Willows Awake is a beautiful setting for a nice relaxing dinner. If the weather cooperates and there are tables available, choose the outdoor porch for views of the vineyards. The food was excellent (Lemon caper chicken and Braised pork were our choices) and the service was equally so. We will be back soon - highly recommended!
Willows Awake is a pleasant change from chain restaurants and while what they serve is very good, their menu is not as broad as we are accustomed to.
Our only real disappointment was that our favorite Willows Awake wine (Haut d' T'aut) was not on the dinner menu. If you have not tasted this wine we encourage you to attend one of their wine tasting events where we were introduced to its incredible flavor.
Great atmosphere and even better food 💯
Very nice place with excellent food and a very pleasant staff even with an event going on felt very well taken care of.
The apps that we had were very good. We had mussels and the cheese fondue. The drinks were also good. We had a problem with the meal. 5 out of 8 got the burger. 3 of us could not it as it was so dry. A couple of orders got mixed up also. Overall, the dining experience was not to our satisfaction
Great food! Second time there and enjoyed all!!
It is nice to have a quality restaurant in this area.
The server was very attentive and professional.
My sister and I planned a girls night with a third dear friend at Willows Awake and it was the perfect spot. The facilities are beautiful, new and sparkling clean. We ate inside, but there are awesome views of the vineyard from any place you sit (inside or out).
The food was delicious. We split a charcuterie for two (between the three of us) and there was more than enough. I wish I had taken a picture, but there were cheese curds, a delightful cheddar, and an aged blue cheese along with olives, figs, a variety of meats, breads, crackers and spreads. We had the mussels, the scallops and a one-person salmon board. I would highly recommend the scallops and the salmon board - the mussels were good, but the broth needed a little more zip. Still a delightful treat.
We split a bottle of sparkling rose and a chenin blanc. We did try the housemade reds that were available and they were tasty.
We had a wonderful evening. The food and drinks were great and everyone was very friendly and helpful,
The four of us had a wonderful experience. We started at the winery then moved to the restaurant for dinner. Though there were a couple minor service glitches (water not being delivered until the third request and not all entrees were delivered at the same time, two orders of the same items looked and tasted a bit different), the flavor and presentation of the meals were beautiful and delicious. We ended the evening taking another bottle of wine outside to the fire pit with made the evening perfect.
We all look forward to this spot becoming part of our repeated Maine experience thanks to the owners and staff. They made everyone feel welcome.
We went to celebrate our friends anniversary and the food, atmosphere, and service were excellent! We will definitely be returning!
Our server was very slow and not very personable. She kept forgetting a few things.
The company, the food and the setting contributed to a pleasant summer evening.
Who knew that Maine Deviled Eggs really WOULD be more amazing than any other deviled egg? They were awesome and the Charcuterie for two - also awesome. The restaurant is beautiful - be sure to check out ALL of the chandeliers, and the view from the porch.. Mmmm.
You should go here if you'd like a stellar moment in a beautiful venue, with awesome ambience.
We are visiting from DC and heard about this gem in Leeds that we had to experience. The food, wine and atmosphere met every expectation for a leisurely and satisfying lunch. The carrot bisque was wonderful; the mussels were delightful (I wanted to take-away the sauce for an “extra” treat) and the charcuterie board hit the spot with our choice of the King Red (Cabernet Sauvignon).
My second time coming and it was great! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, as well as very attentive. They definitely seek to provide an awesome experience for their guests. The food was almost (only almost) too beautiful to eat! Definitely recommending Willows Awake to my family and friends.
I would recommend this place for a nice Sunday brunch to any of my friends. The grounds are beautiful. The restaurant itself is very nice and the food and service was very good. I am looking forward to going back to try some of their wines.
Everything was great, but we waited 45ish mins to get our food.
Restaurant was busy, food was not as good as first time I was there. My soup was served cold, my husband’s salad was served without dressing and his scallops were undercooked. My chicken was rubbery and mashed potatoes were grainy, food was not served hot. Chocolate torte dessert was very tasty, but I’d like more whipped cream. Expensive for the quality of the food we received on this visit. Waitress was great and it was obvious they were busy and had a hard time handling it, but I’ll be back there because I know they’re capable of better and I want to support local small businesses.
The whole atmosphere at WillowsAwake is fabulous. Beautiful fields overlooking the vineyards, quiet and peaceful. The food service was very slow so allow extra time, the meal we ordered was pricey and serving was small but did taste good. Wish the variety of wines included more of their own and again were pricey. It was an enjoyable experience however.
Such a beautiful place. This is our 4th visit. The food was delicious, but the arugula was gritty for both my husband and I.
The meals are pricey, but we don't mind if our experience is a good one.
The service was horrific. Not sure what happened, but our waitress left. We waited a LONG time and then finally flagged another waitress to ask for water. We finally got our meal after a fashion. Our new waitress was very nice!
The seats are hard and uncomfortable indoors. My husband says he will never go back, which is unfortunate as we are so excited to have a nice place that is close by.
Thanks for asking our advice!
Amazing wine, outstanding charcuterie boards, nestled in a beautiful farmhouse chic setting. A must visit!!!
I hope not too many people find this place. I’d like to keep it all to myself!
Our first visit to this fairly new restaurant was very positive. Our friends highly recommended it and we were not disappointed. The Willows Awake wine was very good, the appetizer (Charturie) was generous and delicious, and main course (one tuna and one pasta) was excellent for each of us. Despite being very busy, the staff was very friendly, prompt and efficient. Our only minor complaint is that despite being very modern and bright and cheery, the acoustics are a bit annoying since it was quite noisy and we old folks like a more peaceful ambiance. But we did get used to the noise level quickly so it was OK. I wonder if they can add a few noise suppressing panels.
It was our first time visiting No. 10 @ Willows Awake. The food, atmosphere & service were wonderful. What a treat locally!
Absolutely love this place! Came for dinner and can’t wait to return for brunch. Beautiful atmosphere and great food and wine - a hidden gem for sure.
Love this place. Not a ton of choices but reasonable. My only qualm is the beach seating. It’s very comfortable but is too low for the table. Awkward!
The service was friendly and the food excellent. The room is a little noisy, but it would not stop us from coming back.
Limited menu but excellent food. Very good wine, drink options. Casual atmosphere. Server very knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful time! One of our local faves. Thank you! It's stunning.
Amazing ambiance and delicious food. The service was very quick and nice. We all really loved the rustic, but glam feel.
Food was very good and the setting is beautiful. There was a group in the upstairs area enjoying themselves,And the metal structure seemed to reflect the Sound so it seemed much noisier than it probably was. Overall, very pleased and surprised to have such a nice place so close to us. We had the charcuterie plate and scallops with a delightful orange ginger sauce with a bit of curry flavor, It was delicious. Will be back soon
Willows number 10 was outstanding! Recommend it to anyone:-)
I had come several times for lunch and dinner last year and loved the menu. I was very disappointed in the lack of choices for lunch. They were nothing special. Last year you had the pizza and the big salads, which were fabulous. I have recommend it to lots of people but would think twice about it, at least for lunch. The prices were a bit pricey for a sandwich.
If you decide to sit outside it can be buggy, but overall a nice atmosphere and good meal.
Good food and nice ambiance
Beautiful place, excellent food and service. Highly recommend it.
Love this place! Charming atmosphere and delicious food.
We went for a quiet date night the food was amazing we shared the charcuterie board, my husband had the braised pork and I enjoyed the scallops. Service was amazing and the view of the vineyard was spectacular! We will definitely go again.
Beautiful spot, well presented food. It felt pretty expensive to do an appetizer, drinks and dinner here. For the price, it doesn’t feel like a good weeknight option but more special occasion.
