so many different flavours! absolutely wonderfuly! loved it!
The food and the service was excellent. We can't wait to go to Noble again.
Our server was lovely and the burger was amazing! The views of staring out onto the hustle and bustle of the downtown area was enjoyable!
Our dinner at Noble was truly wonderful. Our server, Neil was lovely and helped to pair our wine perfectly with our meal. The veal cheeks were to die for and my husband loved his mussels and chocolate buttercream dessert. We will definitely be returning.
Amazing service and ambience but sadly combined with terrible, under seasoned food. Both starter, main and dessert were very disappointing
Pricey but worth it in every other way. The food and service are exemplary.
The service was amazing. Our server allowed us to enjoy every little sip and bite. He came by often. Food was amazing.
Our services Kathy was amazing!
Service and food was amazing! One of the best restaurants in Ontario.
My friends and I went there for lunch during the Ice wine festival and to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The food was superb and the service was impeccable. Our server Taylor G was awesome and the manager George came to check on us. My friend also got a complimentary chocolates and flowers. We will definitely be back.
A little overrated. Food was good, not great. Would expect more polished service at an establishment like this one (breakfast and dinner). Ambience was just okay.
Great food and service. A little busy so it too some time to get our meals but it was very worthwhile. Made for a special evening.
Food was good, and well presented. Service was friendly but inattentive
This was our first experience here at Noble. Our server was outstanding. The sommelier was very friendly and helpful with our pairings. The lamb curry soup was outstanding and Daughters has the smoked chicken pasta which had fresh pasta flown in from Italy. I had the Ontario beef filet, which was perfect. Hubby had the bass dish which was very tasty as well. Beautiful decor during the holidays!
The recommendation area doesn't include breakfast or dinner and we went to Noble for both. The food is plentiful for breakfast and delicious. We had Christmas dinner there and it was very delicious. My husband had Turkey and I have beef. Very nice as a change. The wait staff were very friendly and took good care of us for each breakfast we had (4 days) and especially for Christmas dinner
We actually did not get to eat in Noble. We were seated in the room they serve tea as I am guessing that they overbooked. I can only say we experienced the food from Noble. We were seated in very dark drafty corner. It was so dark we had to use the flashlight on the phone to read the menu and see our food. I have sat in this sunroom many times during the day for tea which is lovely during the day, but all the glass windows make it very drafty in the evening and there was no light in the corner we were in. We expressed our unhappiness with not being sat in the Noble dining room and were told the manager presents everyone so there is no choice in our seating. Because this was Christmas Day dinner we did not have much of a choice to leave because nothing else would be open or take reservations at this time. Food was excellent but we were VERY disappointed with the atmosphere. It was so quiet because barely anyone was there they were all in the actual restaurant. No music or anything. I did make my reservations well in advance.
This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Lovely restaurant and great service.
We were seated at a table near the bar which was also the way to the buffet room. This meant we constantly had people passing our table. At times it was quite congested. There were people sitting and standing at the bar which was literally several feet from our table. This did not contribute to a very pleasant dining experience.
Although the food was good we did notice there wasn't traditional stuffing/dressing for the turkey and the beef was quite pink in the middle and cold. Hot plates would have been good since there was quite a walk for some people from the buffet table.
From our table we could hear the piped in music as well as the piano player. Hearing the 2 types of music was quite distracting.
Perhaps consider having the meat and side dishes at one station with the breakfast items at another station and the salad and bread items at another station.
We've gone two years in a row for Christmas brunch and for high tea at various times. Lovely on counts!
The tasting menu with wine pairings was delicious and a wonderful treat. We enjoyed the sommelier's descriptions of his wine choices for each unique course. Each course was a delightful sensation of texture and taste. Although cooked to perfection and tender as velvet, my husband's 20 oz rib steak wasn't as generous as expected due the amount of bone and fat. Excellent friendly professional staff. Lovely window table.
Very attentive staff. This was my daughter's birthday and they made it extra special for a young 7 year old wanting a grown up experience. They even presented her with a red rose at the end of the dinner. Staff were also very accommodating. My husband and I both wanted the salad on the children's menu (!) so they made it for us in big-people's portions. Prince of Wales is always beautifully decorated at Christmas time and it was an exceptional atmosphere again this year. The dining area was magical. Couldn't have been better.
Wonderful evening. Beautiful room, great food and service. Fred the sommelier was excellent!
The atmosphere, service, and food were exceptional! We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. The Christmas decorations were truly spectacular!
It’s a great restaurant and maybe the best in Oakvile. Have known the Chef for many years and just wish he wound come to see his clients more.
Thought it was great. Food was amazing. Decor was ok. Only downside is was asked what occasion are we dining for which was a 50th Birthday and no special service or extras.
Food was bland. Menu needs more current options.
Service was supreme.
Beer was good.
Dinner environment is too noisy. Not enough waiters/waitresses for a 5-star restaurant and they come less attentive to the guests needs. For examples, missing spoon for the pasta we ordered, wine glasses not taken away as we did not order any wine. Extremely salty for side vegetables. Quite disappointed that we had to wait for 40 mins for the first food item to arrive.
Overall quality of service and food for such a 5 star establishment is very disappointing. We have been to other hotels in the Vintage group, such as Millcroft Inn. The restaurants' service and food were equally disappointing. Staff are not trained properly to serve, such as utensil and wine glasses placement.
My fish dish was a diseppointment ... our waiter made up for the bad food . The beef that my husband had was much better so it’s really about what you order .
Incredible food and wine with incredible service. Definitely recommend
There's nothing more lovely than experiencing Niagara on the Lake's beautiful fall colours, wineries and of course the iconic Prince of Wales Hotel. This time we chose to dine in their Noble Restaurant even though we normally come to enjoy the afternoon high tea in early November. We found that their unique menu selection for Fabulicious stood out among the rest so we decided to go there for lunch. The Irish Boxty was even better than we could have ever imagined! It was absolutely delicious and along side we enjoyed warm breads. local wine and a tasty salad followed by a delectable pumpkin dessert!! What a great fall day!
We came for a nice lunch. While the food was good, ambience lovely, service was slow. While our server was nice, he was too you to serve drinks so we waited a long time for our drinks, even longer for food. We each ordered an appetizer and an entiree. Waiting, waiting. And waiting and then appetizer and entree served at the same time French fries were cold. At a place like Noble you expect and deserve better service. What would they do if they were busy?
Food was delicious. Our server Cathy was phenomenal. Very attentive without being overbearing. Would definitely recommend to friends.
We loved the food, service, and ambiance. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
Overpriced for subpar food and service. Clams were full of sand. Bass was sitting in piddle of tasteless juice. Green vegetable was also sumberged in the puddle. Size if the piece of fish was jokingly small. Service was terrible waited forever for my meal or water or anything ended being a 2.5 hr meal. Would never eat here again. Went back to room and ordered onion rings because I was still hungry. You DO NOT get what ypu pay for here
The food and service was exceptional. There was a fair time between courses however we appreciated that it wasn't a rushed meal. Will definitely come back again.
The staff was very accommodating to our food allergies and the food was great. There was a bit of a problem with the bill (unordered item on it) but they fixed that promptly. We've enjoyed Noble before and will go back again.
Our server was great, friendly, helpful and very accomodating.
My meal which was the Prime Rib was disappointing, loved the veg, but the beef was dry and tasteless, the server did bring me some jus to try and help with that, but to no avail. For the price of that meal the beef should have been perfect. It was cooked to the right order (medium rare), but still dry and not at all appetizing.
The atmosphere was very good and the service was pleasant but not spectacular. It was good value for the money and we will definitely return again.
I made these reservations months ago for our one year anniversary. I asked for a special table and noted the occasion. We did not receive anything special. The food was very disappointing especially for how expensive. The service was slow and staff not friendly. I would never recommend nor return to this restaurant.
Our nearly 3 hr.(!) ‘dining experience-ordeal’ was a giant disappointment. Upon arrival the hostess told us we had to wait (we had reservations) in the foyer, so my husband asked if there was a bar- could we at least get a drink & wait there. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no room in the bar area so we went back out & waited in the foyer. As we were seated about 5 minutes later, it seemed odd that we even had to wait because there were clearly many open tables. Water glasses were filled, then the waiter came over after about 5 mins., took cocktail order. We did not receive our drinks for at least 20 mins. The rest of the evening followed a similar pattern- WAITING, WAITING...everything took a ridiculous, unacceptable time to arrive. The waiter walked by our empty glasses numerous times, never stopping to ask if we needed anything. My appetizer soup was barely warm, my husbands steak was filled w/ grizzle. There were other diners around us clearly experiencing issues around long waits for service (one couple, after waiting forever to get their wine, then more waiting for food, finally asked for their check and left. Another group was given an incorrect check which had to be sorted out. The whole scene demonstrated a painfully obvious breakdown in organization and a lack of coordination between the front & back of the House. I can’t tell you how disappointed we were that our anticipated special night out turned into a frustrating waiting game for an only marginal dinner. A serious look at how & why so much could go wrong is strongly suggested if The Noble ‘s reputation is valued.
