Nizza - NYC
This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Their food and service are terrific. Go!
This was my third time to Nizza and it never disappoints. The food and service are wonderful and the lively, but not loud, room and outdoor seating area are a delight. A great plaice to spend an evening!
Limited selection at lunch.
Great food. Went here for the gluten-free options after doing some research online. Didn’t disappoint. Food was flavorful and they had a nice wine list to top things off. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking good gluten-free Italian in NYC.
Most likely wont go again. Food is only a little better than diner food. Good prices and on Wednesday $20 wine which was good.. So noisy it was impossible to have a conversation. My ears and throat hurt after from having to shout. We went once before and it wasn’t as bad. Made a reservation but there were no good tables left for us. Waiter was nice and attentive. Hosts snooty and dismissive.
Too bad because we live in the neighborhood and would have been good customers, but the experience was too stressful and noisy and food just okay.
I always come and always enjoy it.
It was less crowded than expected and the Gluten Free menu is a real plus. I found the Chickpea 'pizza' to be tasty but a little oily. Great wine options. Super service. I'll go back!
It was a fantastic restaurants and catered for out Gluten Free needs.
i go here for the sacco - usually great ~ this time just so-so.
server on the other hand was excellent!
The waiters were somehow too busy serving a restaurant with only about 4 tables during lunch hours. We added a salad and it never came, and it was really hard to get their attention too.
Convenient to theater district. Nice variety of dishes to choose from. Food and service were very good.
Will gladly return if in the area again.
Celiac disease makes eating out so difficult and scary. Nizza‘s is the best, the gluten free bread is amazing, and I always feel great after eating here. My favorite!
Delicious food. Outstanding service!
Nizza is one of our go-to restaurants. The food was up to the usual good standards, however on this occasion, a warm humid evening, the air conditioning inside was not able to keep up with the outdoor heat.
We had a group of six women and everyone had a wonderful time, the staff (Katie!) was so attentive and helpful, the food was delicious and the value was great! We all will highly recommend it since it's right in the theatre district and they gave us a wonderful start to our annual night out at the theatre! Thanks!
Love this place! Always come before seeing a show since it's so close to theaters and great with allergies!
Our server was exquisite! Love this place, will keep coming back!
Pizza was good. Overall a good place for after a show. Well located.
The food was delicious, the server was lovely and attentive. We were seated outside, and unfortunately, the foursome at the table in back of ours was extremely loud and the voices were intrusive. Otherwise, it was a lovely evening with our friends enjoying each other and the fine food.
Service was disappointing.. food was good but restaurant was very hot!! Felt like no AC on but it was on according to wAiter.
Love this restaurant
Service was pretty good. Pizza was ok.
Food was very good but service not commendable - inattentive and awkward.
Our waitress took our order, then must have left. We never saw her again. No one until the end of the meal asked if we needed anything or if we were ok.
My family of four ate at Nizza before seeing a show on a weeknight. One of my daughters and I are allergic to wheat, dairy and eggs. They offered a full gluten-free menu and the server was extremely knowledgeable about food allergies and went out of her way to ensure that the chef was aware. The food was delicious! Our server was very attentive and kind. The only downside - The seating is a bit tight. It was tough to get into our seats without bumping the occupied seats behind us. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely dine there again.
I dare you to find a friendlier, prettier restaurant with better food in NYC. I always feel as if I am coming home. The food is amazing. Every time I can force myself to try something new, instead of sticking to my tried and true favorites, I am always happily surprised--and end up adding something to my tried and true favorites list. The staff is absolutely lovely. You really feel taken care of while you are eating the amazing food. The restaurant itself is bright and cheerful and hip. If I were going to start a restaurant, it would definitely be a clone of Nizza!
Really good service and food, and extended gluten free menu!
Always a great meal. The pizza is divine!
Incredible service, bottomless mimosas, outdoor patio seating and a fantastic gluten free menu - couldn’t have been more perfect for a Sunday brunch!
Food, service, wine excellent!!! I love this place!
Service was great, but noise level was horribly loud.
Nizza is terrific! The food was amazing, as usual. Pasta with seafood, and an abundance of it, was so flavorful. Caesar salad was delicious. Wish they served plain Italian bread instead of focaccia! Very noisy though if you are trying to have a conversation...then ask to sit outdoors! Wednesday = $20 bottles of select wines! Great deal!
I have been here like 5 times. Very disappointed with my last visit. Food and service. Pasta was way over cooked twice breaded chicken was over cooked as well, very tough. Plates were left on table too long had to ask several times for things. My husband and brother had the Sunday dinner, they loved it. Dessert was very good. Of course I will go back because 1 out of 5 visits is a good %.
Food was unique and delicious-it always is. The place has buzz atmosphere; you know you want to be there. Our server (i believe her name was Margaret) could not have been better or more attentive. I love this place. Go!
Have been there many times when we're in Hell's kitchen. this time we were slightly disappointed the only special for the evening was an appetizer. The pansotti ravioli was not as creamy on the inside as it has been in the past, and this sauce had a bit too much cheese. The service was amazing the waitress was friendly efficient and fast. The house wine was perfect and enough to get you through your main course.
The service was good but the food was disappointing. I probably ordered the wrong dish. It was an over cooked dry chicken Milanese dish. The appetizer was very good and my husband enjoyed his pasta dish.
Great place! Gluten free options. Food was absolutely delicious.
Pre theater dinner. Very accommodating and nice. But food was just ok, not bad.
Food is always good and consistent. Normally service is great! Last visit we had bad and slow service. Waiter was super slow and watched our table and adjacent tables have to ask multiple times for water, drinks and why food was taking too long. It was also super warm and waiter said we can’t expect it to be cool when it is sooo hot outside. It was 82!
Normally great but this time not so good!
