Great beer selection. Small but fun menu. Nice place to drink.
This place is a hidden gem with amazing food! Can't wait to go back.
Food was phenomenal!
Very limited menu but amazingly professional service- great for drinks but we were here for dinner and menu was quite slim. I would highly recommend but go online and look at the menu first!
Great brunch menu!
Went for happy hour and was very pleased with the experience. Nice selection of beers along with descriptions to help diner decide. Menu is limited but the blue cheese plate the bartender suggested to pair with our stout was excellent and the pairing was synergistic. Service was great and the bill was reasonable. Highly recommended.
Wow! Great amazing food and beer. We decided to get a few options to share so we could try multiple dishes. Everything was amazing. Loved the radishes and dip!
They sadly ran out of the things we wanted to order but the lobster roll and dumplings we had instead were divine!
Very attentive and helpful service.
Recommend this place!
I would leave 10 STARS if i could! No Anchor hits a home-run on every plate and drink on the menu. My brother and I first came here while visiting Seattle seven months ago. We got hooked and made the trip back specifically to dine here. The have a wide range of specialty beers and drinks. We each enjoyed the 3 hour tasting menu and I can say it was absolutely divine. Every course perfectly appointed and better than the last. The chef is very creative and inventive with his pairing and plating. He really thinks outside the box and serves up a flavor so unique and decadent. We will return many times. Get here if you can! You won’t be disappointed.
$20 for the cheese plate was a bit ridiculous given the amount of cheese given, but it was tasty. I think it's irritating that they don't allow you to taste a beer before ordering it. I get that that can be abused, but one taster is a reasonable request. My only option was to order a 4oz pour and ended up getting stuck with a beer I couldn't drink. Needless to say, I likely won't be back.
We arrived a bit for our brunch reservations and they were more than accommodating. Great service and great food!
Service was excellant. Very friendly and responsive without being in your face. Food was perfect.
Great food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, at night the noise level make it undesirable. However, lunch is tolerable and in warm weather a seat outside lets one enjoy the excellent food and good service.
Great beer selection and tasty morsels
Small restaurant, Small dishes. Food + Drink slightly overpriced, but good. Beer selection is good. Not worth travelling across town for, but if you're nearby, it's a nice find. 3 stars. It's good but the price point is just little expensive, and the quality isn't quite high enough to match.
No Anchor is a great spot to enjoy Pacific Northwest ingredients prepared and presented and a fun and creative way.
Very small and charming restaurant. It is more of a bar with a limited food menu. Good for a drink and appetizer rather than a sit down dinner. Service was very good.
Came here before the opera. Beer choices were perfect, not a bad one in the bunch. Food was straightforward but excellent. Would go here again.
The food here is consistently terrific. This is somewhat surprising, as the highlight is supposed to be the (very worthy) much touted beer. Roasted radishes -excellent, chicory sald -excellent , lamb sweetbreads - excellent, roasted cauliflower, the one vegetarian entree -excellent. Only possible downside (didn't bother me, but did bother my firend) is it is quite loud. Blame it on the beer.
Try the "deconstructed apple pie" Granny Smith sorbet. So exciting to the taste buds! Imperial Stout was impressive. Can't wait to come back to try more beers and food.
Baller! No complaints whatsoever... some of the best food and brews in Seattle... coming from a chef that’s been there and done that... I would work here for free... go here and order the menu!
Good overall, just very cold inside. Door kept opening and the heat wasn’t on high enough.
We enjoy good beer like other enjoy wine. This is a quality beer bar with a curated rotating tap list and some nice finds on the bottle list. Their food offerings are unique with lots of items prepared in-house, smoked fish and cultured creme for example. Their crispy fried mushrooms are to die for. It was great place in slightly obscure location, not near a ton of other options but certainly on the way to your down down experience.
The food was very tasty. The beer selection was interesting and varied. Good music though it does echo. Main gripe: I was paying the tab and the staff kept returning the bill to my guest instead of to me.
Split and enjoyed the shrimp and lobster rolls, great beer selections, and our server was helpful and attentive but not hovering or distracting, which was great.
Very fun time, very good little dishes, very good beer selection. Would definitely go back
Great beer selection but none of the appetizers/dinner plates wowed. The fried mushrooms were over battered to the point you couldn’t taste the mushroom and the tuna on the local fish plate tasted like it was out of the can. Would go back for the beer though.
No Anchor is the place where great creative ideas are fashioned into great, creative food and drinks. Not only is the food deserving of a Michelin Star but is plated with the utmost care. Cocktails are cleverly designed and served in novel glassware. I have been to many restaurants with higher ratings and reputation (French Laundry and Le Bec Fin, for example) and No Anchor not only holds up to the fantastic food and drinks but has SOUL that these other restaurants lack.
I hesitantly leave this review because I am afraid that many others will want to sample the fantastic fare of No Anchor and then I won’t be able to get in!
No Anchor is truly a Seattle gem. I wish them a very long life and great success.
Interesting and tasty beer selection. Overpriced food.
The staff is amazing and food is terrific and thoughtful.
Amazing choice of drinks, knowledgeable staff, incredibly creative and well executed food. I made my next reservation to take a bunch of friends back there.
The team at No Anchor was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had bar seats and were able to quiz the bartenders about their extensive beer list. We sampled most of the menu as well and were blown away at the quality, uniqueness and value.
Reserved a table, the seats ended being at one long table with communal seating; not a fan of that. Small portions. The crab roll was not very good. Wagyu beef was great but too small.
Unfortunately, the standard Open Table restaurant review form doesn't include an option to rave about the beer, mostly on tap ales from out of town, which are indeed worth raving about. This congenial beer and fine food venue does exactly what it sets out to do, be a pub that transcends pub grub and serves maybe the most interesting beers in town.
Great beer, owners are adorable and really care about beer and food.
Not sure of any words spoken that nite, but the beer was good and the dumplings were awesome.
We had a great time at No Anchor. The food was really well done and our server paired each item we ordered with beer tastings that went as well with the food as any wine pairing I've ever had. The last dish we had was a cheese board with some delicious local non-pasteurized cheese paired with a sour cherry beer and the flavour combo blew our minds! Great job No Anchor!
Dinner was excellent and the service was great. Small but interesting menu.
Really loved this place. Creative menu, well executed and a great space (and friendly staff!).
We were absolutely blown away by the food and the service. I cannot give this place a enough stars. I will definitely be back!
Food was FABULOUS... just like the last time! Love introducing friends to this place and to the innovative dishes. Will I go back within the next month? Absolutely!
