensive, more expensive than the usual tasting menu, and that didn’t make any sense.
Still food was good, but we felt that this time we were asked to pay too much for something that didn’t have that value. Not even in a two star Michelin restaurant we had pay that much.
Really, really poor service overall and not a busy evening. It appears they were significantly understaffed. Food is always consistent for Nobu as is is globally - extremely small portions but guests enjoy a SnapChat or IG opportunity. Would not return to this location for reasons above and considering the anguish associated with logistics to the single most traffic congested area in the entire State.
Beautiful space and great service and the food was delicious
Food was sadly underwhelming, especially for the price. I think it needs to be said that this is modern Japanese food for people who have never been to japan before. Service was excellent and attentive though, so kudos to the operations team. I think they need to analyse the menu again to make it palatable. The menu is very Vegas - showy and over the top, but not exactly appetising. Sad experience when we spent 600 bucks for two people.
I finally got around to trying Nobu. Does this dining experience live up to the hype? You bet it does.
My foodie friend and I started with HH drink and nibble specials at the bar: salmon sashimi, oysters three ways, and skewered beef. All three were delicious, but those oysters were truly spectacular.
On to dinner... we expressed to our server our love of Otoro tuna, so he suggested a chef's tasting of Otoro 4 ways. We enthusiastically ordered it, and, while snacking on spicy edamame, we watched admiringly as the head chef created his masterpieces with precision, delicate care, and a spark of mad scientist flare. The result was a stunning presentation of 4 unique works of art, each with its own moment of beauty to the beholder and genius on the palate. Magnificent.
At the server's recommendation, we also tried the live octopus sashimi, which was spectacular, as well. It was my first time trying this preparation of octopus, and it was wonderful: fresh, barely sweet, and slightly chewy yet melty flesh dressed in zingy citrus, on wafer thin cucumber slices.
Other dishes we had: Black cod entree (generous portion, silky and rich,) salmon belly sashimi (excellent,) and eel sashimi (slightly overdone.)
Service was really remarkable. Everyone, from the servers at the bar to the gracious hostesses and beyond were friendly and inviting. Our server was extremely familiar with the menu and was clearly a fan of the head chef, which, I suspect, aided in the spot-on recommendations.
I'm happy to add Nobu to my list of faves and look forward to returning to try more masterpieces.
Excelente y delicioso
Estuvo muy bueno todo para ser sincero, y la atención me gusto mucho.
A very enjoyable evening albeit very expensive. But overall, a nice experience..
Great. Enjoyed it
The food at Nobu is always tasty and interesting and my experience at the new Houston location was no exception. It's always a treat to get to go but it's very pricey. So go prepared to spent some $$$
Service staff was rude. I had three 16 year old boys celebrating my sons 16th birthday. The waiter was pushing us to get out to turn the table because they were teenagers.
Our waiter was attentive. The food came out at a nice rate and done a little at a time so we could share plates. Their miso soup and tempura shrimp roll are my favorite. For those who don’t like fish, there’s a good teriyaki chicken. Wagyu beef dumplings were a hit! We always love to end our meal at Nobu with the mochi selection!
Environment was great but the food was not on par to other nobu locations. Happy hour menu felt very
