Excellent meal, efficient service.
So happy to have tried this restaurant Great greeting. courteous staff
excellent waiter Fish was fresh and delicious Pasta dish excellent
Definitely will return!
I’ve seen Nizza advertised in Playbill for many years and decided to try it for a pre theater dinner.
We originally sat inside but since it was nice weather we dined al fresco. The Manager was very accommodating with the switch from inside to outside.
We ordered the Socco which was delicious: tasted like a thin slice of focaccia bread topped with Parmesan and basil. My friend ordered the shrimp scampi appetizer and was impressed with the amount of shrimps served.
I ordered the arugula with fennel salad which was delicious and light. For my main the linguini with clams; also a nice portion of clams served.
We finished with some cappuccinos and hazelnut gelato.
The service was prompt and attentive.
The bill was extremely reasonable.
Will definitely dine here in the future.
The food was delicious especially the brick oven pizza with portobello mushroom and caramelized onions! A must!!
The service was attentive and friendly :)
Excellent meal at an understated venue. Also an excellent value given the $20 wines available on Wednesdays.
The food is consistently very good. Wednesday is $20 bottle of wine day. A varied selection of wine is offered. This is a wonderful value for NYC. The noise level is energetic.
Quick and friendly service. Perfect place to go right before a show. Brunch is great here too. I love the Socca!
Great ambiance, decent food for a quick lunch and drinks
Was there a bit late and reservation was kept
The Food, the Service, and the Atmosphere were all magnificent. The weather worked in our favor, so we were able to sit at an outdoor table and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent and our waitress was wonderful during our meal. Would definitely eat there again, and will make sure to tell our friends as well.
Excellent food! Great for a pre-show meal! We'll be back!
Nizza never disappoints. The food is always delicious and the servers are a delight to work with
My waitress Sarah -- in addition to waiting tables, she's waiting for her Big Break on Broadway -- was great and a lot of fun. We eat there a lot and this was a typically positive experience.
Nizza is a rare find in the theatre district - well seasoned food in a lively atmosphere with wonderful service and most of all, sensible fair pricing. The food is always well prepared, fresh and tasty - warm foccacia, great cocktails and well priced wine list with daily specials, the linguine a vongole has fresh clams in a garlic infused sauce - all the food was delicious.
Always a great experience - food value and service all terrific
great service for pre theater dining. Very reasonable for NYC. Great pastas.
Great meal at Nizza would definitely recommend.
Excellent gluten free food and desserts. Gracious and kind service. We visited twice during our vacation. Wish we had more time to go again. We will return!
Loved it! Ambiance, food and price point were great!
This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is wonderful, but the people are even better. I always feel welcomed and well taken care of.
The service at Nizza is always superb. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s my favourite spot for pre theatre lunch.
A great dining experience as per usual! Their gluten free menu is fantastic and full of options!
I choose this place because of the reviews, I don’t know if it was bad luck, but we asked for 3 pizzas ( 2 of them GF) and they have been the worst pizzas in a while. The pizza sauce was without flavor, the dough was not fully cooked, I don’t know how the gluten free pizza is highly recommended since it is not good at all
Brunch disappointed. We had dinner a few weeks earlier and it was exceptional
I love it here, the food is great, and service is good although the seating is a little uncomfortable we were first sat at a tight booth which I couldn’t sit in because of a back injury then we were kindly moved to a table that had a chair but was not designed well such that if you had long legs the table base cuts into them, my brother was very uncomfortable and said he would never go back, also it’s a little loud because it’s always packed full. With all that said, it’s my favorite pre theatre restaurant
Noise approached the unbearable level. Certainly too high for us to ever return. Food was OK, but menu was not very interesting to us. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive.
My daughter follows Nizza-NYC on instagram and has been wanting to go for the longest time. So we finally went and we loved it! The food was awesome, our server was so attentive and the restaurant has a great feel to it. Would definitely recommend it and we will be coming back!
Nizza is my go-to restaurant when I go to the theater. The food is excellent and reasonable. Service is very friendly. Love the socca.
We were in town for vacation and found Nizza. Our first experience was so great that we went back the next day too! Wonderful atmosphere. Staff recognized us when we returned and acknowledged us. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we visit NYC
Great service! Delicious Food!
As always, Nizza did not disappoint. We were there this past Wednesday, before our matinee . Service is excellent, and food delicious. It has become our go-to place to eat, and my daughter who needs gluten-free food, enjoys that menu, also. The price is right, too!
Great for gluten Free
Nizza is an all time favorite of ours. Food and service are always excellent. It is on 9th and 44 but it is not a Times Square tourist trap. Great place for locals to escape the chaos around them and for tourist to enjoy an authentic NYC restaurant with great food and ambience for reasonable price.
Fantastic! They went above and beyond for my child with multiple food allergies. Highly recommend it here!
It was AMAZING! Food was excellent and had a great and knowledgeable server who was versed in the gluten free cuisine. Their gluten free menu is spectacular, literally tastes like the regular stuff! We had pizza and the pasta de Pepe and it was delicious!
I’ve been having dinner there with 2 colleagues few times before. We went there again this time is because in the past the food is good and price is moderated.
This time I ate a steak and it’s sad that I was disappointed..... it didn’t have the taste of beef, also seems no seasoning : (
A little loud for conversation until the Theatre crowd left, but one of my favorite midtown restaurants by far. The roasted chicken under a brick is my go to dish!
My best find in the theater district in a long time. My new “go to”.
waitress was overly aggressive and pushy to turn over table and get her "big" tip.
I was there to meet relatives I haven't seen in years and I recommended the restaurant because
of the large gluten free menu. food was terrific. teach your wait staff to cool their jets!
3rd time having dinner and was consistent for food & service quality.
