Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

Pros: Great, friendly, professional service, seated immediately, one of us had an excellent dish, the other's was good. Cons: This is a huge restaurant, very noisy, elbow to elbow banquette seating for couples. Weirdly, there were quite a few small flies we found ourselves swatting away. Anyway, not the right choice for a romantic/celebratory dinner for two.

Food was great, sushi was delicious, service was fantastic. We didn't care for the jalapeno cauliflour - I love jalapenos and I didn't see or taste jalapenos in this dish at all, just an expensive, basic green sauce. The Rock Shrimp were cooked well but way too much mayonnaise sauce. My husband couldn't even eat them as the were just too slathered in sauce. Everything else was great, loved our waiter and hostesses were friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a nice evening.

Nobu Atlanta has officially won me over! The establishment is beautiful and spotless--but I expected nothing less. I made lunch reservations easily through OpenTable, and parking was a breeze with free garage access directly connected to the hotel. I was seated promptly upon arrival. I had the pleasure of being served by Ladarius P., a kind gentleman with stellar service--and easy on the eyes, might I add! I noticed Nobu offered a lunch prix fixe menu online, so I had to come see for myself. The price point was great for sampling some of their menu favorites. I had zero complaints about the appetizer and entrée; both were excellent. However, I would suggest adding a few stronger dessert options. The mochi ice cream, unfortunately, almost took away from an otherwise perfect meal. Still, I left very satisfied and impressed by the overall experience. Thank you, Ladarius P.! Thank you, Nobu! I have dined at Nobu New York and Nobu Atlanta. Brunch was not anything to write home about. The sushi was dry from sitting out and the music was so loud we could barely hear the waiter.

This was our first time at the Nobu Sunday brunch. An amazing DJ, great people watching, and Nobu puts on an amazing sushi buffet! The traditional section was high quality and made before our eyes, and the hot section had great options in perfect portion sizes. The desserts were beautiful and the gelato was a perfect ending. Service and cocktails were prompt and plentiful. Definitely worth the price point.
