Nobu- Atlantis Paradise Island
Get the wagyu cooked at table and the toro
Our reservation was at 9pm and we were seated promptly and at a nice two seat table in the main dining room. I was a little sad when the Uni had run out. Until our server Ian found me what might have been the last piece in the restaurant! So happy. :) Always a great experience and the servers go beyond every time. Thanks again Ian.
We frequent the miami location as well as the one in nassau, and both are identical for quality. Simply the best sushi in the world in my opinion!
I love the yellow tail with jalapeño, the wagyu gyoza, the toro, uni, and the unagi. Simply surreal!
And the topper was the dessert. Had the brûléed vanilla cheesecake with passion fruit sorbet and am honestly in belief it is the perfect dessert.
Thank you for consistently amazing our taste buds
Sushi was perfect and the service was top notch! Our waiter Shane was attentive and very professional. Very loud club atmosphere. Drinks were very strong and worth the higher cost finally.
If you’ve been to Nobu in other cities and are expecting the same experience, don’t. Waiter did not make suggestions or help guide the dining process like they do in Vegas and the food came out luke warm at best.
I always love Nobu and it is a highlight of my family Atlantis trips. This time, the crispy rice with tuna was so good I have been craving it ever since. I love the pineapple vodka based drink as well, and the sushi was delicious. I had some members of my party with allergies and ordered 2 meat apps. The taco with beef is supposed to be good. It was sooo tiny but so expensive. The service was good except for a very very strangely over friendly server. It was funny for a minute but then it continued to the point that it was uncomfortable and strange. Other than that, I would probably find here more than once per trip if it weren’t sooooooo expensive. Now with high VAT and service charge, it has gone past super expensive
Great food great service
Stayed at the Atlantis last week and was looking forward to eating at Nobu again (went last time there a few years ago). When I had the concierge check to see what night was available, she called and was told the there were no tables all week (it was April vacation week). Later that day I went on Open Table and lo and behold - we got a table! Way to go! Dinner was as good as I remember - yes, it is expensive, but it is really really good. Our table staff was very pleasant and we were very comfortable with the level of service provided. After dinner we decided to have a cocktail at the bar before leaving, and that was actually the best part of our experience. My wife and I had the best conversation with the best bartender I have ever met - Mario. He was so attentive, very engaging, despite a bust bar, and made an effort to see how we were enjoying our vacation, what plans we had, etc. And on top of it - his drinks were amazing. The night before we were leaving Atlantis, we decided to swing by Nobu again and have a final cocktail. We were warmly greeted again by Mario, who not only remembered us, but also what we had ordered three nights ago. He even remembered our plans for a day trip to Rose Island and asked us about that. We had another very genuine and pleasant discussion on a variety of topics. Mario was by far the happiest, most genuine and engaging person we met on our trip. I sure hope that this finds its way to the management team at Nobu, and that he is recognized for his unbelievable level of customer service. Mario is the best representative that they could hope for.
One of the gems of Atlantis! Expensive but delicious.
Fantastic fresh sashimi offerings. Wonderful Rock shrimp! We just order a few of everything here!
We were so excited to dine at Nobu on our Atlantis Vacation. This was the first reservation we made once we booked the trip, 3 months in advance. The food was delicious (we loved the mini tacos, maki rolls, and sizzle plate). However, the service was terrible. The restaurant was not even full and we could never find out waiter. Drinks took 25 mins to arrive. Overall we were treated as if we were a pain. We added on another sushi roll at the end and not only did the waiter seem annoyed, but then tried to get us to pay before it came. There were dirty, unbiased tables everywhere. It was really hard to enjoy the experience when we were being treated like a nuisance and could barely get our waiters attention.
The hostess was extremely rude. Indicating to my husband that because the reservation was booked under my app that he wasn’t paying the bill. Which Isn’t even a topic of discussion as Openable is a means to reserve and not a place to indicate who is covering the bi
Nobu is ridiculously expensive and it takes a lot to shock me. Dinner for 4 was 750 and we left HUNGRY and we are not big eaters. 4 small pieces of tuna sashimi was 36 dollars. Crab tempura for 4 tiny pieces was 48. While everything was tasty we felt robbed. We are not going back. If they fix the portions maybe.
Get any thing with Tuna!! Black Cod with miso - Wowzer!
Thought it was overrated. Service was extremely slow and didn’t really even know who our waiter was as multiple people dropped off food without making a connection with us. I’ve been to Nobu in Newport Beach, Las Vegas and New York and this location ranks last
Food was delicious but small portions.
Food was great as usual. Ambiance is lively and fun. Wait staff was helpful and attentive.
The food and service were good. I was a bit let down though because I was hoping for spectacular. I mistakenly thought it had a michelin star. My sister was put out because she had no green onion on her miso soup. This is apparantly very important to her. I didnt find anything in particular wrong with the food, I just dont think it was worth the price. I wish I had investigated this "star" more carefully.
I have previously been to Nobu in Miami and loved the experience so much that I booked Nobu Bahamas months before our vacation. Although the sushi was as good as I remembered we had a bad experience with our server. When we got our bill it was correct (tip is included) and we signed off on it and received another receipt at the end that had added $5 onto it. It’s an obvious server scam I have encountered traveling many times. I however did not think Nobu was the type of place where you had to watch out for scams like this that are targeted at tourist not reading their bill. One might think it’s an accident but unfortunately I know the server industry very well and while in Canada this has never ever happened to us but it happens all the time on vacation because servers know many customers don’t read their bill. It’s no accident. Triple check your bill.
Food was very good. Not as good in quality as NYC or Vegas Nobu, but still very good. Service was very good for The Bahamas. Everything is laid back, but overta very good time.
Excellent food as always, but overcrowded and mediocre/slow service.
Food was goid
They should have wireless terminals for payment and entering of pin codes. You have to go into a crowded busy back area. Somewhat of a pain.
Food is good but service is terrible. Forgot it was a birthday celebration. They as we are about to pay they bring out the birthday dessert and charge us for it (we didnt pick what they brought out)
I was surprised by the negative reviews I saw for Nobu-Atlantis Paradise Island. This was by far our favorite meal of our stay and our service was wonderful. The food is expensive, but if you're eating at Nobu I think you expect that. Overall the food quality and service were great and we would definitely return!
Delicious as always!
We had to wait to be seated, which was fine but nothing was communicated to us and we stood there for at least 5-7 minutes before someone explained what was going on. Then we were seated and no menus, water, anything were brought to us (10 minutes) until I finally flagged someone down. Once we got a waiter he was fine but nothing like other Nobu experiences we've had or even other restaurants on the Atlantis property.
We had a 9pm reservation but were made to feel like we were being rushed out. All the food was delivered at once and we were told the kitchen was closing at 10:15.
The food was still excellent but because of the strange service and rushed meal it took away from the overall experience.
I was thoroughly disappointed. We have eaten at Nobu in Miami, and NYC. Much different experience. The spicy tuna rolls were very disappointing. Nothing special at all. In fact, mall sushi is better. The Bahamian roll, also weak. Would not go back. NOT what I expected from Nobu.
A wonderful start to a well deserved vacation!
Terrible waste of SO MUCH MONEY. Such a disappointment, all around.
Horrible service acted as if we inconvenienced him forgot us
The McDonald’s of Nobu. If you enjoy watching Dora the Explorer, Incredibles 2 while having a iPhone flashlight pointed at your face this is the place for you.
Our waiter was waiting on a large party of about 20 people and he could barely wait on us because he was so overwhelmed. Our food came before our drinks and we had questions about gluten free options that he couldn’t answer because he was so busy.
It was very good service and good food
Waited 50 minutes for chicken teriyaki, fire alarms went off, GM comped my food and drinks
The service was excellent, the black cod with miso was great, but everything else was just average & definitely not worth the price
We couldn’t get over the price for such bad food. Also, server was nearly nonexistent
Food was amazing! Service was great. The crispy tuna and hamachi roll were my favourite. It was pricey but everything is in Bahamas. I would go back next time in Bahamas.
We ate at the sushi bar. We gave few ideas what type of sushi we like and dislike. Soon he was making amsolutly delicious creations. Loved every bit. Our server was efficent and fun. He even sang a song to us for our anniverasary. It is not cheap, but the fish is flown in from Japan, so it is expected.
The service was extremely negligent - it took forever for us to get drinks, water glasses went unfilled. They certainly didn’t make it feel like high end dining.
