A reservation was made through OpenTable for a business lunch, but 925 did not have record of the reservation.
Good food, great service. Great restaurant to be able to carry on a conversation.
I met a dear friend for brunch. We were seated in a seemingly quiet part of the restaurant, but then the manager seated a group of 18 next to us. The sound was unbearable. The service was slow and frustrating. Only highlight was the food. Such a bummer!!
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, AMAZING FOOD!
I love that 925 presents a relaxing inviting setting with food that is prepared well and provides good choices. I fear that the masses are not showing up and don't know what to do about that other than review it well!
I have been going to this place a few times a year since it opened it was great when it opened then they changed the chef and it fell but the changed the chef again and I love it again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a fair price for the items on the menu.
We have enjoyed 925 many times since it opened and it is still a great place to go for good food, great service in a lovely environment. The food is not as great or innovative as it was under Chef Lenny Russo, but good.
Great service and a beautiful calming environment!
Service, food and music by King Baron were all outstanding. Had asked for seating to see and hear the music and were able to do both with great comfort. They accommodated food requests and shared plates. The jazz music was professional, loud enough to hear but quiet enough to accommodate conversation and the musician extremely talented. Will be back.
Enjoyed the live music
Ninetwentyfive has always been excellent but recently it has improved more. The menu is somewhat limited, but each item is excellent. Very great and quiet atmosphere. Service is always top notch. Their live music is a great addition.
For a hotel restaurant, it was very good. For a regular restaurant, it was above average food and a fun atmosphere. Wait staff and others, besides the host, seemed off or have poor social skills unable to pick up on social queues.
Not crowded. Attentive service. Both of our meals were delicious. Adult beverages were pricey. Overall we would return.
One of the best restaurants in Wayzata. Fantastic and unique food in a nice, comfortable atmosphere served by wonderful, unpretentious staff. They clicked every box, which is getting rare these days. I'd rate the clientele as unpretentious, too, which can also be rare in restaurants in this area. It's almost like this place is a secret.
DO NOT RECOMMEND- Overall the restaurant was a HUGE let down. We came for restaurant week - specifically knowing exactly what we wanted. Wait staff was extremely slow even though the restaurant was not busy..... took 20 minutes to get our drinks and then another 20 to order. We finally get our order in and the waitress comes back again.... 20 minutes later saying they are out of what we wanted. Since it was restaurant week we only had two other options. We were bummed. Both options were extremely disappointing and we probably would have got what we wanted if she wasn’t so slow. We thought dessert would make us happy again- NOPE. We got a brownie can you really mess that up? So stale, not even heated. Very Sub par meal for a high price. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Go somewhere else.
You have to try the buffalo shrimp app - they were delicious. Cocktails were really good and innovative. Walleye was very good.
Great restaurant and wonderful ambiance. Very elegant and classy. Beautiful and clean! Would totally go back. Prices were great, food was out of this world.
Visited during restaurant week. Party of 4 and all of us agreed we made the right choice. Execellect food, from the salad, to the entre, to the dessert. Steak was cooked perfectly. The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious. We visited during the fall restaurant week. It was too chilly to sit outside, but looked great for a warmer weather day. Patios both on the main and upper levels. Loved the "style" of the restaurant, from the open overlook from the 2nd level down to the main floor, to the decor. Not extremely large, but just the right size to seem intimate, but also offers some rooms if you want to have a large party. Definitely will be back if we are in the area or if we venture south for another date night (we live on the north end of the cities).
Fresh burrata salad with mozzarella, tasty chicken sandwich and yummy pumpkin cheesecake
Went here for Restaurant Week October 2019. The food was great, and was an amazing value with the promotion. Our server was attentive and friendly but allowed us time to enjoy our meals and conversation without excessive interruptions. There was a live band there that night so it was a little louder than I would have expected but the music was mellow and set a good tone for the night. Overall, I was impressed and will be back!
The food was pretty good, but everything about the service was pretty poor, with the exception of the hostesses.
Third time here...would love to like it, but food is not good. Very bland. Comes out looking like it may be good, but no taste or just doesn’t make sense.
The ambiance was very comfortable. The wait staff were friendly and attentive enough without being obtrusive. The food was very tasty and well presented. A nice surprise as we had not been there before.
The papparddelle was excellent, along with the burrito appetizer. It was a delicious meal, and we enjoyed the evening. Badinage was outstanding.
Top quality service, interesting menu with some original, tasty choices and brussel sprouts that were amazing.
Food and Server were great.
Food was delicious and inventive.
Woman who waited on us was unfriendly and got the order wrong.
Please don’t have live entertainment! People come to talk to their dining companions and the music was very loud requiring shouting.
Despite the 2 comments above I would recommend because food is great!
Positive. ‘Noise level’ is an unfair evaluation question. An excellent combo was playing and offered up some nice music.
We had a lovely booth and a great meal. I head the halibut and it was nicely prepared.
We had not returned to Ninetwentyfive in about 6 months. Our 2 initial dining experiences (1 lunch and 1 dinner) had done nothing to prompt a return.
However, recent comments from friends as well as some favorable newspaper reviews suggested we should give it another try.
We are very pleased with our recent visit. Service was flawless. Classic Caesar salad was well prepared. Seared scallops and Southern fried chicken entrees were excellent. Coffee piping hot and full bodied.
Have already made follow-up reservations.
I enjoyed coming to this restaurant for brunch! It was my first time and I would go again
Beautiful restaurant great patio. Food much improved but serving a bit small for price
A bit pricey for what you get.
We went for date night - it's an unexpected treasure in downtown Wayzata. Excellent food - try the charcuterie plate, quiet - perfect for a romantic dinner, very good service. We will be back!
Made for a most enjoyable evening.
Food and atmosphere was ok. Wasnt blown away by anything. Not what we expected. We ate there at 6:00 on a Saturday night and the place was empty.
We sat for quite a while without any attention. Finally the hostess came to ask if we would like drinks. I had some questions about the drink menu but she walked away with just my husband's order. We waited a long time again and eventually a server showed up and took my drink order. Our server paid very little attention to us - the person watching our water glasses was far more attentive. I made the reservation with "Anniversary" noted and not one mention was made of our special occasion. The food was fine, not memorable.
Server was inattentive. He took our order, someone else delivered it, and he didn’t come back until we flagged him down to get more coffee. Same thing happened when we needed our bill. We waited 5-10 minutes for him to walk by but he never did. We ended up asking another server for it and she went and got him. I don’t need impecable table service at brunch, but I’m not willing to chase down a server to get coffee refilled.
We went with friends for our standing Wednesday night date night, which turned out to be a "thing" at ninetwentyfive. We ordered off the Date Night menu which made the evening very affordable. We supplemented with cocktails, and our friends ordered off the dinner menu and everything was delicious. We moved tables, from the patio to the bar, due to dusk-time mosquitoes, and the staff were great in accommodating the change. Overall, a very enjoyable evening!
First time eating here. 3 of us went and shared the burrata, scallops, steak and halibut. I enjoyed the veggies with everything instead of a starch. Our waiter was very informative. The setting is beautiful.
