Nobu Downtown | Restaurant
Pretty much the last serving before all or the restaurants in nyc were forced to close. Staff were all amazing and came across so calm even in a time of major panic and chaos. Thank you all for making sure this was still a wonderful experience ☺️
Nobu is a great addition to the TriBeCa dining scene. The variety on the menu makes each dining experience unique. My advice—go there several times and order new items each time. The lamb chops, lobster tempura and wagu dumplings are all amazing!
This restaurant is better than ever in every way. PHENOMENAL food and overall excellent dining experience.
This place is highly suggested by a lot of people but compared to the staff at Del Frisco’s and the interaction as well as the actual food itself, I wouldn’t suggest this restaurant to anyone. Our waiter didn’t seem enthused to assist us, maybe he was a new waiter but he just wasn’t happy abt serving us.
Awesome evening at Nobu! Can’t wait to go back. Thank you Brian for your great navigation tips of your delicious menu.
Amazing as always
Besides the wait everything was absolutely magnificent.
NOBU was exceptional from the entrance to the dining experience. Everything was of A plus quality! Highly recommend this place if you are into seafood and like to explore seafood options. Everything we ordered was delicious ! Each dish just as great as the next. The black cod in miso sauce was amazing ! The Brownie dessert was to die for
It was my birthday and we were sat in the middle of no where ... there was a guy who was training people who would just stand right behind me or facing towards the table - extremely uncomfortable and the rowdy girls next to me were literally screaming , which was so annoying. Despite having reservations we had to wait 15 minutes and I find that ridiculous cus the girl in the front was unprofessional and gave me a dirty look when I asked how long will it take . Smh it’s not a 3 star restaurant so I’m not sure why they have a stick up their @** but each to its own. The dessert was amazing so that saved my bday but it was not the best experience.
Amazing food amazing place just amazing!
Portions were very small and orders served while other guests waited for food
food as always was excellent and consistent. Perfect for a business lunch
Very low food quality for the price. Nobu downtown significantly degraded since before their move.
Loved the food but felt our waiter could have been a little more helpful.
Excellent food but overpriced for what you get.
Always very good.
First class service, first class meal and I was treated like "first class".
Tourists trap . Very mediocre, incomprehensibly overpriced.
Was once “the place” very disappointing now
I expected more for the money. After spending close to $500 for 4 we left not full. The food is well done but the portions are small. The service fell way short of my expectations. The drink I wanted was not available and the lobster salad was not available. The table was not wiped before desert. The coffee was too weak to be called coffee. The wait staff was not attentive. The black cod with miso is still excellent. Many years ago Nobu was excellent. Then the service was excellent and the I felt pampered and the food was a treat and I left feeling well fed. Not this time.
The dinner was very good but EXTREMELY expensive. As in the most expensive dinner I've ever had excluding wine. Would have rated food higher, but did not love the miso-marinated black cod. Everyone tried it and all felt the same way. Overall a fun experience with good food. Excellent sushi!
Nobu never disappoints. The tuna and salmon dishes are outstanding, but nothing beats the tempura king crab and wagyu tacos.
Awesome as usual
The food was delicious, but the service was very subpar to prior experiences. We were entertaining clients and had a table of 8. We ordered a few appetizers both hot and cold, and a mix of entrees. The edamame/peppers came out right away, which were great. About 10 minutes after that, 2 peoples Entree's came out, before the rest of the appetizers. 45 min later, the rest of the appetizers (2 orders of rock shrimp) still hadn't arrived, but our two guests were just sitting with their entrees. I finally asked if we could cancel the appetizers and just have our entrees since we were waiting for so long and she brought them over and asked if we didn't want them since they were ready. About 5 minutes later entrees started coming out. About 10 minutes after most of the party's entree's came out, the last two people's food came out. The waitress hardly came over to check on us. I had to flag her down from leaving another party just to ask about the apps.
das essen war wie immer top! der service hätte aufmerksamer sein können.
Food was good. Had to ask for warm hand towels and other tables were given without asking. Waiters were knowledgeable of menu. Better feel than the uptown Nobu.
The service was poor - for the first time ever at this Nobu. The server seemed to forget courses and brought two wrong orders.
Such an intimate space for a dinner date! The food was great, will definitely return.
Love Nobu! My only issue is the bartender upstairs was not very attentive.
always surprised how great the food is at Nobu
First time I’ve ever been to Nobu. I have always heard great things about Nobu. It was even better than I had anticipated. The food is off the charts amazing, including appetizers, hot dishes and, of course, the sushi.
The food and service was great as always, however, I was a bit disappointed to find out that the Weekend Brunch menu was removed. I absolutely loved coming here for the Salmon Scrambled Egg Donburi.
Excellent and service great spot for friends and family to gather..
Great time, great experience beautiful ambiance it’s definitely a spot that you go with a significant other.
Food was amazing ambience is amazing, went for valentines day pre fix menu for $175...better be ready to spend minimum $400 for 2 ppl
Great as always! One of my favorite restaurants.
Way to pricy but worth it every once in a while
The food was nothing spectacular. I also did not like the seating.
Love love love Nobu Downtown. Always a great experience with excellent food. Suggest ordering cooked dishes and unique offerings like the crispy rice with spicy yellow tail or the creamy spicy crab. Skip dessert in favor of a cocktail or piece of uni. Unbelievable service and with attentive staff from the minute you walk in the door.
