NINETEEN at Awbrey Glen
Wonderful view from the patio and friendly service.
Adequate food, high prices for a burger, remainder of menu rather pedestrian.
Another Great meal on the deck @19, food was super as was the ambience and service.
We had hoped to have a lovely birthday dinner, observing part of the course to determine if we’d some day like to be a member. This wasn’t the case as we waited over 15 minutes for a server to assist us. Four servers were standing around when we left. Hopefully my husband’s birthday will be better next year.
Patio seating for dinner was in the full sun so unbearably hot on a 90 degree day. Service was OK they got our order mixed up and corrected it promptly. Salads are tiny for price need more food.
Beautiful, on the patio. The food and wine were very good.
Service was great. Food was exceptional. Price was reasonable. Highly recommended but make sure and make a reservation given the shortage of tables in these challenging times.
High prices for just average food. Good service and polite staff, but the food just does not thrill.
Celebrated Valentine's Day. Great menu for the evening and very enjoyable experience.
Our experience at Nineteen at Awbrey Glen did not live up to previous meals there. Hasbrown's were cold and didn't improve when sent back to be heated. Bacon was greasy and unappetizing. Sure hope things improve as we have loved having breakfast there on Sundays.
While the food is certainly adequate, it is way over priced.
Great food and service, place was empty, so quiet. Very nice dinner and we will dine there again.
We went on Friday after Thanksgiving. Food was great and the waiter was very accommodating. We have been several times and will definitely go back.
Our waitress, Alexis, was amazing. The best we have had in a long time.
Good creative menu options (small plates, creative entres, salads, and sandwiches. Just the right amount of interaction from the server. Tables we set with nice appointments without being over the top. Good selection of quality wines while having an assortment of affordable selections.
Food was excellent especially the Tuna Tower.
The dinner experience continues to be a disappointment. The limited menu is very basic and uninteresting. The value of the dinner meal is not there. Bend has many restaurants that offer a better meal at a fairer price & value.
Fortunately, the friendly servers do an excellent job with their limited resources. Prior to leaving the club, the former chef did a very good job with menu options and creative dishes.
We need to do better as a club if we want to have success in the restaurant business.
I would recommend Nineteen; however, I am SO disappointed in restaurants that do not update their online menus, like Nineteen didn't do. I was all tasted up for their Halibut, and it was not on the menu, nor was my 2nd choice. When I asked about it, the waitress said it hadn't been updated since last month. That irritates me greatly. The menu on the night we went had nothing I wanted - it was very sparce. I ended up getting a salad and nothing else. The salad was very good, but just disappointed, in general.
My party of six really enjoyed breakfast on the deck. The food was delicious, the service professional and the view lovely. We will be back!
We chose Awbrey Glen because we knew it would be much quieter than the average restaurant. In other places the noise level is so high you can't hear the person across the table. The food was good, but my salad was minuscule. The online Happy Hour menu doesn't match what's available in the actual restaurant. In fact, the waiter/server didn't even seem to know that there was a Happy Hour menu or even that there was a Happy Hour on Sunday. When they brought what was supposed to be that menu, I'm sure it wasn't. There was nothing at a discounted price.
We waited forever to have someone seat us, and then another long time before someone came to take our order. The waiter who seated us said he would be back to take the order, but since he never came we flagged down another waitress who was prompt and courteous.
We made a reservation for fathers day at 6PM as identified on open table. The restaurant staff said there was not manager to translate the reservation and they were closing at 6pm. Someone better get something straight...
Service was very slow, even though our waiter was very nice. Got the impression that he was not only the bartender but also the cook! Probably not, but by the way he said something it just felt that way. The Long Island Iced Tea tasted like lemonade and very tart. Was not a LI Tea, and I should have returned it. Salads took forever to arrive, and the chicken was forgotten on the Cobb salad. We were half finished by the time the very dry, overcooked chicken was delivered. Salad was good and the blue cheese dressing was great. There was an accommodation for my dad to have a different dressing and no blue cheese on the plate. Overall, this was just a fair experience, not what I expected from a classy golfing community restaurant.
We decided to go to Awbrey Glen for lunch on a nice sunny day instead of our dinner visits. We sat outside on the patio deck with the golf course view. My wife ordered the power greens salad and I had the club sandwich. Both were excellent. We had iced tea with our lunch. A great location for a summer lunch.
Hello, I only had a soup for lunch, and it was too salty, and the orzo was mushy. Wasn't the best tasting soup.
It was outstanding, as always. Our group loves coming to 19 for lunch, usually every other Thursday!
Our group of 6 met for an early dinner at Awbrey Glen. Service was quick and accurate. The server came back to check that orders were accurate, which they were. We were early enough that we ordered our wine and beers on the Happy Hour menu. They were good quality, and not the "cheap stuff" many restaurants have taken to serving for happy hour. Interestingly, everyone in our group ordered one of the meal salads, and we were all very happy with our meals. The servings were large enough that I took my Cobb Salad leftovers home and had 2 more lunches from them. Check them out!
Our group loves to come to the restaurant for lunch after our bi-monthly meetings. The service is great, the food is excellent and the price is reasonable. Plus the dining room, with all the windows and the light that comes in, is very pleasant. Also your waitresses know how to deal with individual checks quite efficiently! Love it!
Excellent food, and good value. Service was a bit slow. We were not in a hurry, but still felt unattended.
We chose Nineteen because we wanted a nice dinner spot for family without too much noise. Everything turned out great. Our table was ready, food was great, and prices reasonable. We recommend.
Always consistent, great food, beautiful setting, wonderful service. Never disappointed.
We went to the golf course for lunch and sat out on the rear deck on a very nice day. My wife ordered the quiche and I ordered the wedge salad w/bacon & blue cheese and the bean soup of the day. All were really good. Our server, Chase was very attentive. A good day.
lovely place to watch the mountains on a hot day. very good service. food was abit above average
While we have had very good experiences at Nineteen for brunch, the dinner experience was just okay. The food is old-school heavy on fat, relying overmuch on butter, cheese, and left us all overwhelmed and disinterested. Disappointing. And the dessert trio was really poor. Uncreative.
The service was ridiculously poor! The staff is young and clearly trying hard, but some training as to how to provide good table service during what at least wants to be a higher-end dining experience is necessary.
Excellent salad bar for lunch. Lots of free items including a good soup.
Am sorry to say is the second below average meal I’ve had here in the last few weeks. First was St. Patrick’s day when I opted for fried shrimp instead of the featured corn beef. Shrimp were severely overdone. The second time I did select the featured special of clams and pasta thinking last time the kitchen wasn’t really prepared to serve much other than special. The picture of clams and pasta showed fresh clams in their shells while I received what appeared to be chopped clams from a can served with lukewarm pasta. Not what I expected!
The Fried green tomato egg benedict special was TINY !
Awbrey Glen is always a good place for a lunch meeting. The food is very good and consistently well prepared. Service is good and the view is incredible.
Food was good. Service was very poor and it was not busy.
We went to 19 for my wife's birthday. I asked for a quiet table because of being hard of hearing. The request was ignored. They asked if this was a special occasion. I told them it was my wife's birthday. Ignored. My wife ordered the sea scallops which were nice but nothing special. I ordered the Osso Bucco style short ribs which was served on top of mashed potatoes with some brussel sprouts on the plate which were a little too crunchy for my taste and had little flavor. The food was good but nothing special to my way of thinking.
This was a regular business lunch venue and everyone’s favorite was the Cobb salad. We were surprised when it is no longer available. The changes in the menu just won’t work for us.
