Noble Rot is fantastic. The food is creative, fun, seasonal and often from their roof top garden. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Wine list amazing. Fantastic view, great inside on a winter day in cozy booths or outside on the patio when it is nice out.
Love being there. The owner was working that evening and she adds a lot to the ambience of the place. Our server was delightful well-informed and made some great suggestions about wine.
Great for our team dinner.
Food was excellent and the server was great!
It’s always a treat! We go to noble rot for all our special occasions, the food is always good and bonus points when you snag a booth!
Noble Rot never disappoints! We come here often for the Kentucky Mules, great wine and excellent menu.. Best Happy Hour in town!
Great service in beautiful restaurant. Fun and interesting menus. Food was amazing.
Great food. Well edited wine menu. Lovely views (when it’s not raining).
Birthday celebration with our dear friends from out of town was a hit! Thanks to Josh for the terrific service and the chef for a delicious meal!
Decided to check out this place after reading the positive reviews. My boyfriend and I made a reservation for an early dinner and despite the inclement weather we enjoyed the view and comfortable atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly and took our orders quickly. I enjoyed the creative menu (I ordered the chickpea dish and my boyfriend got the pasta special), but our favorite dishes were probably the desserts (PB&J and chocolate brownie)! I also really liked the soup of the date (potato and sunchokes). We used a gift card since everything was definitely outside of our normal price range, but I'd highly recommend this place for special occasions.
This was a nice experience for a special occasion but the steak was a little overcooked then what we expected but the food overall was pretty good, good service, the dessert was everyone’s favorite. Loved the creme brûlée and brownie
I always have a good time at Noble Rot. Great selection of wines by the glass and a lovely menu. Our waiter was weirdly over attentive, interrupting us every 10-15 minutes. It was a light crowd that night and it seemed like she probably could have just waited for our single. Then, ironically we could not get her attention to pick up credit card.
server was very attentive
We had a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly, the food was amazing, the view was fantastic.
Once again Noble Rot makes its indelible mark on the dining landscape of Portland Dining. Chef Leather Storrs continues to put unexpected pleasure in every bite. Don't pass this Gem up, whether here for a day or here for a lifetime, it's worth the trip. We enjoyed our first Wild Alaska Halibut served perfectly as was the Steak Frites for the carnivore. They have a great Burger for kids of all ages and whoever said Opera Glasses were passe?
Noble Rot is simply one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I don't live in Portland, but when I travel there I frequently find myself going back to this gem of a restaurant.
Always one top of their game and the service is amazing (Thanks Josh!). Great salads and pasta, and a perfect Flat Iron. Wines are reasonable, cocktails exceptional.
Wonderful Great Lovely Delicious Attentive
Extremely fresh food, hand crafted cocktails and select wines. This place rarely misses and is a solid everyday dining option for us. The hand made pasta this trip was particularly delicious.
We loved our evening and it was wonderful in every regard!
Flavors are exceptional
I was extremely pleased all around with my dining experience. My fiancé fell in love with the house “hot sauce”, which he wished they bottled and would sell. Everything from the simple, yet divine salad, to the hot brownie and vanilla ice cream exceeded my expectations.
I cannot wait to come back again, and try new foods based on what’s growing in the garden upstairs.
Server was great! Food very good
First nice day, reserved prior due to weather and roof top, they didnt allow seating outside due to function reserved for two hours later 😒
Excellent food and the view is always amazing. We’ll definitely be back!!!
Great as always, Noble Rot never disappoints. Ray provided great service once again. Looking forward to my next visit.
Lots of interesting menu options and an incredible wine list. Great ambience and views. Easy street parking.
Great meal, outstanding and creative wine list, attentive service, amazing view. I recommend Noble Rot for casual dinner with friends, happy hour or business meals.
The view, the service, and the food were good, but the noise level in the cinderblock outer room was so high I would chose one of many other good restaurants rather than return.
The service is always impeccable. Best Kentucky Mule in PDX. The food is always delicious. Will be back soon!!
Great view, good food. Service could have been better
The overall restaurant was very nice, we got seated in the corner of the enclosed patio which was right next to a concrete column. My date had a wonderful view but I had concrete. The food was excellent and the service was great too. Very friendly and worth going back. They had several tables that would comfortably fit up to 6, so this would be a great small group destination.
Lovely atmosphere inside and impressive views. Pricey menu for no reason, nothing was spectacular and the wine menu was lacking variety.
I love Noble Rot! Great views, good food, excellent drinks, but what really makes this place is the exceptional customer service! Staff seem to really enjoy working here and want to make it a fun experience for their guests. Shout out to Blair who made this a special night with old friends!
Our out of town guests loved it!!
Food, table and the great sunset view.
We usually just go here for their excellent happy hour. The wines served are always very good and a good value. This was our first time here for dinner in many years and everyone enjoyed their meal. What impressed me was that not only was the entree delicious and exceeded our expectations and it was something you would never make at home.
I had heard of Noble Rot but had no idea it was such a cool place! Great ambiance and view! Excellent wine and food! Had the mushroom crusted sturgeon with grilled leeks, over marscapone polenta - rich and delicious. I definitely plan to go back!
Loved the view, the service, the food. I had the half cauliflower roasted with raisins and tangerines it was delicious!
Extremely loud dining experience. Window table provided a nice view of downtown but impossible to enjoy a reasonable conversation.
This was my third time visiting Noble Rot and every single time I'm here I'm always satisfied. Great food, great ambiance, and stellar service. This is our go to spot for bringing friends and family from out of town or any of our special occasions. One of my favorite spots in Portland!
