No gluten free options..overrated! Noisy and complacent reception and seating ..
Very good for special occasions. Amazing service and food.
Nobu restaurant was more subdued than I expected. I should have made reservations in the fun and trendier bar and lounge. The food was ok. I believe we were not told which were the best dishes. It was underwhelming.
Food is amazing, cooked to the point. Service is discreet and elegant. Overpriced though!!
We celebrated our son 39 birthday.
We have been to Nobu many times in the past and today was superb as always, food, service and ambiance. ,
Outstanding! Enough said... absolutely outstanding
We enjoyed the food and were really looking forward to the evening. We were told ahead that we had a 2h limit for our dinner which was fine. We didn't anticipate needing more than that much time. However, we felt rushed the entire time and we were done in about 40-45 minutes from the time we sat down to walking out. We might have actually eaten or drank more but everything was pushed one after the other without a break. I can't imagine being with a group of friends or family and being pushed so much to order and eat. The restaurant was not full and it was still pretty early in the evening.
The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was kind and attentive. I just think we would have enjoyed the evening more and could give a stronger recommendation if we had not been rushed.
Magnificent as always!
Always delicious and fresh.
Great lunch or dinner spot hidden away in a beautiful building in the FiDi district.
One block away from the Freedom Tower and The Oculus.
Incredible service and beautiful bar and dining room.
Tasting menu was phenomenal. Service was outstanding. Beautiful location. All in all amazing
Hostesses have the worst attitude that we have ever experienced.
I got the Power Bento Lunch and every component was phenomenal. I enjoyed every bite. I’m still thinking about the food. It was absolutely amazing!!!! I will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!!!
Birthday celebration; great service; tuna sashimi awesome
Nobu is one of our favorite restaurants Amazing sushi. Service. Ambiance. I prefer the midtown location to the downtown one.
Not nearly as nice as Nobu57- food not same level as Nobu57----ambiance not even close to Nobu57
Nobu never disappoints. They are consistently great. I have never had a less than amazing bite of sushi from Nobu. And I know it is a small funny thing but the tofu in the miso soup tasted like it was homemade, def the best tofu and miso soup I have EVER had.
Incredibly overpriced tiny portions. We eat in great restaurants all over the world and $150 per person doesn’t bother me if you don’t leave hungry. Drinks are 90% ice. Individual dishes are thimble sized. A main course of soft shells is one crab cut into tiny pieces. There seemed to be just 2 waitresses and a dozen runners so difficult to get the attention when you needed anything once your order was taken. A totally negative experience except that the food while not memorable was mostly very good.
I was a regular at the Tribeca Nobu and I have to say the new location does nothing for me. We had a full meal with cold and hot dishes plus sushi in under an hour. There was nothing enjoyable about it except feeling rushed. In addition the staff make you feel like they are doing you a favor by seating you and waiting on you. It is such a shame that the place my entire family considered on of their faves in NYC has gone so downhill.
Excellent food, wonderful staff.
AMAZING, AMAZING....Service was as incredible as the food and place....
The reception was not friendly and very snobby. The food was good but the uni was not consistent. Some are good and some are just terrible. The waiters are well trained which is a good point. However very noisy environment. Good for everyday dining but the reception desk would make it seems it’s only for Wall Street bros.
Food was great. Knew the price was expensive but worth it. Great staff! Love Nobu!!!
Really fabulous space, fantastic food and great service. Pretty $XXX! But worth it! Highly recommended.
Had a last minute wedding anniversary dinner. I’ve always wanted to go to Nobu but didn’t think I could book it at such short notice. The service was amazing from we entered upstairs to being waited on downstairs. The server had a wealth of knowledge on the menu and helped up pick the most tasty portions of explosive flavour. The table next to us even asked what we were eating as it looked so delicious.
Will visit this place EVERY TIME I can when I’m in the NYC for sure.
The food was absolutely outstanding. While the dishes are pricey, it was well worth it in terms of the culinary experience. My only minor criticism is that the service was a little perfunctory and our waiter's command of English was not the best, but he did, in the end, get a substitution into the chef's tasting menu that we had wanted, and did ensure that non-shellfish was substituted for shellfish courses for one of our group that did not want shellfish. Overall, an amazing dining experience.
Lovely dinner! Great service. Excellent food.
Just ok. I did not love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Food was generally good.
We had one person in our group severely allergic to sesame and nuts, and another no garlic and they were able to accommodate both no problem. Every dish they set down they confirmed that there was no sesame, nuts, etc.
Excellent Service and Food! Our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's several food allergies and was very patient and kind.
Everything was spectacular to say the least, the flavors were spot on our host was so informative and gave us great choices, he was so professional, I can’t remember his name and he wasn’t Japanese he was Eastern European but new all the dishes. 😄
The restaurant is beautiful inside and the ambience is very nice. Service is decent but it’s not a very intimate/cozy kind of interaction. It’s nice that other people help with refilling waters, bringing/clearing plates, so that service is efficient, but if you haven’t been there before and have questions about the confusing set up of the menu/options, they don’t seem to be very patient with that or take the time to explain things well.
Food was ok overall but just know that portions are VERY small for what you pay. I personally feel that some of the comparable dishes at other restaurants (like the rock shrimp tempura with spicy sauce) are far better and for a much better price. It was interesting to try this place once, but I probably won’t go back.
Great service, nice people, tasty foods, great overall experience. I will definitely come back.
Service was a little spotty, but nothing to complain about. Ambiance was nice but the food was so exceptional that everything else was a distant second in my mind. Go here! Do it! Eat all the food.
Excellent across the board. Food was fantastic and the service was amazing! We will be back!
Service was great, ambiance super beautiful and food AMAZING!!!
Conferma la qualità di Nobu capace di coniugare tradizione ed innovazione
Went for the first time and loved it. Great food, service and decor!
Took my fiancé here and it was by far the best food we’ve ever eaten.
The first time I ate at Nobu was at the Miami location. The sushi was awesome. So I was really looking forward to my dinner here. Unfortunately, the sushi we had was below average. I was very disappointed.
