Went with my coworkers for the Restaurant Week Lunch, and the restaurant was beautiful and the food was terrific. We were seated downstairs and while the restaurant was quite empty at lunchtime, I'm not sure why they seated us directly next to a family with loud children. Overall though, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back.
This is the second time I've gone for lunch during restaurant week. This time it was worth it. The last time which was over 15 years ago was on a mob scene and the choices were not particularly wonderful. This time the was a feeling of relaxed dining and the food choices were delicious. It pays to give second chances.
A friend & I went for lunch during Restaurant Week. The new space is big, beautiful & very conveniently located. Even though the RW menu was somewhat limited, we both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch; our dishes were elegant, delicious & perfectly prepared. The meal wonderfully exemplified the caliber & artistry of Nobu. Service was friendly, helpful & fast.
What a blessing to work downtown during Restaurant Week, and to have your birthday fall during this week. My daughter and I went to Nobu for the Restaurant Week menu, which is a spectacular value. She finally got to try the famous Black Cod. She's decided to get a high paying job so she can afford many return trips. Maybe even when it is not Restaurant Week. Go, it is a steal at $29 for lunch.

From a native Japanese point of view, foods were delicious! We went there for restaurant week 2017 summer, and chose restaurant week menu, but still it taste good.
I love that they gave us a small sweets souvenir. That was lovely! I may come back for the regular menu.
Food was great for restaurant week!
Restaurant week is an excellent marketing gimmick and I think Nobu Downtown did very good.
Last week I was another restaurant for restaurant week (where I regularly go and eat something) their restaurant week service and menu were really bad and I do not think to go there any more. I would liked to mention previous restaurant to clarify that how important is Restaurant Week and it is not hard to tell that Nobu got this event seriously and did best!

Great and comfortable place. Food portions were just enough. We went to celebrate a birthday during summer restaurant week, so it was a set menu. It was delicious.
Came for a birthday lunch and Restaurant week. Drinks were terrific even non-alcoholic concoctions. Service was excellent! We all had the appetizer of Nobu tacos (3) small Tapas size, and shared the shishito peppers which were fabulous. I had Artic Char with crispy spinach that was terrific and a good size portion. My co-workers had the skirt steak and the miso cod. Much smaller portions for dishes but tasted great. Dessert was a fruit panacotta also very good. Loved the new location with the high gold gilded ceiling and marble in the bar/lounge area, and lovely chic lower level restaurant. We'll definitely be back as it's in a prime location behind the Millenium Hilton. Just delicious food, beautiful presentation, great service and elegant ambiance.
The interior is truly spectacular--especially at the entry level.
I visited during restaurant week recently and was seated on this main
entry level amidst the marble columns and swirling calligraphic symbols.
A backlighted circular bar dominates the center of this space with dining
around the perimeter as well as seating at the bar.
While the service was cordial, a different server brought each course in an
almost robotic manner.
The first course of assorted tacos (3) was miniscule (1 bite each)and quite ordinary.
The arctic char with crispy baby spinach was perfectly done and delicious--
the highlight of the meal! The spinach was really more of a garnish than a vegetable.
The yogurt panna cotta dessert topped with berries was served in small stemmed wine glass and was basically 2 spoons full---disappointing.
If the servers had shown even the slightest interest in their jobs it would have made
the dining experience more pleasant.
I would definitely visit again----for a drink at the bar in this amazing space.
Perhaps it was just the menu for restaurant week that was a disappointment, but this is really
the time a restaurant should be willing to show off their best.

Food was excellent for restaurant week. Nothing unique that bowled me over but the cooking techniques clearly reflected in the food - fish was perfectly cooked, spinach was crisp and garlicky, and dessert of panna cotta was just right for me. Not too sweet at all.
However, the service towards the end left a little to be desired. NO ONE in fine dining starts wiping down a table while guests are still seated. Its not like it was messy or anything either. And a server does NOT stretch across the face of a guest to place a water glass of a dish - he/she needs to move close to the guest and place the dish. But a very positive experience overall. Great vibe and atmosphere.
