Nobu Downtown | Restaurant
A great time. Our first visit. We'll be back!!! Can't wait for the new one in ATL!!
Awesome! Simply awesome!!! From the minute we stepped through the door to the minute we left... everything was stupendous!!!!
Ordered table for 2 persons and got table with another people...
Each and every item was delicious! Service was impeccable! Highly recommended
Fantastic Restaurant, excellent food and service. Waiter was very helpful and recommended some fabulous courses.
With many visits in between it’s just so good!
Will be back again. Wonderful dining experience and perfect to share with friends.
Consistently some of the best sushi you can find. Although a bit pricey, definitely worth it.
Nice place with amazing food! Service very good!
Drunk belligerent patrons that bothered us and restaurant did nothing about it. Not as good overal as the old Tribeca Nobu.
PERFECT AS ALWAYS. GREAT FOOD, LOVELY ROOM AND ATTENTIVE SERVICE.
My wife was like how you find about this place. I told her just enjoy. Just want to say thanks to my waiter Joshua L he was on point with everything when I do go back I would ask for him. My wife was very please with the sitting and the food. I recommend this please who have taste.
While it's true that Nobu is expensive; two drinks and meal came out to $310 and that's without tip. That said, it was worth every single penny! The service was mint, dead on. The food was delicious and was served in a relaxed manner, was not rushed at all. We ordered whatever the 'specials' were, mainly on the recommendation of our waiter Brian, who was beyond professional and on his game. I'll be back every other month for sure, not waiting for a special occasion.
First time at Nobu. Menu a bit confusing but after this initial visit and trying some of the dishes we will be prepared on our next visit.
Ambience is very nice and the food was very good.
The food and service was great as always. However, this was the first time we had dessert. What a pleasant surprise! The lime bar and chocolate brownie bar were unbelievable. Will save room for dessert in the future every time.
every time we go it seems like we get a server still in training. His suggestions were delivered with confidence but didn't seem so knowledgeable once we got the item.
Amazing food, as always and the service was exceptional. It was our first time at the Downtown location (NY) and the staff was amazing with recommendations and easy paced food service. All in all a true NOBU experience.
Service, ambiance and food was amazing! Love Nobu.
Great food and experience. Definitely recommended for foodies. 1st time sushi eaters need not apply.
Second time at its 'new' downtown location. Second time ordering the short rib tacos, artichoke appetizer and avocado handrolls. Couldn't resist! Also enjoyed the gin martini for the second time.
My husband and I were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary, and I think Nobu Downtown was the perfect location.
Nobu Downtown is average. Compare to other Nobu locations this is not where I wanted to come dine twice.
We could not have been happier with our meal at Nobu. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hosts went out of their way to seat us in a quiet area. The food was incredible, and our waiter was extremely helpful and kind. I can’t say enough great things about our dinner!
Truly superb courses were wagyu dumplings, yellowtail with jalapeno, soba fritters, miso cod and the whiskey cappuccino dessert. Everything else was outstanding.
Best sushi I've ever tasted. The blue fin tuna was the best. The waygu was like butter.
My family had a great time. The kitchen was a bit slow so we received complimentary dessert. The food was great, portions were small but over all, we had a great Sunday family dinner.
The food was great the cocktails were delicious. I had three Mia margaritas! The ambiance was great. I love the fact that there were no shared tables! Each party has the privacy of their own table nothing set too close. Overall great experience.
The Miso black cod is excellent but the portions are small compared to the price ( 42$ ). The side isn’t included.
Nice location and attentive service
Really not worth the fortune you’re going to spend. Nobu LOVES the smell of its own farts.
Delicious and satisfying every time! Omakase for Valentine’s Day was so good! We prepared and filling.
Always has been stellar. The food was wonderful but the service was SUPER SLOW. I know it's not the norm so I will be back!
A friend wanted to try the Downtown venue. It was surprisingly good
This was a great experience but we had to wait a really long time for our food but when it came the food was extraordinary. Our waiter was fantastic.
Food very good. Some bites exceptional. First time at this location. Ambience - or lack thereof - missed the mark. I felt like I was in a Vegas restaurant. Miss the old Tribeca location.
The food, service and ambiance are all terrific. My only gripe is that on the day Nobu called to confirm our reservation they informed us that they may need our table back in two hours from seating because of other reservations that they had taken. This is a first for me. If they have a time policy that should be known at the time a reservation is made, especially when a reservation is called for 30 days in advance.
How does this place still get away with being so high and mighty. The sushi is commercial at best and our waiter was extremely rude.
Food is marginal and not worth the price. We were called to have reservation confirmed one evening prior and were told that we would need to be out of our table by 9 pm. I have never heard of a restaurant calling to confirm and at the same time tell you when you are expected to leave. Place had a bad vibe overall.
Nobu is completely overrated and with the food and prices they serve up you will be better off dining somewhere else
Nobu never disappoints- only draw back is you must guide them on the last sushi tray of else they go over the top
I have eaten there six times in three months with 5+in the group and each time they present fresh great food.
My only complaint, is the wait staff ALWAYS try’s to upsell instead of honest straight forward. I wish Nobu took the Japanese approach to no tipping - it would make a more honest staff.
Most important - fresh amazing food!!!
It was honestly the best restaurant I’ve ever tried in NYC! The food was amazing (I was impressed by every part of the meal). The service was excellent. Prices are high but I highly recommend it for a good occasion.
Worst service I've experienced in my 10 years living in NYC. Every employee we encountered was rude, they rushed the courses, and the food itself was mediocre at best. This is by far the worst Nobu I've been to - as an organization they should be ashamed of this location as it tarnishes their reputation. I recommend trying the Midtown location, or one of the many other great sushi spots in NYC.
Portions were extremely small! Left hungry and first had to go out for dinner!
