Spectacular food and service.
Fantastic meal and cocktails. No. 9 Park has wonderful food, and our waiter took it to the next level. One of us has an allium allergy (onions & garlic!), and during a conversation with the waiter, I asked, “Will there be any problems accommodating the allergy?” His immediate response was, “There may be some obstacles that we have to overcome so there are none for you. “ What a wonderful response and the kitchen delivered perfectly!
Truly a memorable experience. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. A culinary experience. The food is superb and delicious.
Wine pairings were not good
Went here for a birthday and anniversary meal and both had the tasting menu. Food was delicious, great service, lovely views. All in all a great experience
Wonderful service and impeccable food
Really nice anniversary dinner at No. 9 park. We had a great table overlooking the common. Service was outstanding - attentive but not overbearing and very responsive to requests. Food was excellent as well. We had the gnocci and salad as an appetizer. Wife had Artic Char and I had grilled octopus, which was perfectly cooked. I'm used to octopus as a sushi appetizer - sort of chewy. The grilled octopus was slighly chewy, grilled on the outside, but tender like scallops on the inside. A delicious meal and memorable evening. Highly recommend.
It was the most expensive food per ounce we have ever had. 45 dollars for two ounces of steak. Though it tasted absolutely fantastic, I left the restaurant still starving and needed to stop for a pizza. The restaurant itself was incredibly nice, and the view of the common was fantastic, but no one ever wants to leave dinner feeling hungry, and my entree was considered a “large plate.” Unfortunately I will not be going back. There are plenty of other high end restaurants in Boston that are fantastic and don’t leave you hungry.
It was good but not great. Servings too small and extremely expensive for what you get. Ambiance was lovely. For $45 steak, you get 2 tiny slivers of steak, which was delicious...
Absolutely amazing tasting menu with excellent choices for the wine pairings. The food, the presentation, the service were all impeccable. Atmosphere is a bit routine, but the culinary experience makes all of that fade away.
Asked for birthday candle etc- not remembered!
Wine ordered/ late news that it’s Not available!
Drinks late to arrive
Invariably exquisite, 9 Park happened to be conveniently located for this particular impromptu visit, and met all of our hopes and expectations yet again.
The food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the service all excelled.
Had an absolutely incredible meal here. We did the full tasting menu and loved every bite. Waiters were very knowledgeable and fun. Really enjoyed our time and can't wait to come back in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We always have a great experience and superb meal at No. 9. the front desk staff, bar and waitstaff are all knowledgeable, attentive, respectful and efficient. It is a restaurant where you can hear yourself think - --- and what your table mates are saying! definitely recommend it - it is our place of choice in Boston among many of the city's finer restaurants that we have enjoyed.
No 9 Park was elegant, comfortable without being stuffy
Everything we tried was superb
The wait staff were helpful, welcoming, and enthusiastic
This was the best place we've been to in Boston since Hamersley's closed
First time visiting No. 9 Park. Restaurant absolutely lived up to it's high reputation
Service was professional, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and well presented.
Our only surprise was the price of the black truffle garnishment @ $45 per person !
Overall a wonderful dining experience
Super expensive with the Valentine's Day menu, but the experience made it worth every penny!
Delicious food. Service was friendly but rushed - we barely had time to finish our courses before the next ones were brought out. Put a damper on an otherwise perfect meal.
Clearly a successful restaurant, but the food/experience does not match the price anymore. When paying more than $650 for a dinner for 2, you would expect an exceptional , one of a kind expierience (Michelin star stuff) and not a nice diner that is over within 2½ hours.
I really loved this place! Went there for my husband's birthday and the service was awesome. Friendly and quick but not intrusive. Food was delicious although fewer options than some might like for people who don't eat meat. The drinks were great as well. I would highly recommend this but would say it is more special occasion dining.
I was excited about trying No 9 Park. We had the Chef's Tasting Menu with wine pairing. The food was very good and some things were better than others. I had high expectations and would say for the most part, the food did not live up to my expectations. Service was excellent and Caleb did a fine job (however it was very difficult to hear him as he described the wine selections with each course and descriptions of the food served. He was very soft spoken). I would probably give this place another try -
My husband took me there for my birthday. We had such a wonderful time we purchased a gift certificate for our daughter's birthday.
Great food and great service!
No9 Park is a little like your favorite black dress... the first thing you reach for, it’s easy to wear, works for any occasion and keeps things sexy to boot!
Once you try this Boston landmark you’ll always come back because it never disappoints!
Awesome night at number 9 park. Food, service everything was perfect.
Outstanding service and cuisine. Well dressed patrons was a nice sight for a Boston restaurant
Always enjoy this restaurant when in Boston. Food was excellent though portions were small. Noise level in bar very high for conversation but once in dining area it was fine as was the table location. Our waiter was very friendly and delivered excellent service. Would recommend highly.
All around the experience was exceptional. We were celebrating our anniversary and I l had requested a good table, which we got. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed back and the hostess acknowledged we were celebrating an anniversary and so did the waiter. The food, as expected, was implacable. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, cocktails and especially wine. My only suggestion to him is to speak a little bit lower. I could hear the conversations he was engaging in with nearby patrons. I appreciate his enthusiasm but, for my taste, a little privacy would’ve been superb.
Wonderful food, drinks and service. Go ready to experiment with new and unique dishes.
Service was excellent, starting with the host. Waiter was exceptional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
Second time there. Food was great and the service was attentive without be intrusive.
We had a lovely evening. Wine service was slow. We were seated at a very nice round table for 6 however, it was near the kitchen and bathroom hallways. Very hectic
area of the Restaurant. Would specify not to sit there again -especially for a table of 6. Food was very good. First course was served and we waited for wine. White was not chilled enough as well. Red selection was fine. It was very difficult for the waiter to serve in that area of the restaurant. In and out of Kitchen to my left.
The view of the lights on the Boston Common is a seasonal treat, but cannot compare to the tasty beautifully creative cuisine. The gluten-avoiders appreciated the hot, fresh-baked gluten-free yummy rolls!
This a very pretentious restaurant that survives on its location and prior reputation.
If you enjoy spending $45 for a 3 oz (i'm being generous on the size) fair, sirloin steak
and $ 19 for 6 oz of turnip soup, this may be the place for you.
It seems this is the place for the early middle age group to be seen, rather than going
for a nice meal with service that matches the prices.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary, enjoyed every moment! Table with a view of the Common, delicious food, good wine list, service very attentive but not intrusive... We'll be back!
This was probably our sixth time to No 9 Park. The food was outstanding as usual. However, the service really fell flat this time. In the past, we've received excellent service.
The service I expected started off really good with the confirmation call that didn't just cover confirming the reservation, but also any dietary restrictions or special requests we had (we were celebrating my wife's birthday, and she is a vegetarian.)
Arriving early, the hostess found a place for us at the bar, and then helped up moved to our table when it was available.
Our main waiter was the problem. At a meal like this, long periods should not go by where we have empty wine/drink glasses. This happened a number of times - which is really a loss for the restaurant (as we would have likely ordered an additional drink or two if they were more attentive.) We noticed adjacent tables (and also, remembering from our other experiences at No. 9 Park) getting free drinks or cookies with their checks - we got nothing extra. This last part just left kind of a sour taste, after a nice evening.
The supporting wait staff was very friendly and did a great job of explaining all the dishes they brought to our table (we did the six-course prix fixe.)
In the future, we will certainly got to No. 9 Park again. We just may not rush back.
Wait staff was very attentive and explained the wine pairing well
Food and service were impeccable. Enjoyed every dish and the accompanying drinks.
Out table location was perfect. Miles our waiter was attentive and laid back and informative. It was as I requested a romantic encounter supported by the ambiance of the restaurant and its location we will revisit on a time in the future
