Nizza - NYC
Great food & Great wine list. Bartenders are amazing.!
The food was delicious and I would absolutely go back. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because the service was very rushed. Quick service is nice at a restaurant but we felt almost like we were getting rushed out, 30 minutes after we sat down we were brought the check. Delicious food and friendly service overall though.
Always great to eat at Nizza before Theatre and to be reassured that my meal is Gluten Free so that I don’t have to leave in the middle of a performance because I got glutened. Service is always great and care about celiac.
Excellent pre-theater choice-with very tasty well prepared food
Great customer service, good food, good value.
Nizza was wonderful, as always! Our waiter was personable and very efficient, and of course, our food was outstanding! I have recommended Nizza to all my friends!
For those who love spicy, the piccante is a MUST! And for those who loveee cheese, the Quattro Formaggio was deliciousss. My boyfriend and I got both and shared them between us and it was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet pizzas - who would’ve thought! I went there twice in a week FYI :)
Everything was just right.
Classical Italian food, good appetizers (especially the cauliflower and artichoke) , as well as the pizza Parma and the gnocchi. The house wine is fine. Service was courteous fast, exact. The atmosphere is nice, we got a table next ti the window which really contributes to a better atmosphere during dinner.
The menu has variety food is well prepared and presented, service is efficient
I have Celiac Disease and was able to eat safely at Nizza, which was wonderful! Their gluten-free menu was plentiful, with so many great choices. Our waitress was very familiar with Celiac and was able to share about the steps taken to prevent cross-contamination. Gluten-free bread was available and was soft and fresh. I had a pasta dish and it was delicious! My husband ordered from the regular menu and thoroughly enjoyed his pasta. I highly recommend Nizza!
A very nice Italian restaurant within a ten minute walk of the theaters. It was not typical Times Square chains but rather a neighborhood place with great food at very moderate prices. We will certainly be back. Had the Branzino, the eggplant Rolitini as an entree and Calamari app. It is A bit tight space wise, but that’s just part of a city neighborhood style place.
Great choice. Food was wonderful. One of the children has food allergies and they were amazing. She never gets to have dessert but she did here.
Amazing service. Food was spectacular. Great Gf options. Will def return!
I hadn’t been to this place in several years, and it seemed more rundown than I remembered. I appreciated the inexpensive lunch specials, but the food itself was disappointing.
Great pre-theatre dinner. Servers were friendly and restaurant was small and intimate but did not feel crowded. Got the ravioli special and it was delicious!
Great Italian and so nice to find a place so near all the craziness that we could have a nice dinner and talk.
I already celebrated my birthday at Nizza Restaurant and I got an amazing time there.
100% recommend. All was fantastic ;)
The restaurant was missing a lot of times on the menu and the food was okay at best. The service was fine but nothing out of the ordinary. Our particular server seemed very annoyed that we had two kids that just wanted plain pasta without sauce. I would not go back
Outstanding gluten-free food, felt like a regular person and was even brought gluten-free bread. Excellent
Delicious food, great service. Slightly pricey for the portion size
My NYC birthday trip included a wonderful dinner. Service was excellent, food fresh and delicious, dessert amazing- Gluten free and enjoyed it all.
The not gluten free family also ordered chicken parm and said it was delicious as well.
Nice family dinner
I really enjoyed the food here but it was so tight and cramped. It was uncomfortable to enjoy your dinner because youre stuffed in between the table behind you and next to you.
It was our first time at this restaurant!, and it won't be our last for sure! The whole experience was nothing short of awesome! The food was excellent from start to finish! The restaurant was decorated very nicely for the holidays! The staff was very nice! & accommodating! Our waiter was fantastic!, and the chef's appetizers! & main entrees were superb! The place was packed! (I can see why!). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a great Italian meal! & experience!
The waitress helper keeps interrupting and picking up plate so fast its annoying
Such a great little place. Our server was so sweet and very professional. Very good at what she does. Food was wonderful. Next time I am in the city will stop again!
The one place we always return when we come back to the city!
Great, casual pre-theatre choice. Great gluten-free menu/options. Been the many times, never disappoints!
We ate at Nizza after Frozen and before Harry Connick, jr. Perfect “in between shows” meal. We had a great meal with wonderful service. The food was perfectly prepared and so savory. I dreamed about it after returning to Dallas and will definitely seek it out next time I’m in NYC.
Wonderful food. Highly recommend it.
Good food and attentive service- everything was delicious- socca, artichokes, capreses salad. I didn’t care for my entree- too heavy and unlike a similarly described dish I’d enjoyed on a trip to Italy but my husband enjoyed his and the waitress adjusted our bill for my meal which was very much appreciated. I would dine there again.
The service and food were excellent as always. This restaurant was a lucky find for us. I highly recommend Nizza for lunch and dinner.
Food and service was excellent. Our group ordered a couple of pizzas for appetizers and they cut them small for us. We ordered a nice variety of meals and everyone thought the food was delicious.
Great Gluten Free options!!!!
From the moment we were greeted by the handsome and charming David , we knew we would be fortunate to dine here.
Thank goodness we had made a booking on OpenTable- they were packed. And no wonder: the food is excellent.
Do not miss the socca! Very delicious. Friends ,who dine here weekly , love the pansoti, but our superb waiter , Miguel, recommended some others. You may trust him. Every taste had a special flavor. Often pastas are mono and later , boring with regard to the diversity on the tongue.
With David and Miguel and the positive vibe and chef driven kitchen, no after theatre evening could be more memorable! Sincerely!
The focaccia with olive oil and ricotta is to die for.
We were running late and needed to be in and out in less than 40 minutes. The waiter made sure we were out in time to make our show! Food was very good. My salmon was cooked perfectly. We all loved the burrata and pesto bruschetta. The kids were very happy with their pizza.
