I would have given 4 or even 5 stars but the service was only fair. Our server wasn't all that friendly, seemed to be bothered that I asked her to put grenadine in my Sprite. Also charged me $3 for a refill, which was not the case the other two times we are there last weekend. Also noted that we were celebrating a birthday when we made the reservation but there was no mention of it when we were there.
The ambiance is really good. So nice to be able to eat outside in MN in February and not be cold!
Food was delicious! Highly recommend the lobster mac & cheese. Strip dip was also really good but they could have done a better job of picking the fat out.
Overall, this was a good experience that could have been great with a couple tweeks to the service and food.
We went for lunch during Restaurant Week. Dinner menu looks very interesting and we plan to go back again.
Delicious offers for Restaurant Week, but menu is VERY limited for choices, compared to other fine restaurants in the area running fixed price menus.
Would like to see more than 1 selections for dessert and more than plain salad for one of only two appetizer selections.
Waiter was attentive. Walleye and steak were well prepared.
Food was good, service attentive, little over priced.
Excellent service
Gnocchi was fantastic
We will go again
Nice job with restaurant week! New server but he did great. Food was excellent, apple pie and ice cream worked wonderfully.
We loved the food and atmosphere and the waitress we had was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Our waitress was inattentive, and drink orders were mixed with another table. Possibly due to Covid restrictions, or maybe being busy, but we were asked to leave after two hours to open up the table. Part of that time was spent waiting for service; all of these things may have been the luck of the draw on that night. I would want to stress that the food was terrific, and perfectly prepared.
ninetwentyfive has a great outdoor setting. We were on the porch - table for 4 - with a great heater. We were comfortable for 3 hours - and enjoyed wine, dinner and dessert. Robyn, our server, did a fantastic job (as she has ion the past). We'll be back!
Stayed at The Landing and had dinner to celebrate wedding anniversary. Salad, oysters, and peel n eat shrimp were very good.
The Steak Oscar and Filit Mignon we ordered for main course what let's say poor quality and truly not filt cuts. Tough and tastes like something you would get at really low budget diner.
Very disappointing. The server was fantastic and did her beat to correct the situation but by then the food experience was already done. I cannot recommend ordering any of the main entrees. Poor quality.
Very good food. Hard to find a table that doesn’t have a draft from outside.
Definitely improved since we were there last( 6 months ago!) . New management made us very welcome! Service was awesome. Good pours for happy hour and nice ambience. Fun having live music in safe well spaced environment! Food good for hay hour and okay value but it’s Wayzata!
Disappointed that outside dining was not available (the cold snap was over). Unsure whether the existing tables were really 6 feet apart - seemed more crowded AND noisier than normal. Clearly, there was going to be a Mardi Gras party - and some of the rules seemed relaxed. Hoping for better next time.
Our server was outstanding!
Valentine’s Day
Went for Valentine’s day, food was amazing.
Had a good first experience other than slow service the first time and thought we’d try it again. What a disappointment! Service was slightly better, but the menu for Valentines Day was price fix and limited in scope. Salad had no taste/dressing. Entree was ice cold. Server was slow to check back. Really want to like this stylish place, but it’s not cutting it.
The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Great Valentines Day menu! Food and service was outstanding.
Server was disengaged and couldn’t have cared less to make the Valentine’s Day meal special for us. We were told the pre-selected menu was the only option, then watched other tables order alternative food.
We like this restaurant because it has a nice atmosphere and nice seating. Menu and wine list are very good. It is a great date night spot or nice for groups.
Clam Chowder was wonderful but the Margarita Flatbread was not good. The burrata and pesto was a great idea but the crust was soggy and the burrata would have been better not cooked but fresh on top.
We had a drink and app at the bar the first night of our stay at the Hotel Landing. The service was slow and we had finished our drinks long before our appetizer came out - and it was just a hummus plate. The bar experience was just meh.
Then, we had brunch the following morning before checkout. Our service was again incredibly slow even though there seemed to be plenty of staff and only a few other diners. Our waitress did not know the menu well. She brought out the first part of our order (and it was wrong) and a side of bacon. We ordered the berry waffles to share and she brought plain. When we asked, she said “ oh those are just berries on top. Did you want those?” Of course! That’s what we ordered. And then we also had to ask her for the whipped cream side after that. For $13 silver dollar waffles, we want all the menu advertised. We then sat with our wrong waffles and bacon for 5-10 minutes before our omelet and avocado toast arrived. By the time we were settled and ready to eat, our food was cold.
It was also absolutely freezing both times we are there. This weekend was for sure record cold but we had to keep hats and jackets on for a portion of our meals.
I really enjoyed the food and the hospitality from the staff. But it was cold. People can come in and out too many doors. It didn’t seem as formal as portrayed online. People in jeans, loud at the bar. I wish for intimate gathering reservations we were seated in a different part of the restaurant not on the same level as the bar. Just my suggestion. The food was good. Didn’t care for the hot chocolate but everything else was good. Just don’t go here for romance.
Megan was a little phenomenal server. We enjoyed our experience and she was the best!!
Unfortunately we had a less than desirable experience, and not what we expected from previous experience and expectations from this establishment. There was an apparent water problem/leak and the restaurant was freezing cold (because MN temperatures and the doors had to be open)! We had to wear our coats during our meal, and not one person from the mgmt came to see how we were doing or apologize for their issue. We were the ones who had to ask our server if the heat would be turned on or catch up soon. She offered us blankets which weren’t really that helpful. Needless to say, our meals cooled off fast. All in all, not the fanfare I expected to see after being shuttered at home during the pandemic.
Wonderful evening with friends, great food and drinks, excellent service! Thank you!
Great evening with friends! Love the 925, will be back soon! Thank you!
Great food and service
Loved the Mimosa for 4 presented in a large Champaign glass. The lemon blueberry French toast was very nice with grated lemon peel, but could have been enhance with an actual lemon sauce. The ambiance was light and airy, fun to be inside looking out!
1st time. Loved the food, ambiance, and pricing. Service was pleasant but painfully slow at times. We will give it another try.
Fantastic evening out! Delightful food, service, ambiance and craft cocktails! Highly recommend.
We went there for breakfast. Food was fresh and delicious. Portion sizes were generous. Highly recommend.
Great experience. Well spaced tables. Live music on Thursday was great.
Super cozy- great food! Highly recommend
It was great to be able to dine at 925 again and celebrate our anniversary! The live music was a treat and added to the evening.
Nice touch providing complimentary birthday dessert
Awesome!!!!
Food was great but the service was quite slow. I felt sorry for our server - she had so many tables. Totally understand restaurants are doing everything they can to survive right now so will cut them some slack as it just seemed they didn’t have enough staff. I had the bolognese and it was really really good.
A great outdoor dining experience. Limited appetizer menu (in my opinion), but great wine and what we ordered was fantastic. Our waitress - Robyn (with a 'y') was great - great knowledge and a fun personality. This was our (my wife and me) first MN outdoor dining experience - it was simply fantastic!
