Great food and service as always.
Loved the live music!!
Calamari marinara is good.
Our favorite Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side. Excellent Food and service. Excellent cocktails. Beautiful restaurant. Great staff. I have been going here for decades and have never been disappointed.
Highly recommend. Excellent service and food.
My husband and I visit Nino's regularly for our little "dates" for many years. The food is always excellent, tasty, and well prepared. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Fresh fruits and vegetables on display, white tablecloths , immaculate. Attentive and "there when you need it " service. You have feel of luxury in this neighborhood gem. Mr. Nino is present everytime, circling among the guests, making sure everyone is happy. Highly recommend.
Wonderful service. Beautiful restaurant. Would go back tomorrow if I didn't have work. Please try this wonderful Italian restaurant you won't be sorry.
Excellent! As always. Never disappoints glad to see Nino and the staff after the paused inside dining.
Nino's still got it! After all these years and the hardship with COVID, Nino's is still open and still putting out some of the best Italian dishes on the Upper East Side. Ive been to this neighborhood gem for years!!!! Since the late 90's!! And its still got its magical touch and amazing food accompanied by spectacular service. Definitely cannot wait to go back!!
Calamari tasted frozen rather than fresh. Veal was pretty awful. My boyfriend and I both had one bite and expressed our dislike to the waiter however they barely acknowledge it and didn’t comp or even offer us anything else. The only thing decently good about this place is their pasta. I enjoyed the spinach and ricotta ravioli. There wine is good too lol. Good sized pour but won’t be going back.
Unique , authentic and delicious
You allowed me to make a reservation when the restaurant was actually closed. This was for a friends birthday and it was very disappointing.
Food was excellent! Nino was gracious as always.
Everything was delicious! Will be back again soon!
Lovely food. Gracious service. Outdoor dining is a difficult ambiance in NY.
Wonderful Italian food, prepared and cooked to perfection. Reminds one on food served in Rome or Milan. The fish and pasta dishes are wonderful - most never would try the meatballs - but they are sensational!
We are "regulars" at Nino's and have always enjoyed each visit. The service is always very attentive and Nino is a gracious host. We also love the live music ("Great American Songbook") on weekends!
great Italian on the upper east side. great food and even better service
We came to celebrate my son’s 5th birthday & everything was great. Nino & his staff go above & beyond to make sure you have a great meal & a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is one of my girlfriend and I’d favorite places to eat at in the Upper East Side. Great food, great ambiance, and amazing customer service!
Great service and food
Nice piano music
Everything was great! Super friendly staff and amazing food. Definitely coming back.
Chose Nino's from a search of 'Italian', primarily based on it being on the way to the Apollo for a Little Big Town show w/ my 2 daughters. We we're not disappointed in our random selection. And we ate like champs. The three of us shared the carpaccio/arugula "wraps" and custom-requested clams casino. Fantastic without being too filling! Careful with the clams: you can suck them right off the shell easily but wait until they cool down! For our main courses, we played "pass the plate" with the penne vodka, spaghetti carbonara and the sea bass in lemon caper sauce, all busting with flavor. The pasta sauces may have been a little heavy, especially as we neared the bottom but nonetheless delicious. The cannolis finished our visit, again, full of flavor and not overwhelming that we couldn't clean the plate. The service was solid if unspectacular which suited us just fine. We neither neglected nor constantly interrupted. Being on the early side of the NYC Saturday dinner rush, the place was still filling up as we ate so the noise and general bustle were not a detriment, while the décor was scene recognizable as many family-run establishments.....where the focus is on making you feel welcome and feeding you well. There may be better (and more expensive) places to go, but this one more than hit the spot. Three thumbs up from this crew.
Manager extremely rude and condescending. Ruined the dining experience and will not return! 👎
Amazing. Just do it.
Lovely table side service of Caesar salad and Zabaglione were the highlights!
The ribeye special was excellent if pricey at $55. The ligingui with clam sauce was average at best. Our meal with one tea was $125. Great restaurant but hard to justify the cost
The place is adorable and the service could not have been better Both my friend and I ordered the Rigatoni with vodka sauce It was a little too salty and not very good
Very friendly staff and great presentation. We had a great time dining here and the food was excellent.
I truly enjoyed my dining experience at Nino's. I loved the fact that it was busy, but quiet. I never felt rushed, and I was able to enjoy my delicious meal and converse with my cousin. I would definitely recommend Nino's and I will be back!
Nino's is one of the best restaurants in NYC, HANDS DOWN!
I have gone to many NYC establishments, but I find myself at Nino's time and time again. The service is unmatched and on majority of nights, they have LIVE MUSIC! Frank Sinatra music on Thurs (my favorite), JAZZ nights on Weds (also fantastic!), and "Classics" on Friday and Saturdays! Dinner and a show!
The lobster prepared table-side and served fra diavolo style over linguini is my personal favorite. It is always a very large portion! Perfect amount of heat, but like any dish, they can prepare it how you like! The Caesar Salad is my favorite salad on the planet! If you are love fish, Nino's always has a fantastic, FRESH selection there as well! The Branzino and the mussels are my other seafood favorites but any of the steaks there, are also a fantastic choice!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! Truly one of NYC's best!
Today Lunch was just amazing!!!! I made a reservation at Nino’s was a late lunch I was with family and I enjoyed tremendously, to start appetizer was just fresh and delicious love the Pasta special fettuccine with porcini mushrooms so delicious , as main course I had. The Salmon perfectly cook ... to finished I had the banana flame table side Just total experience ... I can’t wait to go back for Dinner . Service friendly and attentive .
We were looking forward to a great Italian meal at Nino’s. The reviews seemed uniformly favorable. The menu was very appealing as well.
We had a 6:30 pm reservation on Saturday night for 4. We were seated promptly and received immediate attention to order drinks and our meal. So far so good. Ordered one appetizer and 4 entrees for our party of 4.
Almost an hour went by and we had to ask 3 different folks about where our appetizer was, let alone the meal. The restaurant was not even that busy at that time. Finally got the appetizer- meatballs in a marinara sauce. Very pedestrian.
The meals finally came in another 7-10 minutes. The linguine with fresh clams was fair. The pasta with baby shrimp was better than average and the shrimp were decent size too. The salmon dish was good but not superior on any way.
Bottom line, waited way too long for an average meal. Would not repeat any time soon.
4 sisters and 9 daughters loved their dinner at Nino’s!
They were very accommodating. We really wanted baked claims and it was not on the menu and they made them for us better then most places that sell them.
every need overseen by Nino...from bread to dessert, just a fabulous demonstration of how a restaurant should run....GREAT wine list.....not crowded....a go-to destination
It’s not the ninos that I knew. The people are nice there but it’s need a refresh. Just my opinion.
We had a great time! Pianist/singer great and our large group loved the experience. Food was “OK.” Pasta a bit over cooked, veal chops pretty tough, but service excellent and management great. Not sure I’d go back just for food, but would enjoy another visit with big group.
