About Ninfa's on Navigation
The Original Ninfa's on Navigation
Located on Navigation Boulevard just minutes from the heart of downtown Houston, the Original Ninfa's was all started with Mama Ninfa Laurenzo's creative TexMex recipes. These led to the introduction of fajitas & Mexican cuisine to North America which gained immediate success.
If you're looking for a Houston Mexican restaurant, Ninfa's on Navigation is not only a local icon, having serviced politicians, celebrities & even visiting royalty, their Mexican food is unbeatable. Chef Alex Padilla uses only top quality ingredients, like Mama Ninfa herself did, & fresh Gulf of Mexico seafood like red snapper, jumbo shrimp & more.
Voted Best Margaritas, you can enjoy Ninfaritas on the outdoor deck, dine on the best Mexican dishes & fajitas around and truly enjoy the great restaurant experience.

Ninfa's on Navigation Ratings and Reviews
The food was excellent but the service was abysmal. We asked for guacamole without onion and the waitress brought us a plate with the ingredients to make guacamole. Mind you not all of the ingredients because there was no lime. We proceeded to make our own guacamole which sets annoying tone for the evening. We had to ask for salt three times, limes two times and Everything took a bit too long. It could be that we got an exceptionally bad waitress or that the customers and taking care of them are not their priority.
Returned to Houston for a visit after 10+ year's away with the specific intent of having dinner at the original Ninfa's on Navigation. Larger venue now but the food, and Margaritas, were as great as we remembered. Our waitperson was great in putting together a combination platter of our remembered favorites. Complimentary valet service makes parking a breeze.
The service was disappointing, the server (Kady) brought an "incomplete" order, 3 orders were ready,
the 4th order, which was MINE, was NOT brought. My 3 guests had to wait on my order, I had
to tell them to eat because their food was getting "cold"... Never serve an INCOMPLETE order
to dining guests!!!!!!! We are a complete restaurant guest when the food order was place, the food should be served as a
COMPLETE order collectively. Kady was not as friendly and attentive as our previous visits to Ninfa's on
Navigation..Irrespective of any reason, either high volume or a special event (ASTROS) , perhaps even both reason,
Best customer service and superior customer appreciation must always be a priority for a successful restaurant business, or any other entity for that matter...
The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation is always a treat no matter how far you have to drive. The food is always top quality and more than sufficient quantity. This restaurant is great on all levels. The service is outstanding at all levels with friendly , professional, and efficient production.
Ninfas on Navigation is always fun and their authentic Tex-Mex food is usually great. On this occasion however the poblano peppers in my chile rellenos were way under cooked.....basically raw.....disappointing. Also it was uncomfortably warm in the restaurant.....very hot. I'll give them a pass this time because they were very busy with a large loud rowdy Astros baseball crowd. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Service remained excellent though and their staff pleasant and accommodating as usual. Hopefully they will have their AC fixed by my next visit.
Overpriced. Ordered ceviche, came with 4 shrimp and 2 small pieces of fish for $18. The guests with me said that their meals were really good, but double the price of any other restaurant with comparable quality. One person paid $18 for quesadillas. Will not go back, certainly not worth the drive.
