Wonderful Covid procedures, and food was quickly served & lovely staff!

I took my daughter out to dinner at Ninfa’s as a belated Christmas gift before a string quartet concert. Everyone told us that we had to go to The Original Ninfa’s to get the authentic feeling. Sorry but we thought the Ninfa’s in the Galleria area was much nicer. The food was still excellent but the ambiance wasn’t anything special.

We ate on the patio and really enjoyed it. With the COVID situation we were seated apart so that noise wasn't a problem. Service was excellent. The food, as always was superb. I wish the menu was a little larger, but maybe that's just a sign of the times. We had no trouble finding good things to eat. In my case it was the beef tacos al carbon. I ordered two, but they were so large I should have ordered just one. Everything we had, including appetizers and Margaritas were perfect!

For a traditional Mexican restaurant, everything was bland. The only thing seasoned well was the tamale, but it was dry because they took it out of the husk to serve. Overall not worth the money. Overpriced and it was very cold in there, and we were close to the kitchen.

Wasn’t sure what to think of it at first, it was a quiet late Tuesday night, but I can imagine that this place would be packing with ppl on a weekend night or weekend lunch. Great food and drinks, a bit pricey for Mexican but definitely very good. Fun place for a last minute date night.

Had friends visiting from out of town and brought them to the Original Ninfa’s for dinner. Great food, great service. We showed up 30 mins early for our reservation and we’re still seated immediately. We’ll be back soon!

Ninfa's is an all time favorite of ours. They have done a good job making diners feel safe in a number of ways, with masked and gloved servers and online menus. I saw them cleaning a table after the diners left, and they were very thorough. It was chilly on the somewhat enclosed patio, but it was our choice to eat outside. We noticed dividers in the main dining rooms that I'm sure helped keep parties apart.
And the food: anything with fajitas (tacos, enchiladas, etc.) is good, and I always enjoy their margaritas despite the cold!

Christmas Eve best food

They have backed off the amount of smoke they cook the meat with. Queso consistency closer to what it akways has been, still a little to thick. We have been coming to Ninfas for 40 years. The past 15 Christmas eve at Ninfas Navigation has become pure tradition! Food was excellent and piping hot! Two pitchers of frozen Ritas, perfect! Great job!

I’ve heard lots of good things about the restaurant but it didn’t live up to the reputation. The queso was basically velvetta and the food was extremely bland. Very disappointed.

We had reservations for 6:45 inside. At 7:05 they asked us if we were okay with sitting outside (it was cold) and we said no thank you, because we had made reservations for inside. Finally at 7:20 we were seated inside. What is the point of a reservation if they make you stand around for 45 minutes?!

Fajitas were excellent. Nifaritas were amazing! Service was amazing. We made reservations and were seated before our reservation time. Highly recommend.

Very good Mexican food. Patio are is very nice, has plastic up if raining and good heater to heat the space.

Lovely family lunch in a socially distant setting. Service was cordial and attentive with extra care in providing extra sauces, chips and tortillas. Would definitely come back!

Fantastic food, great prices and portions. Service was a little slow as it got busy.

Food and service were both great. My only "issue" was when we went to leave and they gave us a few to-go containers for our leftovers we had one extra, and my husband loves the salsa, so he dumped it in the container. Well 2 of the wait staff were making fun of him in Spanish and laughing, one of the people at our table could understand what they were saying...it wasn't very nice.
