Went for brunch. the owner is very cool and interactive with his customers. The server steph never let my cup get to the bottom. The security guards were real cool as well overall great spot definitely coming back.
A cute converted train station with an indoor/outdoor eating area. Food was good (not great). Service was slow. Loud music and light pyrotechnics were unnecessary. There were only 5 tables occupied, and the restaurant speakers were thumping music like a dance club. Overall, it was a decent meal, but we didn't like the atmosphere. Not our thing... Others might like it though...
Made a reservation thinking we would be inside but they put us in their makeshift inside section which was cold and loud. Took 15min for someone to come take our order. Finally came to take our drink order, took another 15min for the drinks to come and one of the drinks was not tasty at all. Waited again for the server to return which he didn't so I had to walk to the bar to request another drink and was given an attitude about it. Finally received the new drink and we ordered our food. Of course that took close to 30min to receive. I had the chicken which was dry, the other dish was a short rib pasta, emphasis on pasta because that's all it was, just had a few shredded pieces of short rib which was disappointing. We asked for a different dish which was a steak medium rare. Ok you can't mess that up right? Wong! That came back and was still moo'ing and kicking. At this point we were just over it and asked for the check. Overall terrible experience with the super slow service (they weren't even busy at all) and the mediocre food. Safe to say, we won't be back there....
Everything was great! The food was delicious. I went in a Wednesday evening and they had live band playing. Great service. Good experience. Can’t wait to go back.
Service was great. Food was cold. Very loud but music was great!
Very loud “Italian” restaurant. Not Italian at all. Intrusive salsa music, flavors kissed mark on all levels (too much lemon and no wine in scampi sauce, unsalted pasta, greasy burnt butter flavored chicken Marsala without any actual Marsala, canned mushrooms, way too much black pepper)
Laser beams, Latin music in an Italian restaurant that requires ID to enter. Will never go again, and when I have to visit this area of NJ, the trip to states island or lower Manhattan is worth it.
We went for our anniversary. I loved the feel and ambiance of the place. Very chill and cool vibes. The attentiveness of the staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was hookah and very good drinks. Food’s presentation was good but food was okay overall. I won’t lie it could have been better. The potatoes were warm and a little uncooked and the chicken was a bit warm as well not your normal hot plate. But the vodka pasta was fantastic, the shrimp scampi app was delicious. Great music. Around 8:30 the music got a bit louder, but it was great music. But overall, the place was a great date night spot, loved the drinks and decor of the restaurant. So get the pasta, the drinks, hookah and enjoy!!!
All i can say is that this place is perfect. My girlfriend and I loved it and will come back. Great music good food perfect drinks
This restaurant is located in an old train station in Elizabeth. Nice interior and a good outdoor seating spot.
Best part of the experience were the drinks. Ordered the short rib parpadelle and the meat was cold, which can only mean they reheated it and put it in the pasta. Although you would think this is an Italian restaurant there was very loud Spanish music blaring the entire time and the place was not crowded at all although it was a Tuesday. Don’t waste the trip to go here.
Very good customer service food and drink were brought out super quick very energetic place we loved it!!
Here are the facts with no judgement, draw your own conclusion.
Arrived at 6:45pm on a Saturday for a 7pm reservation.
Got patted down for weapons at the door by a very polite young man. Greeted by a very sweet hostess who immediately seated us.
I had read that later in the evening DJ/ club type music plays, however it was already playing at a 1 am packed club type volume, at 6:45pm with very few people yet in the building.
The building and decor is very cool consistent with other reviews. Our waiter was also very nice, but clearly a bit inexperienced. I ordered the Branzino and he asked me how I would like it cooked. I answered “completely cooked please”, he said he meant would I like it medium, medium well, etc”
I tried to explain to him that the only fish that you should ask a temperature for is salmon or tuna. That all other fish should just be cooked completely through. He told me that there, they ask for temperature, so I told him I guess well done.
The fish came and it was fine. For $ 32, in Elizabeth, not Manhattan, I expected a much larger portion.
My wife got the hanger steak, that she wanted medium, it came well done, and also tasted fine. Again also very small portions. Way more potatoes than steak. It was about six already sliced pieces. The shrimp appetizer was very good.
When the bill came, I was surprised to see 20% gratuity already added, even for a table or two, and that it was not mentioned to us prior. So keep a lookout for that. It is a small footnote at the bottom of the fourth page of the online menu. Three suggestions for management:
1- Maybe keep the volume of the music at a level people can people actually talk over dinner until it turns into some sort of club, maybe until around 9 PM?
2- Educate the staff that unless it’s tuna or salmon, they should not be asking what temperature the fish should be cooked. I assume the chef knows that it’s simply a problem with the wait staff.
3- Verbally tell patrons about the 20% tip added.
The food was great.
They seemed to be understaffed the day of my reservation.
Also had to sit outside because there was a private party in the inside and it would of been nice to know this in advance.
Loud music but I guess that’s ok if that’s what ppl are going for.
Decor was cute.
Great music and energetic atmosphere. The service was good not great. Our actual server was excellent however the food took quite some time. We had a 7PM reservation and settled into our table about 7:15. The bread was warm, fresh and delicious as well as the butter. The appetizers were served fairly quickly however the entree’s did not come out until close to 8:45. Branzino was excellent. We also ordered pasta with vodka sauce and asked for shrimp on top. It was brought out in a separate bowl (strange) the side order of spinach had promise with garlic and shallots however it was super salty and we had to send it back.
The pistachio cheesecake cake was divine and had a wonderful texture.
a bit loud for conversation dinner, otherwise great
Our servers were absolutely wonderful. From their recommendations to their service. Drinks were amazing and the best I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to come back.
Service was great, awesome music, not overcrowded, easy parking
Great ambiance. Food few dishes were great but few were below average.
Charming place, food was outstanding, live music gave a romantic touch. I would definitely recommend this place even if the surroundings look sketchy .
The restaurant is beautiful. Service is very slow. It’s also very loud.
Noah surprised us a lot, my friend and I went to try it for the good reviews that the restaurant had and we were delighted, the food is amazing we tried the burrada, octopus and the salmon, the presentation is super cute, the drinks leave you speechless, please try the Sunset Olivia. On the other hand, the service was very good. even the manager was super courteous and attentive to all the customers in the restaurant. I never expected that they have DJ after 9pm and if you like hookah they have it.
This place was beautiful! From the artwork to the dining experience to the plates and drinks ! We loved it! Date night or girls night here is perfect !!! The music was great and so was the DJ!!!!! Def coming back soon!!! Ohh and they have outdoor hookah!!!! Perfect !! 10/10
I was somewhat disappointed. 1st the appetizer (simple calamari) took 45 min to come out. the music was overly loud to the point the waitress could not even hear our order. we got filet mignon and salmon. while it was not that bad it was nothing to rave about. Martinis were weak and overall it was a slow flow of service and it was not even that busy on a sunday midday. unfortunately will prob not dine here again
Noah has become one of my favorite restaurants. Aside from it being beautiful inside, the staff is attentive and always knowledgeable. Best of all, the food is amazing! 10/10 every time I visit!
Had a great date night with my girlfriend, considering we are huge FOODIES this place has a delicious Margherita flatbread pizza and as for the entrees... I thought mine was delicious.. my girlfriends plate outshined mine! And I don’t even like mushrooms but her shrimp with mushroom sauce was fantastic! I got the pappardelle s.. it was great though.
But their drinks specials are definitely recommended! Check it out! The parking and location is a little awkward but they have parking! Even under COVID 2020 we still had a great time
