   The service was excellent. They have a very good team work. The food was great! We don’t eat much and Ken were very nice to suggest splitting up into two the prime rib we ordered. It was a great experienced and we will be back for sure

   We eat at the most popular chain steakhouse almost every week. At that steakhouse the 8oz filet is wonderful compared to Nineteen 86. It is larger, more tender and more flavorful at the chain steakhouse. We were both glad we got only one to split between us. Other than that the Lobster bisque was very good as were the twin lobsters, mushrooms and asparagus. Also the creme brulé was very good. The strawberry cheesecake was very average. The service was very good with no major issues.

   I have never had an issue with the food or my server here. However the last 2 times I came I didn't appreciate the way I was treated by the hostess. My last visit I was there celebrating my 18th wedding anniversary and requested a booth. The booth I requested in my reservation was not left available even though the place was fairly empty. As an alternative the hostess tried to seat us in the booth closest to the bathroom. This means lots of foot traffic. NO THANK YOU! I politely pointed out that I didn't want to be this close to the bathrooms. My request was granted. The server was amazing! Now as for the staff that comes by and refills water and clear the dishes. I do appreciate the diligence in getting the task done so promptly, however it is annoying to be asked by 3 different individuals per course if I'm done with my food. This is FINE DINING... STOP THAT CRAP IT IS ANNOYING! Learn to be observant and pick up on body language. Perhaps casually scroll by and take a peek instead of constantly asking if I'm done. Other than that... Amazing as always! And STILL my favorite steakhouse in the valley!

   First time at Nineteen 86. Very nice venue. Arrived at my reservation time and was sat immediately. The food served was very nice. The staff could use a little bit more training. The wine and escargot were served, but I had to inquire about the bread. It’s my fault for not doing research about the restaurant before going, and I assumed that the steaks were served a la carte like Flemings or Morton’s . At Nineteen 86, the steaks do come with a little bit of sides. My 8 oz filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I was surprised when the filet arrived plated with a dollop of creamy mashed potato, sautéed baby carrot and a green stem vegetable I couldn’t identify. The menu does not specify that there would be sides with the steaks. So just as I would do at another high end steak house, I ordered sides. Since the filet is plated with mashed potatoes, my order of a loaded baked potato was superfluous. Also I had considered ordering a side of mashed potatoes. 2 helpings of the same side would have been a disaster. Lastly, I do not go to casinos very often, and I understand that the Desert Diamond casino in Waddell has a free coffee station. I’m assuming there is a similar set up at the Northern Ave casino. I’m not sure. Anyways, I proceeded to order coffee along with my dessert of creme brûlée. The crème brûlée is a pretty nice size that you can share with another. The server brought the coffee in a French press to the table, but no coffee cups. I had to ask for the coffee cups. To my dismay, they brought the coffee cups, but no saucers that should have accompanies the coffee cups. I may be asking too much of this restaurant. Now, I know that Ruth’s Chris has switched to serving coffee with a mug, in which case, I would not expect a saucer. But if you’re going to bring out a coffee cup, it should have a saucer. This is on restaurant management to teach the servers who may never have dined at a restaurant that has saucers.

   There was seven in our party so they had us seated in their private room off the main dining room. This was very nice. The wait staff were top notch. The Easter dinner specials were delish and well presented. You can't go wrong celebrating a special occasion here.
