"Nineteen 86" is a fantastic place to go for a special occasion. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and combined with a quiet ambiance, every time is a wonderful dining experience. Don't expect anything less than $200 for a dinner for two, and more if you imbibe. - but it's worth it! The Crab Cake appetizer is perhaps the best thing on the menu - we get it every time! And the butter cake with ice cream was a pleasant dessert surprise. But of course, we have to mention the steaks - grilled to perfection with a great presentation and super delicious. The Brussel sprout side was great, and there are a lot of other choices to accompany the entrees. Do yourself a favor and visit this place - you won't regret it.

Service was exceptional. Brad was knowledgeable, polite, prompt and enjoyable. Made the dining experience a treat. We ordered a wedge salad which was not the best but the lobster bisque was excellent. The bone in filet was cooked to perfection and the green beans were good.

Nice setting for a proper dinner with exceptional service. Ask questions, all servers are friendly and welcoming. Food is amazing and worth the price. Remember you're paying for service as well.

We sat at a high top in the bar area, and unfortunately, the service was slow, and the food took forever to arrive. We watched tables all around us come later and get their food well before us. When asked they said "steamed lobster tails take a long time to cook" Well, silly them, we are from the east coast, and know that to be false. In addition, they forgot to bring our salads, and brought our soup with our entree. It was quite a disappointment, and although the entree was tasty, the overall experience was poor. The manager came by to apologize but did not offer any retribution. We have been there before and sat in the restaurant and it was lovely. The restaurant is nice and its super convenient for a fun night out at the casino, but it might make sense to dine somewhere else before going.

This is a great option for a local steakhouse. Our server recommended that we share the sides, and we were glad we did. Our ribeye was outstanding, and the french onion soup was nice and cheesy. The baked potato was enormous. We appreciated the way the wedge salad was served with accompaniments surrounding it. The restaurant was fairly quiet on a Thursday. so a reservation was not a necessity. Servers were very attentive to our needs. My only complaint is we left miserable due to being so full.

This restaurant is trying to be a 5 star steakhouse but fall short in every area. We were one of 5 tables with 4 servers. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and it took 10 minutes before the server returned with the wine. In the meantime our server spent a good amount of time chatting with a couple at another table completely ignoring us. We flagged her down so we could place our order for crab cakes, Caesar salad and two entrees. Both of us had almost finished our wine at this point, she didn’t ask if we wanted anything else to drink. A different server brought out our crab cakes and Caesar salad table side service at the same time. We asked if we could get another couple of glasses of wine. We were told we had to wait for our server. Crab cake was good, not very warm and Caesar salad was average. Finally ordered the wine which took another 10 minutes. When our entrees arrived the steak was rare not medium. Asked for it to be cooked a little longer. In the meantime I started to eat my meal so it didn’t get cold. The chicken was so dry it wasn’t eatable. Finally flagged down our server again to check on the steak as it had been 15 minutes and we were told they were making a completely new steak . What??? Why didn’t we know that and why didn’t she offer to keep my meal warm so we could eat together? At that point we asked for the check and told her to forget the steak. One of the worst dining experiences ever.

Our waitress was very nice as was the rest of the staff. Ceasar salad was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was very good. King crab was great. A big hair was found in my lobster bisque soup. The soup was returned and was not charged on the bill. My lamb had one good rack cooked as requested and one rack very under cooked. Could not figure out how that happened. Did not talk to waitress regarding the lamb as a few things had already did not go the restaurants way. Desert was ok.

Delightful evening helping my good friends celebrate their 40 anniversary. Table I requested was ready, server was personable and knowledgeable, food appeared on time, hot, and not rushed. Everything was cooked to perfection and my friends were impressed.

Most of the food was absolutely delicious, the side of corn was delivered, when we were almost finished with out meal. Additionally the salads arrived well after they were ordered, in fact I was unable to finish my salad before the entire arrived. We got a free dessert (we were celebrating my friends 86th birthday). We had to wait a very long time to receive said dessert, in fact I asked another server to see what was taking so long. I will be back, as I believe this experience was a one off. I must point out the presentation of the wedge salad was Outstanding, my guest could not stop talking about not only the presentation but the taste. My tomato/mozzarella salad had the most creamy mozzarella that I have had since last months visit. See you in the New Year.

Arrived 15 minutes early to be told they would not acknowledge us until our scheduled reservation time. Came back at that time only to wait another 10 minutes to be seated. Service was slow. Food was average at best. Plenty of better steak houses in the immediate area. Will not be returning.

The table side made Caesar salad was the greatest! I loved it! We went on a Thursday and they had a steak and lobster special with au gratin potatoes! It was all delicious! We drove 40 minutes to enjoy the amazing food! Well worth it! Our waiter Ken was incredible! Definitely recommend going there!

Ambiance is lovely, the service over the top, suburb. Amy our server is an exceptional person. We spoke on the way home how we have never had a service like her, shes a gem. For that reason we will be back to enjoy another evening at nineteen 86 Steak House.

So we usually go to Vegas for our Anniversary dinner but this year we decided to go to DD Casino in the West Valley. So glad we did. We had a excellent time and the food was beyond expectations. Prime Rib was tasty as was the horse radish dipping sauce. The only things that we were disappointed in was the small scoop of mashed potatoes and the 3 very small pieces of veggies that came with it. The desert we got was just fantastic. The duet which was cheese cake with creme brulee and the coffee was better then the big name coffee houses. Our waiter Rafik was fantastic too. If you ever go ask for a table in his area. We will go back again for an enjoyable meal that is well worth the price.

Our first visit to Nineteen 86 was fantastic, actually thought " wow, the West Valley is finally coming alive with fine dining". Returned for a 2nd time, experience fell short in the service area. Our waiter would disappear and not return for 15-20 minute increments, very frustrating and led to longer than usual dinner night. It was a busy night and figured it was an off night. The food was fabulous though! Returned for the 3rd visit a few days ago, had the same waiter as the 2nd visit and again, disappeared to the bar area for 15–20-minute increments. Our water glasses went empty for the whole time we were there. Our appetizers were ordered, and they were very good, but the 3-day old stale bread was awful. Waiter disappeared for quite some time and to add to the experience we got to be entertained by 4-5 employees congregating in the kitchen galley entrance laughing and being obnoxiously loud while we sat there and waited and waited. Very unprofessional for this to be happening in a restaurant like this. Anyhow, we decided to leave after the appetizer and give in to the fact this place is not the fine dining steakhouse we were rooting for. It's too bad Nineteen 86, management if you are reading this get involved. Your food is fantastic but your staff stinks!

We went there for dinner on our anniversary. We were married in 1986 so was the perfect choice. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Looked too pretty to eat. Glad we took pics first. The ribeye steak was grilled perfectly and melted in your mouth. The accompaniments are large enough to share. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection: moist, juicy and flavorful. The anniversary creme brule cheesecake was to die for. Nice ambiance. The staff was friendly and professional. A little pricey but worth it, especially for special occasions. Definitely will go again.
