Food was terrible . I went for my birthday dinner , wouldn’t recommend. I did not enjoy my birthday dinner whatsoever
The Sea Bass was too small
Food was good but portions too small
Expect to spend $100/person
Incredible! Wonderful ambiance, service and food!
Amazing as always! So happy to be back. The food and staff are both always incredible.
Everything was excellent. Top notch service and fresh delicious food as always at Nobu. Never had a bad experience at any of their locations. Tables were distanced and we felt safe and comfortable.
OMG everything was great!!! We had the lobster tempura which was delightful along with the salmon avocado and shrimp tempura rolls. Nobu Downtown is my new favorite restaurant!
We went to NOBU DOWNTOWN for our anniversary and had a very good experience.
The tables were socially distant and all the servers were wearing masks. Our table was in the Bar area and was lovely except it was very cold. We weren’t sure if the revolving doors were the problem or if it was done purposefully for Covid but it made the experience uncomfortable and the food cooled quickly.
The food was excellent as was the service but you do need to be prepared for the large bill as it’s pricey.
I had alerted them on open table that it was an anniversary and had thought they might give a complimentary dessert but the did not acknowledge it.
Brought my 12 year old daughter to the famous Nobu for her birthday. We had a great time considering it was the middle of Covid. We wound up in a different room (vast, huge pillars) which was nice but not Nobu—would have liked to have known that ahead of time considering the occasion. Social distancing was done to perfection. If it’s still during Covid be careful of the 10p curfew. If the 6p seating goes over you don’t get extra time...you have to be out by 10...you might have your main course and desert on the table at the same time. My only issue with Nobu are the punitive prices...$7.50 for one piece of salmon sushi...2-3x what the rest of the world charges. The creativity is up to par...the truffle steak, miso cod, yellowtail jalapeno/ponzu are all staples/classics.
I’ve been a patron of the Nobu group for a great amount of time, especially the Downtown location. But for the first time in years I was extremely disappointed with the ambiance and quality of food. Nobu is my favorite restaurant because of the attention to detail of the full experience from service, ambiance and food - but this time I was disappointed. The overall ambiance was poor - bathroom was a mess, the dining room was packed and the noise level was insane. The service was fantastic however it was visible that chefs and staff were rushing and struggling to take on the volume of guests. The food was ok but visibly noticeable that it was prepared too quickly, and not the same consistently high quality as times before. I hope that this was an individual instance and not a constant occurrence.
Service and food was exceptional. Will be going back there. We were late and the host accommodated us.
Best food in nyc, never disappoints.
Crispy rice with spicy avocado 🥑 so good the sushi is top notch as well
My wife and I decided to have a celebration dinner at your location. You guys/gals knocked it out the patk. What a wonderful decor, amazing customer service from beginning to end. June, our waitress, what can we say besides AMAZING!! My wife and I plan to return for Christmas, God willing we get a seat, this is the Mrs. New Favorite NYC spot. Kudos and keep up the great work. Hats off to the Chef(s)!!
Always good service and excellent food. Bar area upstairs was closed due to Covid, so we ate downstairs. I appreciate their adherence to keeping the dining experience safe.
It’s expensive and top notch. A few staples we order are the Jalapeño hamachi, wagyu new style with a side of rice, shishito peppers, salmon belly. Lychee martini and their Margarita (forgot the exact name) are always good.
Top notch service and food quality. Always a consistent and high-end experience. Terrific safety protocols. Wonderful experience.
Honestly the food wasn’t that good for the price it was priced for.
Amazing food and service. Great ambiance and environment
Great time hate the time closes so early
The food is fantastic! Had the chilean sea bass with jalapeno dressing and it is hands down the best chilean sea bass I've ever had. The lamb chops are also amazing, definitely worth a try! They also take all safety precautions, including temperature checks at check-in. We felt very safe dining here. This is and will always be one of our absolute favorite restaurants.
Cute date spot but would not repeat. There were small flies hovering over our food throughout our meal. They were also out of the dessert we ordered so we had to order something else which I wouldn’t expect from a place like Nobu.
Nobu is Nobu is Nobu but the service was impeccable. Thank you so much.
Delicious food beautifully presented, lovely atmosphere, staff always ready to make great recommendations. Amazing experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend
Everything was fantastic. High quality food and service.
Excellent service, great covid response
Super clean and lots of space
The menu was limited because of covid but I understand
Still a good time
Yummy food, on the expensive/small portions side
But it’s worth it
The drinks are 10/10
Was surprised the sushi was different from the location at Nobu 57. Seaweed wrapped instead of rice, smaller sized rolls, etc. Pretty disappointed since I was bringing friends here to try Nobu for the first time and no one was blown away.
Great food. Great service.
It was like eating in the lobby of a building with a table. Decor was horrible.
Amazing food and great staff! Was not a long wait for the food and sat at the seats right away! Would go again.
Food and ambience is great!!!
Great food and service. No heaters for outdoor dining is a huge problem!
Overrated. There are so many better, less expensive spots that offer similar cuisine in NYC. 29$ for what our waiter called their 'famous spicy tuna' only to be disappointed by its bland taste and small quantity. Overall, not good food regardless of price though.
My kids and i came for a birthday dinner and everything was top notch! Love them.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing food & drinks. We had a great time and would come again.
The food was very good and the service was good as well. A little expensive but I think the quality makes up for that.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the sushi it look like something I could pick up in a local supermarket and had no taste
Great restaurant for special occasions, dates, and to meet up with friends the service was excellent and the food was on par with my expectations except the wagyu. The A5 wagyu was not worth the $38 per ounce price point. I’ve heard stories of the steak melting once placing in the mouth of the guest but this was certainly not true. Very over hyped but apart from that I would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back soon.
The atmosphere is amazing and service was fabulous. Really great sushi.
We missed dining at Nobu and were thrilled to come back. Our server was wonderful and the experience was magical overall.
Was a little nervous when I pulled up, I expected to eat outside as for the only rsvp available was outside. It was Friday night and it was pouring rain, luckily they extended there tables to the lobby of the building and we were able to enjoy our $500 dinner for 2 and not be stuck outside in rain under a tent
Amazing experiences. Go.
