Not because we serve beavertail poutine with maple syrup gravy (we don't serve this), but because our menu is a cultural mosaic.

Went to Nique because I wanted to try a new place. Had brunch this past Sunday - service was good, coffee was okay(very expensive $5), even if it is bottomless. Ordered the regular eggs Benedict. Fries were tasty, pea meal bacon was very good, hollandaise sauce was incredibly buttery, tasted like movie theatre popcorn butter, one poached egg was cooked great, the second was hard. I still enjoyed the breakfast and I think I will try Nique again for dinner.

First visit for brunch and we enjoyed the menu options including vegan, and the prompt friendly service. Eggs benedict had an excellent hollandaise, the black bean burger was well seasoned and the chicken and waffles were rich and satisfying. Delicious and a great start to a sunny Sunday.

The food was tremendously over salted. We could not finish our dishes, even though we still had appetite. This has never happened to us before, at any other restaurant. Perhaps the cook was off his game the night we were there? We got home and drank gallons of water. Also, if you are out for a romantic/quiet night, as we were, the ambience may not suit you. They were playing popular music and classic rock at what was for us, trying to converse, a level that was just a little too loud.

Food was good. Not a lot of options of wine by the glass. Very good service and atmosphere. The music was awesome. They were playing classic 1990s hip hop. The mood was great.

We were wondering what you were looking for by the glass, as of this weekend we has 2 sparklings, 7 whites, 5 reds, a sake and a sherry all available by the glass and not sure what else you were looking for! Food was terrific. Went for brunch and they had a nice variety of items on the menu so everyone had options. The restaurant is lovely inside, rustic but elegant.
