Excellent meal - food was delicious, service was amazing, dining room was not crowded.

The food was great. It felt pricier than the Newport location but when in Manhattan… we were seated upstairs in smooshy chairs and it was a little hot so that wasn’t my favorite but I was in good company and the drinks were quite tasty.

I’m a bit bias because I’ve gone to Nobu many times in other cities. The food was a bit disappointing and not consistent with the other locations such as Nobu Malibu. They don’t have the same drinks and not enough sauce on the rock shrimp and miso cod was over cooked and dry. Not sure how you can make such a buttery fish dry.

I had a better experience at the Nobu in Miami; I also had higher expectations for the miso cod after reading several reviews- but it was far too sweet and buttery

This space is exceptional. The food was delicious and the wine selection was perfect. I do think the cocktail pricing and the first course pricing was a bit ridiculous. However, overall I would go back for a special occasion.

The food was delicious - as usual. Service was slow and the bathrooms were extremely dirty.

Honestly not impressed and Nobu is not worth the money. I would much rather spend this amount of money for a greater value and overall experience. I was most flabbergasted about how small and cold the tacos we ordered were.

Cocktails and sushi we ordered were good but again not worth the money.

Service was slower than we would have liked but our server was fine.

Would not return.

nobu is nobu. it is a legendary icon & cathedral of modern dining born in nyc & the food is delicious & the service spot on & efficient- like a machine. i'm proud to say it last nite was my 1st time dining there & not my last -when that next big check come in. nobu can & does rest on some laurels: the jalapeño spiced sashimi starters the marinated shrimp on that bed of greens & the black cod that can be served thru eternity- everything over several courses was good- but some were excellent. for the price point & success some douchey attitudes & touristy obnoxiousness will follow but it does cater well to the fragile but needed bubble of romance. my wife & i are nyers & enjoyed our 19th anniversary dinner there v.much♡ & will likely return to sample more of the menu.
i would prefer the music more atmospheric or even classic compared to trendy modern hotel buddha-bar tho: a minor complaint.

wonderful waiters but very long waits for drinks for such a top notch restaurant, i think this is just a staffing shortage and not at all a remark on our wonderul waiter… but something for the price i would want to see improved i think we were sitting for about 10 minutes before first ask

Very good food tiny servings leads to big bills but it’s once in a while (for me).

Quite possibly the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. And the crispy rice, spicy tuna appetizer was incredible!!!

We were running late. No one picked up the phone even after 6+ tries.

Went there for my boyfriend birthday the food and service was amazing . our waiter was very courteous and helpful with the menu and we were very pleased w our meal. Definitely going back

Have never had a bad meal at Nobu. Everything is good - but somethings are exceptional. Don't be afraid to get a salad - the one with grilled shrimp is amazing. Always get the rock shrimp. The service is always perfect.

Food was delicious, and most importantly, I was seated even tho certain invites were not present. Most restaurants are not as accommodating.

I’ve always heard about nobu but finally got to experience it for myself and it didn’t not disappoint it may have been one of the best meals I’ve ever had staff was fast and friendly answered all your questions and explained everything every step of the way food was absolutely amazing great over experience

10/10 recommend making plans on going to Nobu Downtown. The only thing that I could critique is the coffee.

Honestly, the food wasn’t horrible, the service wasn’t horrible, it just did not meet expectations. The quality of the food and fish was exceptional, but the dishes need a redo. The quality of the fish is overshadowed by the fact that the dishes are painfully average.

definitely reccomend nobu! my favorite dishes were the black cod miso and shishito den miso. they are a must!! the crispy rice with spicy tuna was delicious as well.

My first time, it was a dream! Definitely coming back.

Very high end and luxurious. Had high expectations for this place but a bit disappointed with the menu options and serving style of (it comes out as it’s ready) had to eat in front of my girlfriend to avoid getting the food cold. Her food came out just as a finished my plate. Been to many high end restaurants and this one really took the small portion size trophy if there ever was one. The tacos were delicious but the size of my thumb. Only thing that was missing was the caviar *sarcasm*. I would only come back for a picture and the location tag on my Instagram story.

While the atmosphere was very nice (downstairs way cooler than up), the food was not memorable. Don’t get me wrong. Everything was good. Even very good. But it was pedestrian fox done very well rather than unique and interesting food done extraordinarily.

FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Phenomenal Customer Service! Thank you Wilson for making our first time at Nobu a blast!!
