food was very fresh and excellent as was the service.
always WONDERFUL, happy to have the best service from Margaret, she is on of the most amazing waitress of this restaurant, thanks to Patrick for his good service and the chef Raul his food is always the best !!!!! Thanks to everyone I hope to come back soon !!!!!
Great find on Friday night. Thankful
For the recommendation from a friend. Will definitely be back!
Great service from Sarah. Tasty pizzas. Delicious pansoti pasta. Good energy in the place.
What a gem. Our dinner at Nizza's was our favorite meal while visiting NYC. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We dined at other well known and expensive places and none of them compared with Nizza's. Our new favorite in NY!
favorite pre-theater go-to! Excellent food - try the
branzino and carbonara - and attentive servers. wish it weren’t so busy but such is the price of fame.
The best Gluten Free options in NYC. Their focaccia is to die for.
We love Nizza! We’ve eaten here a few times over the years before or after the theater. It’s very good food and conveniently located close to Times Square. In our family of five, three of us have Celiac Disease. We can hear delicious Italian food that is prepare safely for us.
Great place to meet friends
Quaint restaurant. Good tasting italian food. Convenient for theatre goers
I wanted a semi quiet place for conversation & good food. The wait staff was able to offer my friend a gluten free menu. It was just the right amount of friendly staff & excellent service!
Excellent service, and we're super accommodating of my girlfriends numerous of food allergies. Staff was polite and friendly, food was excellent, would recommend the Burrata.
I love Nizza. It's my all time favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food, the vibe, the service are all perfection. It really has a welcoming feel that I just don't get at other places. It feels like home--if home were classy and fun and had a terrific cook working in the kitchen.
Great food wine Wednesday’s bottle for $20. Ambiance was nice too
Always reliable though not perfect. Braised artichokes were too tough to eat much of it but fried Brussels sprouts and beet salad were very good.
Extremely friendly with good service. Food is much better than reasonable prices might suggest. A good spot for pre-theater afternoon or evening.
Wonderful. Good food and service. Will be back!!
Perfect if you have a gluten-intolerant person in your party. Great bread, both regular and gluten-free. Set up for quick turn-around for those attending the theater.
A great local place with a nice menu selection. Never rushed by the staff.
Nizza has been one of my very favorite restaurants for years. Whether it's a date with my husband, meeting up with a group of friends, or tour-guiding with visitors from out of town - it is the perfect blend of delicious food and cocktails, and a fantastic, comfortable, and cosmopolitan ambiance. Nizza never fails to impress.
Overall a good experience. Service was a bit rushed because we arrived while the pre-theatre dinner crowd was there.
The dishes were generally quite good: we had the artichokes, which was a bit undercooked, as an appetizer along with a side of Brussels sprouts, which were a bit overcooked. We shared two different pasta dishes -- the baked gnocchi were like little clouds, and the pansoti was delicious.
Food prices were very reasonable and the wine list had options at a range of price points.
So delicious and an amazing assortment of gluten free options! Definitely on point!
Food was very good, and we very much appreciate the gluten free options. But, service was uneven at best.
We had a perfect brunch at Nizza. The food, drinks, service, ambience, and overall value was fantastic!!!
I live a block away so I have been here 3 times already, but this is my first review. This is a neighborhood gem.. reasonable prices, very good italian food. Last time I tried the gnocchi and they did not disappoint. In the past I have tried the pizzas and they are very good (perfect size to order for 1 person). As per drinks, reasonably priced wines, and great apperol spritz.
I would say the thing I love the most about this place is the attention (always great service), and its bread. With olive oil and ricotta is truly unbelievable!
One of the best dining experiences I have had in years. It was a Valentine's pre-theater dinner. I was stuck in terrible traffic and my date was there on time., so I asked him to order for me. Not only did the lovely waitress (wish I knew her name) seat him without me, (which is rare) she made evertything incredibly comfortable for him and then for me when I arrived. She greeted me with a smile, made me feel special, and had everything laid out to beyond my liking: gluten free breads, watermelon-ginger non-alcoholic specialty drink for me and my bf's favorite Rose' branzino (cooked to perfection). We finished with a tasty marscapone cheesecake. As we left, the manager sent us off with a big smile. Still have a big smile on my face and am grateful for a memory I will not forget.
Great choices and delicious specials. Fair prices too. Should have ordered the pizza....
It’s good Italian food at a good price point for the location. The tables are well organized and you don’t feel claustrophobic. Service was friendly and efficient. We were there for lunch on a Sunday before a matinee and it was a comfortable place to keep grazing until it was time for the theater.
Great pre-theater dinner spot. Great service - didn't feel rushed through the meal.
One of my favorite New York eateries! I eat here every time I come to the city
Food was amazing!!! For someone who is gluten free this restaurant was so catering with its own gluten free menu- I had the spaghetti and sausage and their complimentary foccacia bread and it was so good! The other guests were not gluten free and loved their meals as well! The bus boys were so on top of clearing our plates and bringing us water and silverware, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Pricing was decent as well!
I went to Nizza with my mom for an early dinner before seeing Hamilton. We wanted good Italian food in the theatre district, and it came highly rated online. They weren't kidding! We split a pizza that was just delicious - not too filling, quality ingredients. We also each had really good cocktails - the lemoncello sangria is awesome. If you're going to see a show, this is close to all the theatres and a way better option than all the chains you'll find in Times Square.
Yummy pre-theater lunch! Delicious eggplant rolatini and tomato soup. Great gluten free options.
Service was outstanding. Portions don't look big but were just right in the end.
Focaccia bread with warm ricotta and olive oil brought to table was delicious. We ordered eggplant rollatine and caprese salad for apps-both were fantastic! Rigatoni entree was unique and tasty. Warm apple crostata was amazing with vanilla ice cream. $103 plus tip was reasonable for 2 glasses of wine, 2 apps, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. We would go back again and recommend!
Food was good but meal was rushed. Our appetizer came out and then our meal before we even touched the app. When we told the waitress she did not offer to take food back or apologize for rush.
Another solid meal and great place to hang with friends.
It was quite good but the fish my husband ordered was so small and he left hungry. Not good for a bill that came too $100.
No loud music so you can hear your companions & the staff. The host recommended the perfect wine! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. It was a birthday & they brought an incredible birthday treat. It was just fab!
