Nizza - NYC
With traditional New York sidewalk seating, terrific service from Spencer, and very good food, including a $20 bottle of wine (a Wednesday evening special), Nizza was a delight. A terrific spot for a pre-show dinner or a casual catch-up with friends, I will be back and will recommend the restaurant to friends.
Really enjoyed our meals. The service provided by Luis was excellent. He made great suggestions. We went on a $20 bottle wine night and enjoyed cans of Rose, which were very good. Fun atmosphere, the bussing staff were great with water and pick up of plates. Would definitely go again and will recommend it.
Our waiter was terrific with our daughter’s food allergies and the food was delicious.
The socca (chickpea pizza) is outstanding! They have an extensive gluten free menu as well. We always eat here when we come to Broadway
Average food. A little on the expensive side for the quality (especially the appetizers). Service was fast which was good.
Socca GF “pizza” was soggy. Chicken beet goat cheese salad was tasteless and the beets were diced and sparse.
Ricotta cheesecake was delicious.
Th e worst ever
Food and service are great and they take special care of folks who are gluten free...
This is not my first time at Nizza and it never disappoints. Had a soca pancake made from chick peas. The bronzino was delicious accompanied by asparagus. If you need gluten free this is a wonderful place to go
The pizza was great and the pasta dishes were fresh, well seasoned and very generous portions but the best part was our server who made it clear that she was only interested in making SURE we had a fabulous meal and time together... she was GREAT. Nice family atmosphere, quiet enough to actually talk and the perfect meal before or after a show!
This may have been an off day for the kitchen. Both our meals were pretty meh. Not my usual experience here. The service and staff were friendly and great, as always.
We love this restaurant. Great food and great gluten free options
Great service, food, and atmosphere. Accommodated my sister and I early at a great seat outside. Gluten free needs are easily met with great tasting options. overall fantastic!
We had dinner after a show celebrating my daughters birthday. Nizza has Avery nice atmosphere. The wait staff were very attentive. Everyone was happy with their food choices.
Excellent food! Our waiter Anthony was friendly and knowledgeable!! Great experience!!
We made reservations before a comedy show. The food was good- reasonable pricing. Service was ok. We made a reservation note in Open Table that we were celebrating a birthday and forgot to mention it when we arrived. The server never brought it up. No happy hour at this restaurant.
Always delicious and gluten free! One of our favorite spots!
The food was absolutely delicious very flavorful , great for vegetarians,, the service excellent. Great place to go before the theater.
The service here is consistently warm, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommended.
Always fantastic! We love to sit at the bar and love, love, love everything about this place! The food, the staff, the ambiance.
Lovely evening with large portions and great wine!
The service was great and flawless from water to wine refills by the waiter. All the food tastes homemade with detailed flavors in each bite. I would definitely go back here! I also liked the intimacy of the place because it is a smaller sized restaurant.
A great find close to theaters. You can’t beat their Wine Wednesday $20 bottles either. Branzino was cooked perfectly. We make it a point to visit before the theater. I
Nice restaurant in the theatre district...good atmosphere, excellent food...a great choice in that neighborhood
We ate here during the break between Harry Potter Parts 1 & 2. Perfect Caesar salad enough to split for 2. My husband had the lasagna with chunks of lamb in the ragu. I had the special chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and could only eat half. Fortunately my husband helped me. Delicious cappuccino with a pretty tulip design. Lovely waitress. I always come here when I’m in NYC and I’m never disappointed.
Was looking for a place pre-theater.
Nizza fit the bill perfectly! Food and service were excellent! I look forward to a return visit.
We were visiting from Toronto and were recommended this restaurant by a friend who lives in New York. We were so glad we went. Busy bustling restaurant, food was delicious, and service was great. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.
I loved this place! I went with some friends for bottomless brunch, and the food and the mimosas were all great! Our waitress was really friendly and always happy to bring us more drinks. They were also really accommodating and aware of my allergies, asking if anyone had allergies almost as soon as we sat down, which I always really appreciate. Would definitely go back again for more pizza!
Dining with friends before a Broadway show.
Great service and some decent Italian but not an exceptional food experience. Great for a decent pre theatre dinner and wait staff awesome. Food arrived quickly. No pressure to turn around table. Location great for theatres
Always a fantasy meal. The service is impeccable and the Manager David was so pleasant
Great food...Pleasant Staff...Nice setting...The only issue was the noise level (it’s a busy area) ...but overall I’d definitely go back and recommend to my friends.
Good but food quality not as good as Easter. Ordered same things. Not as fresh or delish
Great except for ....I kid you not....the woman at the next table standing on her chair to take photos. Her boyfriend looked pretty bummed that his pizza got cold and his frozen aperol spritz melted during the photo shoot.
There were specials on the menu that the waiter didn't want to honor the prices. The service was not good and the quality of food was not to the standard we are used to at Nizza.
Unfortunately, the rudeness of the staff, we will not go back.
Service in the restaurant was great. Only got 3 stars because I put in my reservation that it was my husband’s birthday. Nothing. Nobody cared. Not sure if they even acknowledge birthdays. But if you don’t, don’t make it an option in the reservation.
Attentive and rapid service. This is the theater district and they know how to get you out in time to make your curtain time. We have been here many times with friends and always have a good meal. One of the better crowd pleasing choices in the area.
Artichoke appetizer was very tasty. Branzino was well prepared. My husband liked his chicken but felt it should have had a sauce to balance it better.
Good food, great service, a bit noisy but overall great value for a NYC restaurant.
Appreciate it is always dependable, with options for all types of eaters.
We stopped at Nizza for an Sunday matinee pre-theater lunch. Nicely they were serving much of their regular menu as opposed to the usual brunch fare (we just weren't in the mood that day for brunch type food). The service was a bit on the slow side but as we were not in a rush it wasn't much of a bother. We had the Sunday Pasta and the Chicken Milanese and were both pleased with our choices. Overall a very pleasant experience.
