   We had lunch on Friday. The £10.00 special was great value. Quality was not compromised because it was a special deal. Five times we have had this deal and it has been excellent every time. The young lady that served us was excellent. Higher recommend Room 23.

   Been here many times before but sorry to say last night it is clear your standard has dropped. The service was ok but presentation of food extremely poor. Croquettes on a plate with no trimmings and the main course of beef ragu very disappointing too. Then the pudding, well I had the tart with clotted cream, more like frozen cream, certainly not clotted and no taste with the tart. Again just a tart with cream on a plate which looked like it had been thrown on with no care to presentation. I don't know what has happened here, whether a change of chef, personnel, but whatever someone needs to sort it out pretty quickly. Would be pleased to now receive your feedback. Peter Butler.

   Delicious food, we sat outside in the garden courtyard, the music was a little loud and the waitress kindly turned it down for us. Always gorgeous food and great service, we love it here…

   We went mid afternoon on a Saturday so it was quiet. The food is very nice - around £25 per meal. Nice ambience and service

    It’s a great bistro - the staff are attentive- the wine list certainly varied… but the food is really ordinary and I really don’t want it to be! I had the lamb at £32 and it tasted off and was really salty… It’s a really nice place - but neither fine food or pub grub.. I hope they crack it…
