   We had a lovely server, she was a bit inexperienced but that didn't bother us because we could tell she was working hard trying doing the right thing for all the tables she attended to. It was obvious to me that she wasn't properly trained. Our server came to our table with the wrong order. When I pointed out that the dish wasn't what I ordered, she insisted I was wrong. A few minutes later she came back and apologized for the mix up. No big deal, it happens. Another server showed up with our dinner, and again it was the wrong order. The owner came over and asked what was going on. We told him and he said our server was new and then offered to give us free dessert. I thought that was a nice gesture, but not necessary. He went on and on about how great the desserts were and how happy we'll be after we tried these amazing creations. He also told us how important we were to him. What really upset me was the owner never returned to our table again to see if we were satisfied. By the way, my pasta meal was overcooked and tasteless, I guess the cook was new too. We paid the bill and left the standard 20% tip. Before I left, I reached into my purse to retrieve a business card, I tracked down the owner, handed him my card and stormed out. He came running into the parking lot and told us we left too quickly. Really Anthony? We sat at our table for 20 minute after our dinner plates were cleared and my husband even ordered a cup of coffee. Plenty of time to ask us how our meal was, and plenty of time to send over dessert. It wasn't the dessert that really mattered, it was the empty gesture and the fake concern telling us how important we were to him and his restaurant. We used to go to the Ocean Twp Nino's every Sunday night until it closed for good. The servers there weren't well trained either, but we put up with it because they were nice people and the food was good at that location. If he wasn't such a phony, I would have given this place another shot.

   Everything was awesome. Went for Valentine’s Day dinner last minute. Has a pesto chicken special, broccoli rabe and sausage and zeppoli. Everything was delicious.

   A casual and really good BYO that invests the money in the food not the furnishings. A surprising number of birthdays being celebrated. The tiramisu was the best we ever had.
